유연한 매니퓰레이터 제어를 위한 적응형 명령성형 필터의 최적 시간지연 값 추출 (Extraction of Optimal Time-Delay in Adaptive Command Shaping Filter for Flexible Manipulator Control)

  • The performance of the direct adaptive time-delay command shaping filter depends on the select time-delay. In the previously introduced direct adaptive command shaping filter, however, the time-delay value is fixed and only the magnitudes of the impulses are learned. In this paper, the authors introduce a new scheme to adapt the time-delay which is to be used in conjunction with the direct adaptive command shaping for the improved vibration suppression in flexible motion system. In order to formulate the time-delay adaptation scheme, the authors have analyzed the effect of the time-delay value on the performance of the direct adaptive command shaping filter. By modifying the direct adaptation formula based on the analysis result the authors have established a set of equations to adapt the time-delay toward the optimal value. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed time-delay adaptation approach for the improved vibration suppression.

  • Today's environment of enterprise is changing. They have to face customer' demands with the right product, the right service and supply them at the right time. And also cut down logistics and inventory cost and bring up the profit as much as they can. This means the change of putting enterprise first in importance to putting customer first importance. therefore to correspond to customer's demand, shorting lead time is becoming a essential condition. The answer to this changes of environment is supply chain management. In this paper, It consolidates the necessity on a LTV(Life Time Value) and analyzes data which is concerned of Customer Value. Under the these environments, defines the LTV(Life Time Value) rule that can improve the customer value.

흰쥐에서 Tiletamine-Zolazepam 및 Lidocaine의 경막외투여시의 마취 효과 (The Anesthetic Effects of the Epidural Administration of Tiletamin-Zolazepam and Lidocaine in Rats)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the anesthetic effects of the epidural administration of tiletamin-zolazepam and lidocaine to rats. Blood pressure, heart rate, respiratoty rate and blood chemistry were examined according to the time lapse, after the administration of tiletamine-zolazepam, lidocaine or saline. The results obtained were as follows. 1, Tiletamine-zolazepam group revealed fast anesthesia onset time (p<0.01) and also revealed prolonged ambulation time compared with lidocaine group (p<0.01). 2. In the effects of blood pressure, tiletamine-zolazepam group revealed significantly higher value than lidocaine group or saline group, and revealed the highest value at 20 minutes after administration. According to the time lapse, blood pressure of tiletamine-zolazepam group was recovered and showed similar value with lidocaine group and control group at 90 minutes after administration. 3. In the effects of heart rate, tiletamine-zolazepam group revealed significantly lower value than lidocaine group or saline group and revealed the lowest value at 30 minutes after administration, and recovered similar value with pre-administration at 90 minutes after administration. 4. In the effects of respiratory rate, lidocaine group revealed significantly lower value at 30 minutes administration compared with 0 and 60 minutes after administration (p<0.01). Tiletamine-zolazepam group also revealed significantly lower value at 30 minutes compared with 0 and 60 minutes after administration (p<0.01). The changes at 60 minutes after administration, lidocaine group revealed lower value than saline or tiletamine-zolazepam group, and tiletamine-zolazepam group revealed similar value with 0 minutes. 5. In the effects of tidal volume, lidocaine group revealed significantly lower value than saline group (p<0.001) and tiletamine-zolazepam group also revealed lower value than saline group, at 30 minutes after administration. The values at 60 minutes after administration, revealed similar results with that of 30 minutes after administration. 6. In the blood chemistry, the values of alanine transminase (ALT), aspartate transminase(AST) and creatinine did not reveal significant results at 60 minutes after administration. The values of ALT at 60 minutes slightly decreased compared with pre-administration, and revealed normal level.

의료서비스에서 유형별 대기시간의 선행 및 결과변수 (Antecedents and Consequences of the Types of Waiting Times in Medical Services)

  • This research has classified waiting times into the three different ones according to service offering process and investigated the antecedents and consequences of types of waiting times. A service provider's concern and customer involvement were modeled as antecedent variables and negative emotion and service value as dependent variables. The empirical results of the study are as follows. A service provider's concern had significant influences on all the three types of waiting times whereas customer involvement was found to affect preprocess-waiting and postprocess-waiting times. Preprocess-waiting time had a significant impact on both negative emotion and service value and inprocess-waiting time only affects negative emotion. However, postprocess-waiting time had influenced none of the variables. The findings illustrate an important role of concern and involvement regarding to a customer's perceived waiting time and relative importance of waiting types on negative emotion and service value. A summary of the results are reported and managerial implications are discussed.

A Pilot Study on the Muscle Activities in Step Input Test as an Indicator of the Vehicle Characteristics

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze 'response time', 'peak response time' and 'overshoot value' for each muscle by applying the EMG signal to the vehicle response in ISO 7401 and to quantify the response of the driver according to vehicle characteristics by comparing vehicle characteristics and muscle responses of the driver. Background: The Open-loop test defined in international standards ISO 7401 is the only method for evaluating the performance of the vehicle. However, this test was focused only on mechanical responses, not driver's ones. Method: One skilled male driver(22 yrs. experience) was participated in this experiment to measure muscle activities of the driver in transient state. Then the seven muscle signals were applied to calculate 'response time', 'peak response time', and 'overshoot value'. Results: In the analyses of the EMG data, the effects of vehicle type and muscle were statistically significant on the 'response time' and 'peak response time'. Also, the effects of vehicle type, muscle, and lateral acceleration level were statistically significant on the 'overshoot value' in this study. According to the analyses of the vehicle motion data, vehicle motion variable(LatAcc, Roll, YawVel) was statistically significant on the 'response time' and vehicle type, vehicle motion variable, and lateral acceleration level were statistically significant on the 'peak response time', respectively. Conclusion: In the analyses of the 'response time' and 'overshoot value', the data of muscle activities(EMGs) was better index that could evaluate the vehicle characteristic and performance than the data of vehicle motion. In case of peak response time, both EMG and vehicle motion data were good index. Application: The EMGs data from a driver might be applicable as index for evaluation of various vehicle performances based on this study.

Time-Delay Effects on DC Characteristics of Peak Current Controlled Power LED Drivers

  • New discrete time domain models for the peak current controlled (PCC) power LED drivers in continuous conduction mode include for the first time the effects of the time delay in the pulse-width-modulator. Realistic amounts of time delay are found to have significant effects on the average output LED current and on the critical inductor value at the boundary between the two conduction modes. Especially, the time delay can provide an accurate LED current for the PCC buck converter with a wide input voltage. The models can also predict the critical inductor value at the mode boundary as functions of the input voltage and the time delay. The overshoot of the peak inductor current due to the time delay results in the increase of the average output current and the reduction of the critical inductor value at the mode boundary in all converters. Experimental results are presented for the PCC buck LED driver with constant-frequency controller.

Non-Value-added Activity 개선을 통한 간호업무 효율성 향상 (Case study on improvements in non-value-added nursing activities to increase the efficiency of nursing care)

  • Background: This study investigates improvements in non-value-added nursing activities in clinical work, in order to improve the efficiency and quality of nursing activities. Methods: The study was performed as a quality improvement project at a tertiary general hospital. The nursing activities that needed improvements were categories into admission care, discharge care, supply management, diagnostic work-up related activities, and others. The nursing time and frequency of non-value-added activities were compared across nine nursing units before and after implementation of the quality improvement program. Post-implementation patient and nurse satisfaction were subsequently analyzed. Result: Post-implementation, the time spent on non-value-added nursing activities was reduced and patients and nurses were satisfied with the improvements. Discussion: Reducing non-value-added activities in nursing can increase the work efficiency and ensure time for patient care, thus improving the quality of nursing care. For further study, accurate surveys on nursing activities based on nursing time are required.

Relation between P-D value of Autopilot and Transfer Distance under Wind Pressure

  • When performing steering by an autopilot (automatic steering gear), a sensitivity adjustment is mainly determined by P value and D value. These values differ in the optimal combination by model of ship and external forces. This research was carried out simulation case studies and examined movement of Pure Car Carrier, which easily received ship by wind pressure influence in low speed We investigated the relation of horizontal migration(transfer) of ship's body and P-D value. Based on it, four parameters of P-D at approaching berth could be suggested Hence there were suggestions of parameters; Distance to maximum lee point, Time to maximum lee point, Time to return to original course and Time to 300th second. The correlation of these parameters and P-D value were also considered. As a result, we think that this index, like formulated P-D, leads to an easy and safe navigation by utilizing these indices.

  • Knowledge, technology and information have special characteristics different from the ones of normal consumer products and services. Especially the value of such information varies according to external elements such as the provided environment, their method of utilization, and the level and purpose, etc. of the user. In this study, the indicators of information customer value are developed and measured to enhance customer-based values with efforts for making new customers and maintaining existing customers. The result is as follows: 14 customer value indicators were developed. Among the indicators, value gained versus effort, reduced time for research idea investigation and savings in time searching for equipment, and tools and materials got the highest score, which means that time-saving effects were the most important. The field study of this paper was conducted from information users in the field of national R&D, and thus future studies could be conducted in various industries in many countries to attain generalized results.

  • In this study, we compared the proctor penetration resistance test value of the concrete using CGS for Fine Aggregate and the hardness value of the Durometer. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Surface finish The Durometer C type setting time measurement value was about 45 HD, and the hardness value of the Durometer D type was about 5HD. 2) The proctor penetration resistance test value and the hardness value of the Durometer are highly correlated and are expected to be easy to use.
