The VHTR (Very High Temperature gas-cooled nuclear Reactor) has been considered as a major heat source and the most safe generation IV type reactor for mass hydrogen production to prepare for the hydrogen economy era. The VHTR satisfies goals for the GIF (Generation IV International Forum) policy such as sustainablility, economics, reliability and proliferation resistance and physical protection, and safety. As a part of a VHTR economic analysis, we have studied the VHTR construction cost and operation and maintenance cost. However, it is somewhat difficult to expect the ripple effect on the whole industry due to the lack of information about Inter-industries relationship. In many case, the ripple effect are based on experts' knowledge or uncertain qualitative assumptions. As a result, we propose quantitative analysis techniques for ripple effects such as the production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, and employment inducement effect for VHTR 600MWt${\times}$4 modules construction and operation ripple effect based on NOAK (Nth Of A Kind). Because inducement effect values have been published annually, we predict inducement effect's relation function and estimated values including production inducement effect value, added value inducement effect value, and employment inducement effect value using time series and estimated values are verified with published inducement effects' value. This paper presents a new method for the ripple effect and preliminary ripple effect consequence using a time series analysis and inter-industry table. This ripple effect analysis techniques can be applied to effect expectation analysis as well as other type reactor's ripple effect analysis including VHTR for process heat.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic ripple effect(ERE) of logistics industry by construction of Trans-Korea Railway (TKR) and present policy measures to minimize the economic loss of South Korea (SK). Research design, data and methodology: As the analysis method, exponential smoothing was used for demand forecasting, Input-Output analysis was used to estimate the economic ripple effect coefficient, and scenario analysis was used to an efficient way to invest in TKR to minimize SK's economic losses. Results: 1) the production(logistics fares) of TKR for 10 years after its completion is about 11.42 trillion won in positive relations, and 26.89 billion won in negative relations. 2) the ERE of SK in positive relations is 24.32 trillion won in production inducement effect, 8.1 trillion won in value-added inducement effect, 3.54 trillion won in import inducement effect, and 70,930 persons in employment inducement effect. But the ERE was insufficient in the negative relations. 3) SK's efficient investment method is providing materials and equipment by SK and building the TKR by North Korea in positive inter-Korea relations. Conclusions: For the successful operation of TKR, international cooperation, legalization and stable peace settlement on the Korean Peninsula are required.

This study would analyze the economic impact of the new financial input to the National Assembly FM Radio. Recently, with the 4th industrial revolution and the change in the new media paradigm, there are changes into multi-media and multi-channels, such as mobile, Internet, and OTT, etc. Reflecting these changing internal and external conditions, National Assembly Television, too, should introduce FM radio broadcasting so that the viewers can use the public services without spatial and temporal constraints. Thus, this study would conduct an analysis, estimating the budget required for investing the new government funding in the National Assembly FM Radio. As for the main analysis results, the coefficient of production inducement was 1.661; that of added value, 1.141; and that of employment inducement, 7.1. In the capital district, the effect on production inducement was 6.928 billion won; that on added value inducement, 4.758 billion won; and that on employment inducement, 28.4 persons. In addition, in the whole country, the effect on production inducement was 13.257 billion won; that on added value inducement, 9.106 billion won; and that on employment inducement, 49.7 persons.

The information security industry is increasing in importance and market size due to the development of the fourth industry such as artificial intelligence, IoT and etc. This paper was analyzed the impact of the increasing information security industry on the domestic economy by using the Input-Output table. It was classified industrial sectors into information security products and information security services industries, and then reclassified the Input-Output table into 35 industries. And it was estimated the production inducement coefficient, the value-added inducement coefficient, employment inducement coefficient, and etc. The production inducement coefficients of the information security product and service industry are each 1.571, 1.802, and the value-added inducement coefficients of them are each 0.632, 0.997, and the employment inducement coefficients of them are each 2.494, 7.361. Only the value-added inducement coefficient of the information security service industry is slightly higher than the total industry, and the remaining inducement coefficients are all lower than the total industry. In addition, the information security product industry has no the forward and backward linkage effect, and the information security service industry has no the backward linkage effect. But it has the forward linkage effect. As a result of analyzing the economic ripple effect of the information security industry, the production inducement amounted to 359.9 trillion won, value-added inducement amounted to 164.8 trillion won, and employment inducement amounted to 803 thousand people.

In this study, we have measured the effects on production inducement, added value inducement, employment inducement and backward and forward linkage regarding the knowledge service industry in Korea. It turns out that the knowledge service industry greatly contributes to increase of added value and employment creation while highly withholds to effect on production inducement and backward and forward linkage effects. In recent, government seeks out new growth driver out of the knowledge service industry. We have found the fact that its direction should be 'production growth of the knowledge service industry' through this study.

Purpose - This study analyzes an economic effect on the project that Korean government supported for the vitalization of traditional markets using an input-output model. From 2002 to 2013, the government provided 180.8 billion won for a Management Modernization Project and 2.851 trillion won for a Facility Modernization Project for vitalization of traditional markets. Research design, data, and methodology - The present study conducted inter-industry analysis by matching industries related to the Traditional Market Project for the measurement, and calculated the ripple effect of each project. Result - The results from the study showed that from 2002 to 2012, the Management Modernization Project and Facility Modernization Project showed a 296.1 billion won effect on production inducement, a 158.7 billion won value-added inducement effect, and a 3,135-person effect on employment inducement in total. From 2002 to 2013, the Facility Modernization Project showed a 6.948 trillion won effect on production inducement, a 2.1109 trillion won effect on value-added inducement, and 40,209-person of effect on employment inducement in total. Conclusions - This study provided an empirical demonstration of a clear effect of the governmental support to traditional markets on developing regional economies. In particular, this study empirically analyzed and presented that there were a considerable amount of an economic effect by region due to governmental policy support to traditional markets.

The science & technology information is core point of the knowledge based society which will accomplish the role which economic development is lead. Simultaneously, Korea will jump at powerful country of knowledge information. But, There is not analysis about affects in the economic growth and various economic structure which follows in national knowledge information system development. This research analyses the economic ripple effects, in terms of production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, import inducement effect, labor inducement effect, of national knowledge information system development in KISTI from 2001 to 2008, using an input-output analysis of the bank of Korea(2007). It also examines economic propriety using an benefit-cost analysis for national knowledge information system development.

We have done the input-output analysis to see the over all impact of flounder industry of Jeju region on the domestic economy of Korea. To do the input-output analysis, we have constructed the data set for the input-output table by using the existing data set in the "2003 input- output table of Jeju regional area" published by the joint work of Jeju branch of Korea bank and the Jeju Development Institute, together with some raw data provided by Jejudo Marine Fish-Culture Cooperative. We have also produced input coefficient of flounder industry by making flounder industrial sector exogenous, separated from intermediate demand. To summarize our empirical results, the inducement effect of production, value added, and employment of Jeju flounder aquaculture industry are 300 billion won, 116 billion won and 1,800 people respectively. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest flounder industry of Jeju region contributes powerfully to not only Jeju economy but also all over the Korea economy.

In the modern scientific R&D, the efficient acquisition, curation, analysis and visualization are core elements of the science development. The value of scientific data is very important in data intensive research. An output of scientific data is drastically increasing. However we have only each individual system of scientific data in now. Therefore We feel a lack of efficiency of scientific data. In this paper, We analyze an economic ripple effects in terms of production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, labor inducement effect and forward backward linkage effect of national scientific data center construction using an input-out analysis of the bank of Korea(2009). We also examine an economic propriety of national scientific data center construction.
