The proposed system measures business performance by considering both VA(Value-Added), which represents stakeholder's point of view and EVA(Economic Value-Added), which represents shareholder's point of view. To do so, we suggest a business performance scheme which utilizes VA per Capita (Value- Added/Workers) and EVA to Invested Capital(Economic Value-Added /Invested Capital). For effective measurement of business performance, we consider simultaneously not only quantitative financial factors such as VA, EVA and cash flow but also qualitative value drivers such as defect ratio, inventory level, customer satisfaction, enterprise culture and so on. However, we don't consider the qualitative factors due to the limited data. To demonstrate the performance of the system, we conducted a case study using financial data of Korean automobile industry over 16 years from 1981 to 1996, which is taken from database of KISFAS (Korea Investors Services Financial Analysis System).

A number of urban renewal projects are currently being implemented around the world. Current project management tools are limited in effectively dealing with numerous issues regarding management of these projects (e.g., simultaneous execution of multiple projects). As an effort to address this deficiency, an Intelligent Program Management Information System (i-PgMIS) was developed for effective management of urban renewal projects. The i-PgMIS is a web-based system consisting of various modules including cost management, schedule management, risk management, change management, eco-value engineering (EVE) and so on. Based on the recognition of increasing awareness of creating sustainable built environment, this paper focuses on the EVE module that can support eco-value analysis at program-level management. The EVE module is expected to enhance value and sustainability of construction processes throughout the whole 'program' lifecycle and further to support program feasibility study based on life cycle costing.

Frequently. lots of organizations have experienced the value discrepancy between the expected value and the realized value from IS (information systems) investments. Being positive or negative the difference is. however, the existence of discrepancy itself is an evidence of less-than-sound management and measurement of IS projects. Analyzing the factors that cause such discrepancy has become an issue of scrutiny both in academia and in practice. We model which factors. as predictors, will affect the value discrepancy, as dependent variables. in IS investment. This research will establish and examine the research model. the validity of category classification of value discrepancy factors and the perceptual level of IS value discrepancy by survey research. As a result of the survey research. the strategic alignment. the proper system design for staffs. the project planning capability. and interdepartmental task cooperation are perceived as the factors that significantly affect the value discrepancy. And known as IS success factors such as the managerial support, the change management, the standardized process. and the competitive investment are not significant factors. The research findings will provide and emphasize useful implications which factors should be deliberately investigated in IS investment both for practices considering IS deployment and for academia.

This study comprehensively draws a conclusion using factors of economic, social, and educational value and performed a survey on librarians and users to compare and analyze the difference in perception between the two groups. The result are as follows: First, Libraries had the social value not only on research and personal learning but also on establishment and vitalization of communities, provision of opportunities to share ideas between local residents and create something new, and provision of recreation to improve the residents' capability. Second, both groups evaluated the libraries' educational role and function relatively highly. In particular, the librarians scored very high for the items that the libraries' educational role was expanding, the libraries were a part of the educational system, and the libraries' value on reading and literacy was great, and the users thought that libraries had an value because they were a part of education and the educational system. Third, economic value part also obtained relatively lower scores than other values; the mean of the librarian group was 3.46 and the user group was 3.43. Among the economic values, the librarian group scored the highest for the area of economic value for local communities, and the greatest scores were given to manpower development by the users.

본 연구는 가축분뇨의 오염물질의 농도와 영상처리를 통해 얻어 낸 영상정보값과의 상관관계를 구하기 위해 수행하였다. CCD-카메라와 개인용 컴퓨터를 사용하여 축 분뇨의 영상을 받은 후 각 활성 영역에서의 영상정보와 공정시험 법으로 구한 오염물질과의 관계를 회귀분석법을 이용하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 영상정보 R값은 CDD값과 결정계수가 0.9213으로 가장 높았으며, G값은 BOD값과 결정계수가 0.9019로 가장 높게 나타났으며, B값의 경우 오염물질 농도와의 상관관계는 매우 적은 것을 알 수 있었다. 2. H값은 BOD와의 결정계수($R^2$)가 0.9496으로 매우 높게 나타났다. 이는 BOD추정에 이용가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 3. BOD농도 추종을 위해서 G값,GRAY, H값, S값, 1값 등이 결정계수가 0.8이상을 나타냈으며, 그 중 H값이 가장 높은 결정계수를 나타냈으며, 이러한 정보를 이용하여 농도 추정이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 4. COD농도 추정을 위해서 R값, GRAY값, S값이 0.8이상의 결정계수를 나타냈으며, 그 중에서 R값과의 관계가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이를 이용하여 간접적으로 농도 추정이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 5. SS농도와 영상정보값과 결정계수가 모두 0.8이하로 나타났으며, $NH_4$-N와 $NO_3$-N의 농도와 영상정보와의 결정계수는 모두 0.2이하로 매우 낮게 나타났으며, 가시광선영역의 CCD-카메라를 이용한 농도추정은 불가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

Man-machine system is an integrated total system which is linked by functions of man and machine, and the value of the system is determined by its compatability. And it is able to evaluate the system value on the aspects of utility, availability, and cost benefit. The authors previously represented the methodology of system utility using transfer functions, and this paper successively discusses the reliability of man-machine system. The reliability estimation and evaluation methodologies are briefly mentioned, and some examples are shown in this paper.

Thesedays, the reduction of hand-transmitted vibration of hand-held power tools is important issue for operators' welfare, In the study, frequency response function is measured and vibration total value is evaluated for solving the principle and effect of the BOSCH's vibration-proof handle. This handle functions as a dynamic damper and has the effect, 22% vibration total value reduction under idling condition using a system that consists of a PC with data acquisition system and LabVIEW program. The program in the system makes it possible to evaluate vibration total value according to ISO 5349. This handle offers a good example for figuring out the physical contradiction between the work efficiency and operators' health.

This paper describes the portal system architecture of large consumers for ESP(Energy Service Provider) to provide customers with various value added services such as monitoring and controlling a wide variety of electric devices in consumer's premises for optimal energy management from both consumer side and ESP side, and the prototype implementation of 2 kinds of value added services. The architecture is composed of the device portal which gathers the information from electric devices and controls them and the consumer portal which can make ESP operate the optimal energy management with two-way communications. The demand side management and energy management functions was chosen and implemented for the prototype system as value added services. The prototype was designed to create, manage, and trace the events about services between ESP and customers.

in this paper the design procedure of three phase voltage source inverter output filter is described. The 'd' axis transfer function of the filter output voltage to the load current is described with the capacitor value and the system time constant including the controller. This means that the relation between the filter capacitor value and the system time constant is given as the closed form. By using the above closed form the capacitor value can be calculated with the system time constant is given as the closed,. form the capacitor value can be calculated with the system time constant which can be implemented practically not using the try and error method. And as the effect of the load is connected.

This paper presents a method, which develops an ability of Zero-phase Overcurrent Relay. Zero-phase current is very useful factor of Fault decision in Protect Relaying system. Actually, the setting-point value of Designed Relay, using Zero-phase current, is fixed. So in the case of deciding fault, Fixed setting-point value is not suitable for changing Load. and cause errors in Distributions system. For solving this problem, This paper proposes the Changed setting point value Algorithm, which can be adaptive for changing Distributions system using Zero-phase current r.m.s. indexes. The results of simulation under Load changing and High impedance fault show that proposed algorithm is useful for changing Distributions system and decreasing errors.
