In this study, we examined the impact caused by chronic exposure to Mn by investigating the degree of brain activation based on the data of recognition activities using fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging). A questionnaire survey, blood tests, and fMRI tests were carried out with respect to two groups. Group 1 was an exposure group consisting of 15 male workers who are 34 years old or older, and who worked for longer than 10 years in a shipbuilding factory as a welder. Group 2 was a control group consisting of 15 workers in manufacturing industries with the same gender and age. The results showed that blood Mn concentration of Group 1($1.3\;{\mu}g/dl$) was significantly higher than that of Group 2($0.8\;{\mu}g/dl$)(p < 0.001), and Pallidal Index (PI) of Group 1 was also significantly higher than that of Group 2 (p < 0.001). PI value of the group whose blood Mn concentration was $0.93\;{\mu}g/dl$ or higher was significantly higher than that of the group whose blood Mn concentration was less than $0.93 \;{\mu}g/dl$ (p < 0.001). As for brain activity area within the control group, the right and the left areas of occipital cortex showed significant activity and the left area of middle temporal cortex, the right area of superior inferior frontal cortex and inferior parietal cortex showed significant activity. Unlike the control group, the exposure group showed significant activity on the right area of superior inferior temporal cortex, the left of insula area. In the comparison of brain activity areas between the two groups, the exposure group showed significantly higher activation than the control group in such areas as the right inferior temporal cortex, the left area of superior parietal cortex and occipital cortex, and cerebellum including middle temporal cortex. However, in nowhere the control group showed more activated area than the exposure group. As the final outcome, chronic exposure to Mn increased brain activity during implementation of arithmetic task. In an identical task, activation increased in superior inferior temporal cortex, and insula area. And it was discovered that brain activity increase in temporal area and occipital area was more pronounced in the exposure group than in the control group. This result suggests that chronic exposure to Mn in the work environment affects brain activation neuro-network.
The value of sensing information is decided according to positions of sensor nodes, which are very important in sensor networks. In this paper, we propose a method that estimates positions of nodes by using adjacent node information and received signal strength in a sensor network. With the proposed method, we can find positions of nodes easily because we use information that nodes have. Moreover, we can find distribution easily for all the nodes because we can measure a relative position for a node whose position is not known based on anchor nodes whose positions are already known. We utilized Use case diagram, activity diagram and State machine diagram among several diagrams of UML to implement proposed method in sensor networks that is dynamic system. We can understand exact flow for each function of the proposed method in node position estimation system can be implemented easily. And we can be confirmed that the position of estimated nodes has a little error.
A network design problem (NDP) formulated as a mathematical program is generally used to find an optimum value to minimize or to maximize some objectives such as total travel time, social benefit, or others. NDP has, however, some limits of describing components of travel patterns like activities and trip generation due to its modeling simplicity, and also it has difficulty in including attributes of regional planning. In order to cope with such limits, this paper extends NDP to the urban planning field and proposes a mathematical program which can describe the interactions between urban social activities and transportation planning. Based on this model the authors try to optimize both urban activities and the transportation system. The model developed in this paper is tested to assess its application with a real-size regional transportation network.

Lack of knowledge and digital skills is a threat to the information security of the state and society, so the formation and development of organizational culture of information security is extremely important to manage this threat. The purpose of the article is to assess the state of information security of the state and society. The research methodology is based on a quantitative statistical analysis of the information security culture according to the EU-27 2019. The theoretical basis of the study is the theory of defense motivation (PMT), which involves predicting the individual negative consequences of certain events and the desire to minimize them, which determines the motive for protection. The results show the passive behavior of EU citizens in ensuring information security, which is confirmed by the low level of participation in trainings for the development of digital skills and mastery of basic or above basic overall digital skills 56% of the EU population with a deviation of 16%. High risks to information security in the context of damage to information assets, including software and databases, have been identified. Passive behavior of the population also involves the use of standard identification procedures when using the Internet (login, password, SMS). At the same time, 69% of EU citizens are aware of methods of tracking Internet activity and access control capabilities (denial of permission to use personal data, access to geographical location, profile or content on social networking sites or shared online storage, site security checks). Phishing and illegal acquisition of personal data are the biggest threats to EU citizens. It have been identified problems related to information security: restrictions on the purchase of products, Internet banking, provision of personal information, communication, etc. The practical value of this research is the possibility of applying the results in the development of programs of education, training and public awareness of security issues.

The article reflects short-term perspectives on the use of information and communication technologies in the training of teachers for higher education. Education is characterized by conservatism, so aspects of systematic development of the industry are relevant to this cluster of social activity. Therefore, forecasting the introduction of innovative elements of ICT training is in demand for the educational environment. Forecasting educational trends are most relevant exactly in the issues of training future teachers of higher education because these specialists are actually the first to implement the acquired professional skills in pedagogical activities. The article aims to consider the existing potential of ICT-based learning, its implementation in the coming years, and promising innovative educational elements that may become relevant for the educational space in the future. The tasks of scientific exploration are to show the optimal formats of synergy between traditional and innovative models of learning. Based on already existing experience, extrapolation of conditions of educational process organization with modeling realities of using information and communication technologies in various learning dimensions should be carried out. Educational trends for the next 3 years are a rather tentative forecast because, as demonstrated by the events associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the socio-cultural space is very changeable. Consequently, the dynamism of the educational environment dictates the need for a value-based awareness of the information society and the practical use of technological advances. Thus, information and communication technologies are a manifestation of innovative educational strategies of today and become an important component along with traditional aspects of educational process organization. Future higher education teachers should develop a training strategy taking into account the expediency of the ICT component.

Information and communication technologies used in the social sphere are born due to the development of computer technologies. The main task of the distance learning process in higher education institutions is not to provide information, but to teach how to obtain and use it. The purpose of the article: to identify innovative approaches in the training of specialists in higher education institutions in the context of distance learning. Various innovative approaches to organizing the work of students of higher educational institutions in the context of distance learning are considered. Based on the conducted research, it is concluded that each of the approaches described by us outlines the study of the phenomenon of professional training of a specialist in the condition of distance learning. All the described approaches significantly contribute to the improvement of professional training of specialists, encourage students to self-improvement, professional development and enrich their professional competence in modern conditions. The emergence and spread of innovative technologies means not only a change in the activity itself and its inherent means and mechanisms of its implementation, but also a significant restructuring of goals, value orientations, specific knowledge, skills and abilities. Therefore, the current stage of the development of civilization, scientific and technological progress requires the emergence of such specialists who would have broad humanitarian thinking, would have good psychological training, would be able to build professional activities according to laws that take into account the relationship between economic productivity and creativity, as well as the desire of the individual for constant renewal, self-realization. Only such qualities will help you master the specifics of innovative technologies well. Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we showed the interest of researchers in the problem posed. The concept of competence is considered, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life tasks. Research competence implies the ability to cooperate, enter into contacts, readiness for changes, for self-determination and is an integral quality of the individual, expressed in the readiness and ability to independently search for solutions to new problems and creative transformation of reality based on a set of personal and meaningful knowledge, skills, methods of activity and value attitudes.The article offers conditions that certify the improvement of forms and methods of training students in the formation of research competence of future specialists. The use of innovative technologies contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists: students are better prepared for classes, take an active part in the assimilation of program material in laboratory classes. It is noted that this creates a subject-subject relationship between the student and the teacher, and changes the attitude of students to classes. In the process of such organization of educational activities, students are convinced of the need for knowledge and its effectiveness, learn to compare, generalize, classify, establish cause-and-effect relationships, express opinions, defend their point of view, they ensure success in their studies, and develop research competence. It is proved that in order to apply the latest technologies, the teacher himself must know them well, that is, constantly improve himself, master new methods, techniques, ideas, which will help him create new pedagogical technologies and implement them in the educational process.

In an effort to estimate secondary $PM_{10}$ concentrations and their diurnal variations at different photochemical activities, $PM_{10}$, CO, and $O_3$ concentrations obtained from the ambient air quality network located in Seoul are analyzed for the period from 2000 to 2005. In order to classify the photochemical activities on a daily basis, measured ${\Delta}O_{3,\;max-min}$ (maximum $O_3$-minimum $O_3$) and ${\int}(hv)dt$ which represents accumulated daily insolation, were used to classify each day into three regimes: 1) low photochemical reactivity; ${\Delta}O_{3,\;max-min}\;{\leq}\;40\;ppb$, and ${\int}(hv)dt\;{\leq}\;4000\;W/m^2$, 2) moderate photochemical reactivity; $40\;ppb\;<\;{\Delta}O_{3,\;max-min}\;{\leq}\;60\;ppb$, and $4000\;{\leq}\;{\int}(hv)de\;{\leq}\;6000\;W/m^2$, and 3) high photochemical reactivity; ${\Delta}O_{3,\;max-min}\;>\;60\;ppb$, and ${\int}(hv)dt\;{\geq}\;6000\;W/m^2$. The ratio of ($PM_{10}$/CO) obtained at low photochemical activity regime was used as an index of tracer for the estimation of secondary $PM_{10}$ at higher photochemical activity regimes. The results show that the estimated secondary $PM_{10}$ concentrations for moderate and high photochemical regimes are found to be 18.8% ($10.9\;{\mu}g/m^3$), and 35.0% ($26.2\;{\mu}g/m^3$), respectively. Diurnal variation of secondary $PM_{10}$ for the moderate photochemical regime shows weak but noticeable patterns. However, the highly activated photochemical regime shows strong diurnal variations of secondary $PM_{10}$ concentrations with the maximum value of $35.1\;{\mu}g/m^3$ at 1300LST.
To provide adaptively video streaming services on network environment, video transcoding is introduced. The one of transcoding methods is the frame-rate conversion. it needs a re-estimation about a motion vector of the frame to refer a skipping frame. This re-estimation makes higher the computational complexity in video transcoding. To reduce the computational complexity of a motion vector refinement, this paper proposes a region & activity based motion vector composition scheme that refine the moving vector of a skipping frame. This scheme composes each motion vector from the weight based on the activity information of a macroblock and the site of the overlapped area. The experiment result shows that RABVC has a higher PSNR than the value of existing weight-based motion vector selection schemes though the computational complexity of our scheme is similar to that of other schemes.
The purpose of this research was analyzing pre-post change of concept recognition structure about happiness and activity in which medical school students feel happiness, in order to develop such curriculum accordingly. Research subjects included a total of 36 sophomores attending medical school, and a day reconstruction method and network analysis were applied. According to the research finding, while medical school students were experiencing a lot of happiness while eating/talking and doing leisure activities, the frequency of feeling happiness through learning activities was shown to be low. Words that expressed happiness before and after were similar in many parts and 'economy' showed the highest degree centrality before and 'work' showed the highest degree centrality after. Because the structure of the concept about happiness was divided from 1 group into 4 groups including one's work, positive self, health of family, value about life etc., perception of the concept about happiness was changed from the concept about superficial happiness to the concept about actual happiness. Therefore, in order for prospective doctors who will treat human health to establish the concept and value about happiness properly, education about happiness is necessary and for this, curriculum related to happiness must be developed systematically.
