Effective Valence Shell Hamiltonian Calculations on Spin-Orbit Coupling of SiH, SiH+, and SiH2+

  • Recently the ab initio effective valence shell Hamiltonian method $H^v$ has been extended to treat spin-orbit coupling in atoms or molecules. The quasidegenerate many-body perturbation theory based $H^v$ method has an advantage of determining the spin-orbit coupling energies of all valence states for both the neutral species and its ions with a similar accuracy from a single computation of the effective spin-orbit coupling operator. The new spin-orbit $H^v$ method is applied to calculating the fine structure splittings of the valence states of SiH, $SiH^+$, and $SiH^{2+}$ not only to assess the accuracy of the method but also to investigate the spin-orbit interaction of highly excited states of SiH species. The computed spin-orbit splittings for ground states are in good agreement with experiment and the few available ab initio computations. The ordering of fine structure levels of the bound and quasi-bound spin-orbit coupled valence states of SiH and its ions, for which neither experiment nor theory is available, is predicted.

감성모델을 이용한 음악 탐색 인터페이스 (Music Exploring Interface using Emotional Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 감성 모델을 이용하여 음악을 정렬한 후, 이를 바탕으로 음악을 탐색하는 인터페이스를 제안한다. 먼저 다양한 곡들에 대한 Arousal-Valence 요소를 설문조사 한 후, 곡들의 다양한 audio feature 들과 Arousal-Valence 요소들간의 상관관계를 계산하여, AV모델을 수립한다. 그 후, 다양한 음악들을 수립된 AV모델에 대하여 정렬을 하여 음악을 배치한 후, 이를 마우스를 이용하여 탐색하는 인터페이스를 제공한다. 기존의 관련 인터페이스보다 더욱 직관적으로 원하는 곡을 선택할 수 있게 하기 위해서, 마우스의 위치에 따라서 여러 음악들이 페이드 인/아웃 되게 하였으며, 여러 가지 모드의 인터페이스를 제공하여, 사용자가 가장 편리한 인터페이스를 사용할 수 있게 하였다. 사용자는 본 음악 탐색 인터페이스를 이용하여, 더욱 감정적으로 원하는 음악을 쉽게 찾을 수 있게 된다.

  • The present paper focuses on the interaction between lexical-semantic information and affective prosody. The previous studies showed that the influence of lexical-semantic information on the affective evaluation of the prosody was relatively clear, but the influence of emotional prosody on the word evaluation remains still ambiguous. In the present, we explore whether affective prosody influence on the evaluation of affective meaning of a word and vice versa, using more ecological stimulus (sentences) than simple words. We asked participants to evaluate the emotional valence of the sentences which were recorded with affective prosody (negative, neutral, and positive) in Experiment 1 and the emotional valence of their prosodies in Experiment 2. The results showed that the emotional valence of prosody can influence on the emotional evaluation of sentences and vice versa. Interestingly, the positive prosody is likely to be more responsible to this interaction.

정서 인지를 위한 뇌파 전극 위치 및 주파수 특징 분석 (Analysis of Electroencephalogram Electrode Position and Spectral Feature for Emotion Recognition)

  • This paper presents a statistical analysis method for the selection of electroencephalogram (EEG) electrode positions and spectral features to recognize emotion, where emotional valence and arousal are classified into three and two levels, respectively. Ten experiments for a subject were performed under three categorized IAPS (International Affective Picture System) pictures, i.e., high valence and high arousal, medium valence and low arousal, and low valence and high arousal. The electroencephalogram was recorded from 12 sites according to the international 10~20 system referenced to Cz. The statistical analysis approach using ANOVA with Tukey's HSD is employed to identify statistically significant EEG electrode positions and spectral features in the emotion recognition.

  • 색각은 광 수용체인 3개 R. G. B cone의 파장흡수와 대립과정의 r-g, y-b 채널에 의해 이루어진다. 전기적 회로에 의한 색각 이상 mechanism은 photo cell, relay switch, transformer로 구성하였다. 추체(cone)의 R 또는 G가 결손 된 경우 y-b chromic valence 함수가 되고, 추체의 B가 결손 된 경우는 r-g chromic valence 함수가 되어 색각 이상 mechanism을 잘 적용된다.

Electronic Spectroscopy and Structure of CLF

  • Optical-optical double resonance experiments have been used to identify and characterize five ion-pair states and several of the bound and repulsive valence states of ClF. This report provides a description of these experiments for $^{35}CIF$ and $^{37}CIF$, and a summary of the current knowledge of the valence and ion-pair states. The important role of perturbations among the rovibronic levels of the bound valence states and their utilization in the double resonance technique is discussed. The ion-pair states of the same symmetry, ${\Omega}$=$0^+$ (E and f) and 1( $\beta$ and G) interact very strongly and the spectroscopy of these states is anomalous and, hence, interesting. Comparison is made to some recent ab initio calculations for ClF. One possible explanation of the irregular vibrational energy levels and rotational constants of the ion-pair states of $O^+$ and 1 symmetry is a crossing of the diabatic potentials of these states. Some currently unresolved questions about ClF spectroscopy are posed for future work. Where appropriate, analogy is made between the electronic states of ClF and the corresponding valence and ion-pair states of $Cl_2.$.

과제 무관련 정서 점화가 신념편향에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of task-irrelevant affective priming on belief-bias)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과제와 무관련한 정서 자극에 의한 점화가 고차인지과정에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 보다 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 과제와 직접적으로 관련이 없는 정서 점화 자극이 삼단논법추론 과제의 수행에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 실험 1에서는 점화 자극인 IAPS 사진의 정서차원을 통제하고 각성차원을 조작하였으며 실험 2에서는 IAPS 사진의 각성차원을 통제하고 정서차원을 조작하였다. 두 실험 모두에서 과제와 무관련한 정서 점화 자극이 제시된 뒤에 세 개의 문장으로 이루어진 삼단논법추론 과제가 제시되었으며 참가자들의 추론 정확률이 측정되었다. 점화 자극의 정서차원은 결론 문장의 타당성과 신념에 따른 신념편향(belief-bias)에 영향을 미쳤으나 점화 자극의 각성차원은 추론에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 특히 긍정정서는 신념 편향을 감소시켜 논리적, 분석적 처리를 향상 시켰으나 각성차원은 추론 과제 수행에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과는 정서차원과 각성차원이 고차인지능력에 독립적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다.

수중 탄산칼슘 입자의 전기적 거동에 미치는 무기염류의 영향 (The Effect of Inorganic Electrolyte on the Electrokinetic Features of Calcium Carbonate Particles in Aqueous Environment)

  • The electrokinetic potential of $CaCO_3$, which takes an important part in aquatic system, has been measured and the variation of total energy between $CaCO_3$ particles with the distance of particles was estimated based on DLVO theory. The electrokinetic potential of particles was observed to increase to positive direction as the charge valence of cations which was added to suspension was increased. Also, the total interaction energy between particles was estimated to be more negative as the charge valence of cation was higher and its concentrations was raised. When a mixture of cations with different charge valences was added, the influence of cation with a higher charge valence was more significant on the total interaction energy between particles. When anion was added to the suspension of $CaCO_3$, the total energy estimated by DLVO theory was examined to move to positive direction and the electrokinetic potential of particles became more negative. Likewise cations, the effect of anions on the electrokinetic potential of particles and total interaction energy between them was observed to be proportional to their charge valence and the influence of the mixture of anions with different charge valence became more remarkable as the mixing ratio of the anion with a higher charge valence was increased.
