  • The purpose of this study is to investigate tendencies on land use by grasping the characteristics of changes of use at the borders of single-detached housing area for planning single-detached housing area in the future. It is divided the borders of detached housing areas into three types, educational facility, parks and green spaces, and apartment complex, and then analyzed the characteristics of each location after a field study. It is summarized as follows. First, warehouses and vacant sites were distributed in adjacent borders near parks and green areas. Second, there were stationery and flour-based meal stores in adjacent borders near educational facilities, suitable for students' interest and motion patterns. Third, there were realty dealers, food stores, and laundries which provide the dwellers with service in adjacent borders near multi-family housing.

전로슬래그를 이용한 Modified Belite Cement의 제조에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preparation of Modified Belite Cement Using Converter Slag)

  • In order to prepare the modified belite (C2S-C4A3S-C4AF-CS) cement with low energy, clinkers were synthesized by converter slag, limestone, gypsum and clay. The synthesized clinkers were characterized and the hydration processes were investigated by XRD, SEM and microconduction calorimetry. The hydrates were mainly C-S-H and ettringite. The needle-like ettringite formed by the hydration of C4A3S at the early stage of hydration was filled in the inner vacant spaces of the hardened body and it might contribute to the rapid-hardening phenomena. The hardened body became stronger due to the hydration of C2S at the later period. The compressive strengths of the cement-3 mortars hydrated for 3, 7 and 28 days were 115, 128 and 211 Kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, respectively.

한국의 하계 동결현상 분포지에 관한 지형학적 연구 (A Geomorphological Study on the Distribution Areas of Freezing during Summer Season in Korea)

  • 한국에는 하계 동결현상이라는 특수기상이 나타나는 곳이 수 군데 존재한다. 특히 경남 밀양의 천황산 얼음골과 경북 의성 법계계곡의 빙혈 그리고 경북 청송의 얼음골은 이러한 기상적 특성 때문에 관광지로 유명한 곳이다. 본 연구에서는 한국 하계 동결현상 3대 분포지로 볼 수 있는 상기의 지역들을 대상으로 기존의 미기상학적 수문학적 연구를 참고하여 지형학적 지질학적 측면에서 접근하여 다음의 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 하계 동결현상 분포지에서 볼 수 있는 지형 및 지질적특성은 두터운 거력 퇴적물로 구성된 애추사면의 존재, 일사량이 적은 북향사면이거나 또는 비교적 깊은 곡벽으로 둘러 쌓여 상대적으로 일사량이 적은 지역, 안산암 또는 유문암 등의 화산암 질로 구성되는 거력 퇴적물의 특성 등이다. 둘째, 하계 동결현상을 야기시키는 시스템으로서 얼음굴은 공기의 유통이 자유로움 공간이 많이 존재하며, 일부 공간은 매우 넓어 동굴을 형성하며 부분적으로 지하수계와 연결되어 있는 경우를 가정할 수 있다. 넷째, 하계 동결현상이 나타나기 위해서는 얼음굴 내에 있는 지하수제의 부분적 동결이 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 두 가지의 가정이 요구된다. 하나는 외부로부터 얼음굴로 유입된 공기의 기화열에 의한 지하수제의 급랭이며, 또 다른 하나는 지난 겨울 동안 동결된 지하수제가 특수한 지형적 영향으로 동결상태가 장기간 지속되어야 한다. 그러나 명확한 원인은 얼음굴에 대한 시추작업을 통해서 만이 가능할 것이다.

켄 로치(Ken Loach)의 <레이닝 스톤(Raining Stones)>(1993)에 구성된 일상과 소외에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Everyday Life and Alienation Constructed in (Ken Loach, 1993))

  • 이 글은 이른바 '사회주의 리얼리즘 영화'를 대표하는 감독으로 알려진 켄 로치의 <레이닝 스톤>(1993)을 연구대상으로 선정해 일상(생활)과 소외의 논제를 탐구하고자 했다. 이를 위해 일상(생활), 일상성, 사회 공간, 일상공간, 소외와 관련된 주요 이론들과 앙리 르페브르의 논의를 이론적 배경이자 연구방법론으로 활용했다. 연구결과에 의하면, 켄 로치 감독은 <레이닝 스톤>의 공터나 주차장 같은 공적인 사회공간과 가정(집) 등의 사적인 일상 공간에서 발생하는 자본주의의 병폐들을 비판함으로써 일상(생활)의 변혁 가능성을 제시한다. 또한 '돌비'를 맞을 수밖에 없는 노동자계급의 소외가 당연시되는 현실과 그런 현실로부터의 탈소외가 일상(생활)에서 이루어질 수 있다는 역설을 강조하기도 한다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 일상의 사회 공간이 일상(생활)의 일상성을 변화시킬 수 있는 기반임을 뜻한다고 할 수 있다.

$C_4A_3\bar{S}$-Calciumsicate계 크링커의 수화반응 (Hydration of $C_4A_3\bar{S}$-Calciumsicate Clinker)

  • The clinckers were obtained when a raw mixture consisted of limestone, slags and gypsum was burned at 134$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes, and 128$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes adding $CaF_2$ as a flux. The principal compounds of these clinkers were $C_3S_2$, $\beta-C_2S$, $C_1A_3{\bar{S}}$. To investigate hydration behavior, cements were made and hydrated at constant humidity cabinet (W/C=0.5 20$\pm 1^{\circ}C$). X-ray diffractometer, SEM, and conduction calorimeter were employed to examine the hydration behavior. The hydrates were mainly C-S-H, ettringite, $Ca(OH)_2$. By the hydration of $C_3S$ and $C_4A_3\bar{S}$, the needle-like ettringite filling the inner vacant spaces of the hardened body might contribute to the rapid-hardening and high-strength phenomena. Furthermore, the hardened body became stronger due to the hydration of $C_2S$ at later period. The addition of granulated blastfurnace slags have a potential to be a blended cement.

First, there were stationery and flour-based meal stores in adjacent borders near educational facilities, suitable for students' interest and motion patterns, and it is required to consider about frequent children's action in the street. Second, there are many facilities for park users and residents, such as educational institutes and restaurants in adjacent to borders near parks. In borders neighboring buffer green belt areas, warehouses and vacant sites were mainly distributed. And the revitalization of streets was lower than others, because a road was used as a parking space. Third, there were realty dealers, food stores, and laundries which provide the dwellers with service in adjacent borders near multi-family housing.

다공성 탄소나노섬유 지지체에 담지된 백금촉매의 메탄올 산화 특성 연구 (Methanol Electro-Oxidation Properties of Pt Electro-Catalysts Embedded by Porous Carbon Nanofiber Supports)

  • To improve the methanol electro-oxidation in direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs), Pt electrocatalysts embedded on porous carbon nanofibers(CNFs) were synthesized by electrospinning followed by a reduction method. To fabricate the porous CNFs, we prepared three types of porous CNFs using three different amount of a styrene-co-acrylonitrile(SAN) polymer: 0.2 wt%, 0.5 wt%, and 1 wt%, respectively. A SAN polymer, which provides vacant spaces in porous CNFs, was decomposed and burn out during the carbonization. The structure and morphology of the samples were examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy and their surface area were measured using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET). The crystallinities and chemical compositions of the samples were examined using X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The electrochemical properties on the methanol electro-oxidation were characterized using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. Pt electrocatalysts embedded on porous CNFs containing 0.5 wt% SAN polymer exhibited the improved methanol oxidation and electrocatalytic stability compared to Pt/conventional CNFs and commercial Pt/C(40 wt% Pt on Vulcan carbon, E-TEK).

폴리이미드에 스퍼터 증착한 Cu-Cr, Cu-Ti 합금박막의 열처리 전후의 접착력과 미세구조 (Microsstructure of Sputter-Deposited and Annealed Cu-Cr, Cu-Ti Alloy Films on Polyimide Substrate and Their Adhesion Property)

  • Both Cu-Cr and Cu-Ti alloy films with different composition were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering onto polyimide substrate and their adhesion and microstructure were observed. In addition, the effect of heat treatment at $400^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours on the variation of adhesion properties and on the changess of microstructure were investigated. Cu-Cr alloy films have crystalline structure of either for or bcc phase depending on the composition of the film. However, the Cu-Ti alloy film forms fcc phase at low Ti concentration while it forms an amorphous phase as the Ti concentration in the films is increased to more than 25at.%. TEM analysis reveal that the microstructure of Cu-Cr and Cu-Ti films forms an open structure with vacant spaces. The adhesion between Cu-Cr, Cu-Ti alloy films and polyimide substrate is relatively good before the heat treatment, but is noticeably reduced after the heat treatment. In particular, the adhesion strength is significantly reduced in the Cu-Ti alloy films after the heat treatment. The reduction of adhesion strength after the heat treatment is identified to relate with the formation of oxide phases at the metal/polyimide interface by AES(Auger Electron Spectroscopy).

고층아파트단지 필로티 공간과 옥외단위공간의 통합도(Integration) 비교 분석 연구 -화성동탄신도시아파트를 중심으로- (Study of the Integration Comparison Analysis of Pilotis Space and Outdoor Unit Space in an Apartment Complex -Focused on the Hwaseong Dongtan Newtown Area-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근 고층아파트 단지 내에서 주요 계획요소로 자주 채택되고 있는 저층부 필로티 공간과 주요 옥외단위공간들의 통합도 값을 단지별 전체 통합도 평균값과 비교하여 필로티 공간의 통합도 값이 다른 옥외공간들과 비교할 때 어느 정도의 통합도 위상을 갖는지 분석하는 것이며, 또한 다음 단계의 연구인 필로티 공간 이용행태 관찰 및 이용빈도 조사의 기초자료로 삼는데 있다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고층아파트 단지의 필로티 공간을 포함한 주요 옥외단위공간들 중 '단지출입구' 또는 '광장' 공간이 가장 높은 통합도 값을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 고층아파트 단지의 필로티 공간 통합도 값이 다른 주요 옥외단위공간들의 통합도 값보다 대체적으로 낮은 경향을 보이고 있다. 세째, 고층아파트 단지의 필로티 공간들중 동출입구의 기능이 없는 '돌출형 출입 + 필로티 부가형' 유형의 공간일 경우 주민들의 공간이용률이 현격하게 저조하여 음성적 공간화 및 공동화 현상이 발생될 가능성이 크다고 볼 수 있다.

중국(中國) 연변지구(延邊地區) 조선족(朝鮮族)마을의 구성(構成) 룡정시 지신향 장재촌을 대상으로 (Tie Spatial Structure of Ch'ang-ts'ai-ts'un Village A Case Study on a Rural Village of Korean Immigrants in Yen-pien Area of China)

  • Ch'ang-Ts'al-Ts'un is a rural Village near Lung-jing City in Yen-pien Korean Autonomous Province of China. It was formed about 100 years ago by Korean Immigrants and has been developed maintaing the characteristics of traditional Korean architecture. Therefore investigating the spatial structure of this village is a meanigful work to confirm and explore one branch of Korean architecture. This study aims at analyzing the spatial structure of the village using direct data collected from the field work and indirect data from books and maps. The field work consists of on-the-site survey of the village layout, interviews of residents, observation notes and photography. Ch'ang-Ts'ai-Ts'un is located 360-370 m high above the sea level and at the side of a long valley. A river flows in the middle of the valley and relatively flat arable land exists at the both sides of the river. The location of the village related to the surrounding river and mountains suggests that the site of the village was chosen according to Feng-Shui, Chinese and Korean traditional architectural theory. The main direction of the house layouts is South-western. The village has been growing gradually until today. Therefore it is meaningful to make the village layout before Liberation(1946 A.D.) because the characteristics of Korean architecture prevailed more in that period. The area of the previous village is limited to the west side of the creek. New houses were later added to the east of the creek, forming a 'New Village'. Previously the village was composed of 3 small villages: Up, Middle and Down. Also the main access roads connecting the village with the neighboring villages were penetrating the village transversely. Presently the main access road comes to the village longitudinally from the main highway located in front of the village. The retrospective layout shows the existence of well-formed Territory, Places and Axes, thus suggesting a coherent Micro-cosmos. The boundary of imaginery territory perceived by present residents could be defined by linking conspicous outside places sorrounding the village such as Five-mountains, Front-mountain, Shin-dong village, Standing-rock, Rear-mountain and Myong-dong village. Inside the territory there are also the important places such as Bus-stop, Memorial tower of patriots, Road-maitenance building and the village itself. And inside it 5 transverse and 1 longitudinal axes exist in the form of river, roads and mountains. The perceived spatial structure of the village formed by Places, Axes and Territory is geometrical and well-balanced and suggests this village is fit for human settlement. The administrative area of the village is about 738 ha, 27 % of which is cultivated land and the rest is mountain area. Initially the village and surrounndings were covered with natural forest But the trees have been gradually cut down for building and warning houses, resulting in the present barren and artificial landscape with bare mountains and cultivated land. At present the area of the village occupied by houses is wedge-shaped, 600 m wide and 220 m deep in its maximum. The total area of the village is $122,175m^{2}$. The area and the rate of each sub-division arc as follow. 116 house-lots $91,465m^{2}$ (74.9 %) Land for public buildings and shops $2,980m^{2}$ (2.4 %) Roads $17,106m^{2}$ (14.0 %) Creek $1,356m^{2}$ (1.1 %) Vacant spaces and others $9,268m^{2}$ (7.6 %) TOTAL $122,175m^{2}$ (100.0 %) Each lot is fenced around with vertical wooden pannels 1.5-1.8 m high and each house is located to the backside of the lot. The open space of a lot is sub-divided into three areas using the same wooden fence: Front yard, Back yard and Access area. Front and back yards are generally used for crop-cultivation, the custom of which is rare in Korea. The number of lots is 116 and the average size of area is $694.7m^{2}$. Outdoor spaces in the village such as roads, vacant spaces, front yard of the cultural hall, front yard of shops and spacse around the creek are good 'behavioral settings' frequently used by residents for play, chatting, drinking and movie-watching. The road system of the village is net-shaped, having T-junctions in intersections. The road could be graded to 4 categories according to their functions: Access roads, Inner trunk roads, Connecting roads and Culs-de-sac. The total length of the road inside the village is 3,709 m and the average width is 4.6 m. The main direction of the road in the village is NNE-SSE and ESE-WNW, crossing with right angles. Conclusively, the spatial structure of Ch'ang-Ts'ai-Ts'un village consists of various components in different dimensions and these components form a coherent structure in each dimension. Therefore the village has a proper spatial structure meaningful and appropriate for human living.
