Secure Internet Phone Using IPSec (IPSec을 이용한 음성 보안 시스템)

  • An efficient encryption mechanism for transmitting voice packets on the Internet was proposed in this study. The VPN approach of encrypting all the packets through a gateway increases delay and delay jitter that may degrade the quality of service (QoS) in real-time communications. A user-controlled secure Internet phone, therefore. was designed and implemented. The secure phone enables the user to apply encryption to his own call when necessary, and reduces security overheads on the gateway.

  • When broadcasters want immediately a variety of VOD files in a distributed server of them data centers and away contents provider, CPs of different platform to exchange high-quality HD, 3DTV video and other video files over the IP networks of high-performance that can be transferred quickly and must be configured quickly. This paper, by using an optional encryption method to complement a QoS and security of public network, suggests high speed and secure content transmission protocol such as VPN(Virtual Private Network) for large video files and big data. As configured high performance VPN, end to end devices use the best of available resources over public network by parallel transfer protocol and the secure content delivery network.

  • 최근 VPN의 구축이 늘어남에 따라, 안전한 VPN을 구축하는 데 있어 강력한 보안기능과 터널기능을 제공하는 핵심 프로토콜인 IPsec의 중요성은 더욱 부각되고 있다. 현재 사용되고 있는 IKE 프로토콜은 기능이 복잡하고 표준규격의 기술(description)이 난해해서 이를 구현한 이기종 제품간에 상호 연동성이 아직까지도 제대로 확보되지 않고 있다. 또한 서비스거부공격에 대한 취약점을 드러내고 있으므로 이들에 대한 보완이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이 취약점을 보완하기 위하여 제안된 두 개의 프로토콜 IKEv2와 JEK에 대한 소개와 두 프로토콜의 비교를 한 후, 차세대 키관리 프로토콜로 적합한 것은 이 중 어떤 프로토콜인지 고려해본다.

  • The VoIP(Voice over IP) has been worldwide used and already put to practical use in many fields. However, it is needed to ensure secret of VoIP call in a special situation. It is relatively difficult to eavesdrop the commonly used PSTN in that it is connected with 1:1 circuit. However, it is difficult to ensure the secret of call on Internet because many users can connect to the Internet at the same time. Therefore, this paper suggests a new model of Internet telephone for eavesdrop prevention enabling VoIP(using SIP protocol) to use the VPN protocol and establish the probability of practical use comparing it with Internet telephone.

  • For reliability and confidentiality of information security systems, the security engineering methodologies are accepted in many organizations. To improve the effectiveness of security engineering, this paper suggests a security methodology ISEM, which considers both product assurance and production processes, takes advantages in terms of quality and cost. To verify the effectiveness of ISEM, this paper introduces the concepts of quality loss, and compares the development costs and quality losses between ISEM and CC through the development of VPN system.

  • The importance of networking capability is gaining more weight for enterprise business and high-speed Internet access with guaranteed security management is essential to companies. This paper presents a unified network security management solution to support high-speed Internet access, active security management, traffic classification and control. The presented system provides firewall, VPN, intrusion detection, contents filtering, traffic management, QoS management, and history log functions in unified manner implemented in a single appliance device located at the edge of enterprise networks. This will enable cost effective unified network security solution to companies.

  • Although it is relatively difficult to eavesdrop the commonly used PSTN in that it is connected with direct circuit, it is difficult to ensure the secret of call on Internet because many users can connect to the Internet at the same time. However, it is needed to ensure secret of voice call in a special situation. Due to the fact that many users can connect to the internet at the same time, VoIP can always be in a defenseless state by hackers. Therefore, in this paper, we have developed the increased voice security internet telephone terminal and measured conversation quality by adopting VPN PPTP based on SIP and using tunnel method in transmitting voice data to prevent eavesdrop of internet telephone.

  • Mobile devices use VPN solution to transfer information securely through open network in mobile office environment. In this paper, we propose Pre_Buffered mechanism that improves the throughput of IPSec VPN using low performance H/W crypto Token. Pre_Buffered method precompute key stream, store them in Buffer and use them in IPSec engine for IP packet processing. Moreover, Design, analysis, and experimental results prove the efficiency and feasibility of our proposed method.

  • The next generation IP-PBX system are demanding multimedia facility to carry out UC(Unified Communication) and voice security also. Therefore, in this paper, we have developed the integrated solution of IP-PBX for the voice security by adopting VPN IPsec based on SIP using tunnel method in transmitting voice data to prevent eavesdrop of voice data and have shared between communication system based on PC and PSTN terminals. In particular, We have developed a video conference, private switching, distributed processing and measured telephone conversation quality. This IP-PBX that is connected Soft-phone provide various optional services.
