ON THE EXISTENCE OF POSITIVE SOLUTION FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR ELLIPTIC SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE PARAMETERS AND SINGULAR WEIGHTS

  • This study concerns the existence of positive solution for the following nonlinear system $$\{-div(|x|^{-ap}|{\nabla}u|^{p-2}{\nabla}u)=|x|^{-(a+1)p+c_1}({\alpha}_1f(v)+{\beta}_1h(u)),x{\in}{\Omega},\\-div(|x|^{-bq}|{\nabla}v|q^{-2}{\nabla}v)=|x|^{-(b+1)q+c_2}({\alpha}_2g(u)+{\beta}_2k(v)),x{\in}{\Omega},\\u=v=0,x{\in}{\partial}{\Omega}$$, where ${\Omega}$ is a bounded smooth domain of $\mathbb{R}^N$ with $0{\in}{\Omega}$, 1 < $p,q$ < N, $0{{\leq}}a<\frac{N-p}{p}$, $0{{\leq}}b<\frac{N-q}{q}$ and $c_1$, $c_2$, ${\alpha}_1$, ${\alpha}_2$, ${\beta}_1$, ${\beta}_2$ are positive parameters. Here $f,g,h,k$ : $[0,{\infty}){\rightarrow}[0,{\infty})$ are nondecresing continuous functions and $$\lim_{s{\rightarrow}{\infty}}\frac{f(Ag(s)^{\frac{1}{q-1}})}{s^{p-1}}=0$$ for every A > 0. We discuss the existence of positive solution when $f,g,h$ and $k$ satisfy certain additional conditions. We use the method of sub-super solutions to establish our results.

  • In this paper, we consider the biharmonic elliptic systems of the form $$\{{\Delta}^2u=F_u(u,v)+{\lambda}{\mid}u{\mid}^{q-2}u,\;x{\in}{\Omega},\\{\Delta}^2v=F_v(u,v)+{\delta}{\mid}v{\mid}^{q-2}v,\;x{\in}{\Omega},\\u=\frac{{\partial}u}{{\partial}n}=0,\; v=\frac{{\partial}v}{{\partial}n}=0,\;x{\in}{\partial}{\Omega},$$, where ${\Omega}{\subset}\mathbb{R}^N$ is a bounded domain with smooth boundary ${\partial}{\Omega}$, ${\Delta}^2$ is the biharmonic operator, $N{\geq}5$, $2{\leq}q$ < $2^*$, $2^*=\frac{2N}{N-4}$ denotes the critical Sobolev exponent, $F{\in}C^1(\mathbb{R}^2,\mathbb{R}^+)$ is homogeneous function of degree $2^*$. By using the variational methods and the Ljusternik-Schnirelmann theory, we obtain multiplicity result of nontrivial solutions under certain hypotheses on ${\lambda}$ and ${\delta}$.

  • In [6] we proved that if a nals X is reflexive, then $X = W_X + V_X$ . In this paper we show that, for a split nals $X = W_X + V_X$, X is reflecxive if and only if $V_X$ and $W_X$ are reflcxive.

  • It is proved that $k[X_1,{\ldots},X_v ]$ localized at the ideal ($X_1,{\ldots},X_v$ ), where k is a field and $X_1,{\ldots},X_v$ indeterminates, is not weakly quasi-complete for $v{\geq}2$, thus proving a conjecture of D. D. Anderson and solving a problem from "Open Problems in Commutative Ring Theory" by Cahen, Fontana, Frisch, and Glaz.

  • We find the distributional solutions of the Wilson's functional equations $$u{\circ}T+u{\circ}T^{\sigma}-2u{\otimes}v=0,\\u{\circ}T+u{\circ}T^{\sigma}-2v{\otimes}u=0,$$ where $u,v{\in}{\mathcal{D}}^{\prime}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, the space of Schwartz distributions, T(x, y) = x + y, $T^{\sigma}(x,y)=x+{\sigma}y$, $x,y{\in}{\mathbb{R}}^n$, ${\sigma}$ an involution, and ${\circ}$, ${\otimes}$ are pullback and tensor product of distributions, respectively. As a consequence, we solve the $Erd{\ddot{o}}s$' problem for the Wilson's functional equations in the class of locally integrable functions. We also consider the Ulam-Hyers stability of the classical Wilson's functional equations $$f(x+y)+f(x+{\sigma}y)=2f(x)g(y),\\f(x+y)+f(x+{\sigma}y)=2g(x)f(y)$$ in the class of Lebesgue measurable functions.

Electrochemical Properties of $Li_xV_3O_8$ Composite Cathode for All-solid state Rechargeable Battery (고체전지용 $Li_xV_3O_8$ Composite 정극의 전기화학적 특성)

  • 본 논문에서는 고체 리듐 전지를 개발하기 위하여 poly(ethylene oxide) [PEO] 에 $LiClO_4$, poly (vinylidene fluoride) [PVDF] 및 가소제로 propylene carbonate [PC] 와 ethylene carbonate[EC] 등을 혼합여 고분자 저해질을 제조하였다. 또한 고체 리듐 전지용 정극으로써 우수한 특성이 기대되는 $Li_xV_3O_8$을 졸-겔법에 의해 합성하여 $Li_xV_3O_8$SPE/Li cell 의 전기화학적 특성을 측정하였다. 고분자 matrix는 PEO와 PVDE를 혼합 사용한 결과 $PEO_4 PVDF_4LiCIO_4PC_5EC_5$ 고분자 전해질이 상온에서 $5.2 {\times} 10{-3}$ S/cm 의 높은 이온 전도도를 나타냈으며 리듐 이온 transference number는 0.3이었다. 졸-겔법에 의해 제조된 $Li_xV_3O_8$을 사용한 $Li_xV_3O_8$SPE/Li cell의 방전시 cell 저항이 방전 초기에는 비소한 증가를 하다가 방전 말기 전압인 2.0V에서 크게 증가하였다. $Li_xV_3O_8$ composite 정극의 첫 번째 방전 용량은 295㎃h/g이었으며 8번째 충방전 싸이클부터 방전 용량이 안정화 되었고 15번째 방전 용량도 212㎃h/g으로 고체 전지용 정극으로써 우수한 특성을 보였다.

Development of Collision Prevention Usage Scenario based on Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication of Autonomous Vehicles (자율주행 차량의 차량 대 차량 통신에 기반한 충돌방지 활용 시나리오 개발)

  • Self-driving vehicles are a type of smart vehicle with the help of ICT technology, which means a vehicle that operates without the intervention of a driver.Vehicles with vehicle safety communication technology (V2X) applied use information detected from various sensors or other vehicles/infrastructures to enable the smart vehicle to accurately and quickly predict the driver's potential danger situation, contributing to more stable autonomous driving. In this paper, among V2X communication technologies, a vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) simulation communication technology is used to present a scenario for preventing collisions in autonomous vehicles. A vehicle collision prevention system based on V2V simulated communication was implemented and the suggested collision prevention application scenario was demonstrated. The suggested collision prevention utilization scenario can be considered as one application case of V2V communication technologies that are currently being developed/applied.

Effects of A-Site and B-Site Vacancies on Structural and Dielectric Properties of PLZT Ceramics

  • PLZT ceramics having two nominal compositions, $Pb_{1-3x/2}La_xV_{x/2}(Zr_{03}Ti_{03})O_3$ and $Pb_{1-x}La_x(Zr_{0.2}Ti_{0.5})_{1-x/4}V_{x/4}O_3$ (V: vacancy) with x=0.00~0.30, were prepared. The physical, structural, and dielectric properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and measurements of bulk density and dielectric constant. The two series with A-stie and B-site vacancies showed different physical, structural, dielectric properties, and, specially, Curie temperature. In comparison to PLZT with B-site vacancies, PLZT with A-site vacancies showed high Curie temperatures and low maxima of dielectric constant. Consequently, it is evident that the properties of PLZT ceramics depend on the vacancy formula adopted as a batch composition in preparation.

온도에 따른 $SiO_2$, $SiN_X$ 게이트 절연막 ITZO 산화물 반도체 트랜지스터 전기적 특성 연구

  • 본 실험에서 $SiO_2$, $SiN_x$ 게이트 절연막에 따른 ITZO 산화물 반도체 트랜지스터를 제작하여, 온도변화에 따라 전달 특성 변화를 측정하여 열에 대한 소자의 안정성을 비교, 분석하였다. 온도가 증가함에 따라 carrier가 증가하는 온도 의존성을 보이며, 이로 인해 Ioff가 증가하였다. multiple-trapping 모델을 적용하여, 이동도 증가와 문턱 전압이 감소를 확인하였다. 또한 M-N rule을 적용하여 $SiO_2$, $SiN_x$ 게이트 절연막을 가진 ITZO 산화물 박막 트랜지스터의 활성화 에너지를 추출하고, sub-threshold 지역에서 활성화 에너지의 변화량이 $SiO_2$, SiNX 각각 0.37 eV/V, 0.24 eV/V로 차이를 통해 $SiN_x$ 게이트 절연체를 가진 ITZO 산화물 반도체 트랜지스터의 이동도와 문턱 전압의 변화가 더 컸음을 확인하였다.

Structure and Superconductivity of (Pb,V)Sr$_2$(Ca,Pr)Cu$_2$O$_z$ ((Pb,V)Sr$_2$(Ca,Pr)Cu$_2$O$_z$ 의 구조와 초전도 특성)

  • The effects of Pr doping on structural and superconducting properties of (Pb$_{0.5}$V$_{0.5}$)Sr$_2$(Ca$_{1-x}$Pr$_x$)Cu$_2$O$_z$ have been studied. We have observed systematic variation of lattice parameters with increasing Pr content. A maximum Tc of about40 K has been observed in this system. The correlation between the crystal structure and superconductivity has been addressed.
