CLASSIFICATION OF CLIFFORD ALGEBRAS OF FREE QUADRATIC SPACES OVER FULL RINGS

  • Manddelberg [9] has shown that a Clifford algebra of a free quadratic space over an arbitrary semi-local ring R in Brawer-Wall group BW(R) is determined by its rank, determinant, and Hasse invariant. In this paper, we prove a corresponding result when R is a full ring.Throughout this paper, unless otherwise specified, we assume that R is a commutative ring having 2 a unit. A quadratic space (V, B, .phi.) over R is a finitely generated projective R-module V with a symmetric bilinear mapping B: V*V.rarw.R which is non-degenerate (i.e., the natural mapping V.rarw.Ho $m_{R}$(V,R) induced by B is an isomorphism), and with a quadratic mapping .phi.: V.rarw.R such that B(x,y)=1/2(.phi.(x+y)-.phi.(x)-.phi.(y)) and .phi.(rx) = $r^{2}$.phi.(x) for all x, y in V and r in R. We denote the group of multiplicative units of R by U9R). If (V, B, .phi.) is a free rank n quadratic space over R with an orthogonal basis { $x_{1}$,.., $x_{n}$}, we will write < $a_{1}$,.., $a_{n}$> for (V, B, .phi.) where the $a_{i}$=.phi.( $x_{i}$) are in U(R), and denote the space by the table [ $a_{ij}$ ] where $a_{ij}$ =B( $x_{i}$, $x_{j}$). In the case n=2 and B( $x_{1}$, $x_{2}$)=1/2 we reserve the notation [a $a_{11}$, $a_{22}$] for the space. A commutative ring R having 2 a unit is called full [10] if for every triple $a_{1}$, $a_{2}$, $a_{3}$ of elements in R with ( $a_{1}$, $a_{2}$, $a_{3}$)=R, there is an element w in R such that $a_{1}$+ $a_{2}$w+ $a_{3}$ $w^{2}$=unit.TEX>=unit.t.t.t.

  • Polarographic behavior of cadmium(II) and copper (II) complexes of 1,5-diphenylcarbohydrazide in dimethylsulfoxide have been investigated by the DC polarography. The reduction processes are estimated as follows; Cd(II)${\cdot}$DPH Complex$\frac{e^-}{(E_{\frac{1}{2}}=-0.12V)}$${\to}$Cd(I)${\cdot}$DPH Complex. Cd(I)${\cdot}$DPH Complex$\frac{e^-}{(E_{\frac{1}{2}}=-0.74V)}$${\to}$Cd(Hg) + nDPH. Cu(II)${\cdot}$DPH Complex$\frac{e^-}{(E_{\frac{1}{2}}=-0.44V)}$${\to}$Cu(I)${\cdot}$DPH Complex. Cu(I)${\cdot}$DPH Complex$\frac{e^-}{(E_{\frac{1}{2}}=-0.84V)}$${\to}$Cu(Hg) + nDPH. The limiting currents of all reduction wave are irreversible. The number of ligand and the dissociation constant for Cu(I)${\cdot}$1.5-diphenylcarbohydrazide complex were found to be 2 and 5.12 ${\times}10^{-8}$, respectively. All reduction waves of complexes are irreversible. Based on the experimental results, the polarographic reductions of complexes in dimethylsulfoxide solution occurred in two one-electron steps.

Scintillation Characteristics of CsI(Li) Single Crystals (CsI(Li) 단결정의 섬광특성)

  • CsI(Li) single crystals doped with 0.02, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mole% lithium as an activator were grown by Czochralski method. The lattice structure of grown CsI(Li) single crystal was bcc, its lattice constant was $4.568\;{\AA}$. The absorption edge of CsI(Li) single crystal was 245 nm, and the spectral range of luminescence was $300{\sim}600\;nm$, its maximum luminescence intensity appeared at 425 nm. The energy resolutions of CsI(Li) single crystal doped with 0.2 mole% lithium were 14.5% for $^{137}Cs$(662 keV), 11.4% for $^{54}Mn$(835 keV) and 17.7% and 7.9% for $^{22}Na$(511 keV and 1275 keV), respectively. The relation formula of $\gamma$-ray energy versus energy resolution was ln (FWHM%) = -0.893lnE + 8.456 and energy calibration formula was ${\log}E_r=1.455\;{\log}(ch.)-1.277$. The phosphorescence decay time of CsI(Li) crystal doped with 0.2 mole% lithium was 0.51 s at room temperature, and its time resolution measured by CFT(constant-fraction timing method) was 9.0 ns.

  • A twt -step carbothermal reduction scheme has been employed for the synthesis of SiC whiskers in an Ar or a H2 atmosphere via vapor-solid two-stage and vapor-liquid-solid growth mechanism respectively. It has been shown that the whisker growth proceed through the following reaction mechanism in an Ar at-mosphere : SiO2(S)+C(s)-SiO(v)+CO(v) SiO(v)3CO(v)=SiC(s)whisker+2CO2(v) 2C(s)+2CO2(v)=4CO(v) the third reaction appears to be the rate-controlling reaction since the overall reaction rates are dominated by the carbon which is participated in this reaction. The whisker growth proceeded through the following reaction mechaism in a H2 atmosphere : SiO2(s)+C(s)=SiO(v)+CO(v) 2C(s)+4H2(v)=2CH4(v) SiO(v)+2CH4(v)=SiC(s)whisker+CO(v)+4H2(v) The first reaction appears to be the rate-controlling reaction since the overall reaction rates are enhanced byincreasing the SiO vapor generation rate.

  • In this paper, the method of controlling velocity between joining vehicles at the point of bottleneck using information and communications technology of WAVE method based V2V and V2I are proposed for the driving with high fuel efficiency. Using the derived fuel-efficiency comparative analysis model, it was shown that the proposed method's fuel efficiency is better than traffic light method demanding periodically vehicle's stop. Also, this method provides the derivation algorithm for deceleration and acceleration for controlling velocity between vehicles approaching bottleneck area.

  • This paper considers the jointly active and passive beamforming design in the IRS-aided MISO downlink vehicle communication system where both V2I and V2V communication paradigms coexist. We formulate the problem as an optimization problem aiming to minimize the total transmit power of the base station subject to SINR requirements of both V2I and V2V users, total transmit power of base station and IRS's phase shift constraints. To deal with this non-convex problem, we propose a method which can alternately optimize the active beamforming at the base station and the passive beamforming at the IRS. By using first-order Taylor expansion, matrix analysis theory and penalized convex-concave process method, the non-convex optimization problem with coupled variables is converted into two decoupled convex sub-problems. The simulation results show that the proposed alternate optimization algorithm can significantly decrease the total transmit power of the vehicle base station.

  • Vehicle to Infrastructure(V2I) communication means the technology between the vehicle and the roadside unit to provide the Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) and Telematic services. The vehicle collects information about the probe data through the evolved Node B(eNodeB) and after that eNodeB provides road conditions or traffic information to the vehicle. To provide these V2I communication services, we need a link adaptation technology that enables reliable and higher transmission rate. The receiver transmits the estimated Channel State Information(CSI) to transmitter, which uses this information to enable the link adaptation. However, due to the rapid channel variation caused by vehicle speed and the processing delay between the layers, the estimated CSI quickly becomes outdated. For this reason, channel interpolation and prediction scheme are needed to achieve link adaptation in V2I communication system. We propose the Advanced Discrete Prolate Spheroidal Sequence(ADPSS) channel interpolation and prediction scheme. The proposed scheme creates an orthonomal basis, and uses a correlation matrix to interpolate and predict channel. Also, smoothing is applied to frequency domain for noise removal. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional schemes with the high speed and low speed vehicle in the freeway and urban environment.

  • Assume $H_i : R_+ \times R_+ \to R_+ (i = 1, 2)$ are monotonically increasing (in both variables), homogeneous mapping for which $H_1(tu, tv) = t^p(H_1(u, v) (p > 0)$ and $H_2(u, v)^{t^q} (q \leq 1)$ hold for $t, u, v \geq 0$. Using an idea from the paper of Baker, Lawrence and Zorzitto [2], the superstability problems of the functional inequalities $\Vert f(x+y) - f(x)f(y) \Vert \leq H_i (\Vert x \Vert, \Vert y \Vert)$ shall be investigated.

V2X Technology Trends for Next-Generation Mobility

  • We describes V2X technology, a connectivity-based recognition technology that is attracting attention as a key technology for implementing autonomous driving technology, and autonomous communication modules that implement ADAS technology, a sensor-based recognition technology. It also explains the trends in V2X technology standardization centered on IEEE 802.11p, which is a WAVE technology standard based on Wi-Fi/DSRC. Finally, we will discuss the market growth trend of V2X communication modules in the United States, the leading V2X technology module, and the development of technology development trends of major domestic and international companies that are leading the global technology market related to V2X communication modules. V2X and ADAS technologies will be the biggest influence on automotive purchasing decisions. In recent years, V2I mandates have been promoted beyond V2V, mainly in developed countries such as the United States. The related industry needs to focus on the development of information transmission network technology that can support high frequency high efficiency(transmission rate) and sophisticated positioning accuracy beyond conventional vehicle communication.

  • In this note the notion of interval-valued fuzzy BG-algebras (briefly, i-v fuzzy BG-algebras), the level and strong level BG-subalgebra is introduced. Then we state and prove some theorems which determine the relationship between these notions and BG-subalgebras. The images and inverse images of i-v fuzzy BG-subalgebras are defined, and how the homomorphic images and inverse images of i-v fuzzy BG-subalgebra becomes i-v fuzzy BG-algebras are studied.
