3D image mosaicking is useful for 3D visualization of the roadside scene of urban area by projecting 2D images to the 3D planes. When a sequence of images are filmed from a side-looking video camera passing long distance areas, the ghost effect in which same objects appear repeatively occurs. To suppress such ghost effect, the long distance range areas are detected by using the distance between the image frame and the 3D coordinate of tracked optical flows. The ghost effects are suppressed by projecting the part of image frames onto 3D multiple planes utilizing vectors passing the focal point of frames and a virtual focal point. The virtual focal point is calculated by utilizing the first and last frames of the long distance range areas. We demonstrate algorithm that creates efficient 3D Panoramic mosaics without the ghost effect at the long distance area.

Today, detecting the location of moving object has been traced as various methods in our world. In this paper, we preset the system to improve the estimation accuracy utilizing detail localization using radar sensor based on WSN and situational awareness for a calibration (context aware) database, Rail concept. A variety of existing location tracking method has a problem with receiving of data and accuracy as tracking methodology, and since these located data are the only data to be collected for location tracing, the context aware or monitering as the surrounding environment is limited. So, in this paper, we enhanced the distance aware accuracy using radar sensor utilizing the Doppler effect among the distance measuring method, estimated the location using the Triangulation algorithm. Also, since we composed the environment data(temperature, illuminancem, humidity, noise) to entry of the database, it can be utilized in location-based service according to the later action information inference and positive context decision. In order to verify the validity of the suggested method, we give a few random situation and built test bed of designed node, and over the various test we proved the utilizing the context information through route tracking of moving and data processing.
In this research, we investigated the effect of arithmetic learning utilizing mathematical mobile application on arithmetic fluency and learning motivation of underachieving students in math. 24 4th grade math underachievers were divided into control and experimental groups. Arithmetic learning utilizing mathematical mobile application was conducted for experimental group and arithmetic learning utilizing learning worksheets was conducted for comparative group. After three weeks, the experimental group showed increase in math fluency and motivation compared to control group. Implications are discussed.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the perception, barriers, and importance of delirium assessment of intensive care unit nurses utilizing a tool for delirium assessment. Methods: The subjects were 150 intensive care unit nurses who routinely use the CAM-ICU to screen delirium. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and ranking. Results: Most intensive care unit nurses had experience of education about delirium and delirium assessment, and had assessed over once in a shift. However, a small number of nurses recognized utilizing their assessment result and the effect on higher mortality and underdiagnosed and preventable problem. The first rank of barriers was being too busy to assess patients and the second was difficulty of interpreting intubated patients. The importance of delirium assessment was considered lower than assessing catheter placement and level of pain. Conclusion: The study identified intensive care unit nurses' use of a delirium assessment tool, and the perception, barriers, and importance of delirium assessment. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop education programs to improve the early recognition of delirium by intensive care unit nurses.
In the present study, a control methodology utilizing airborne silver nanoparticles is suggested and tested with respect to its potential to control Gram-positive Staphylococcus epidermidis and Bacillus subtilis, and Gram-negative Escherichia coli bacteria bioaerosols deposited on filters. As it is known that the Gram-negative bacteria are sensitive to airflow exposure, the main focus of this study for testing the airborne silver nanoparticles effect was the Gram-positive Staphylococcus epidermidis and Bacillus subtilis bacteria bioaerosols whereas Escherichia coli bioaerosols were utilized for comparison. Airborne bacteria and airborne silver nanoparticles were quantitatively generated in an experimental system. Bioaerosols deposited on the filter were exposed to airborne silver nanoparticles. The physical and biological properties of the airborne bacteria and airborne silver nanoparticles were measured via aerosol measurement devices. From the experimental results, it was demonstrated that this method utilizing airborne silver nanoparticles offers potential as a bioaerosol control methodology.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the SW-STEAM program by utilizing ozobot coding for elementary science class. The developed SW-STEAM program was applied to $5^{th}$ grade students of S elementary school located in B city. The participants were divided into an experimental group which is consisted of 22 students and a comparative group comprised 22 students. And they were engaged in different teaching and learning methods during 11 class hours. The experimental group participated in the SW-STEAM program, the comparative group was taught by using a traditional instruction. The main results of this study are like followings. The SW-STEAM program had a positive effect on elementary school students' basic science process skill, science learning motive, science achievement. Therefore, the SW-STEAM program by utilizing ozobot coding could be meaningful works to encourage students' basic science process skill, science learning motive and science achievement, and more studies on developing SW-STEAM program are needed.
The effects of education utilizing history of science on science achievement and attitudes of the ninth grade students were investigated according to their achievement level, along with the development of teaching and ;earning materials. A total of 144 ninth grade students were divided into the experiment and control group. Instructing students using history of science was performed in the experiment group, while conventional instruction was used in the control group. The scores of both pre-test and post-test were estimated by ANCOVA. Instructions applying history of science were more effective in increasing the students' science achievement and attitude than conventional instructions. In particular, the former enhanced the achievements of the upper-level students, more than it did for the middle and lower-level students. In addition, using history of science showed a better effect on higher and middle-level students, in improving their attitudes toward science, than it did for lower-level students. This study suggests that the instruction utilizing history of science should be designed based on the students' achievement level, and that various teaching and learning materials related to the instruction were helpful.
This study was conducted to determine the applicable loading rate and to evaluate the possibility of using limestones as an alkalinity source for the removal of ${NO_3}^{-}-N$ remaining after denitrification/nitrification process with the down-flow sulfur packed bed reactor(SPBR). The pretreated sewage was fed to SPBR. Three SPBRs were filled with elemental sulfur particles and limestones and the volumetric ratios of sulfur to limestone were 0%, 12.5% and 25% for R-0%, R-12.5% and R-25%, respectively. The applicable loading rate was evaluated increasing flow rate with influent ${NO_3}^{-}-N$ concentration of 20 mg/L. For R-0% with external alkalinity supply, denitrification efficiency was greater than 96% up to loading rate of $354.8g\;{NO_3}^{-}-N/m^3{\cdot}day$, and corresponding EBCT was 1.4hr. For R-12.5% and R-25%, where alkalinity was supplied by the limestone filled in the reactor, denitrification efficiency was greater than 94% up to loading rate of $283.8g\;{NO_3}^{-}-N/m^3{\cdot}day$, and corresponding EBCT was 1.7hr. The slightly better performance of R-12.5 compared to R-25 suggests that the volumetric sulfur to limestone ratio of 12.5% was enough for the supply of alkalinity required for sulfur-utilizing denitrification. DO was appeared not showing inhibitory effect on sulfur-utilizing denitrification. The clogging of SPBR caused by the produced gas can effectively be eliminated by regular introduction of treated water in up-flow mode.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of expected perspective on the role of genre and attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad on the liking of broadcast ad genre as appeal types of creativity. The results show that there is a significant correlation between macro-environmental expected perspective(MEEP) on the role of genre and a negative attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad. A significant correlation between micro-practical expected perspective(MPEP) and a positive attitude was also found. Consumers with an integrated-situational expected perspective(ISEP) show a more significant relationship with the dual attitude. Consumes with a MPEP have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with an ISEP show a median liking. Consumers with positive attitude have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with a dual attitude show a median liking that is between the positive attitude-based consumers' and negative attitude-based consumers'.
