  • In this paper, we propose a machine learning method for random noise removal in image deblurring. The proposed method uses a logistic regression to select reliable data to use them, and, at the same time, to exclude data, which seem to be corrupted by random noise, in the deblurring process. The proposed method uses commonly available images as training data. Simulation results show an improved performance of the proposed method, as compared with the median filtering based reliable data selection method.

  • In this paper, we propose the hardware architecture to accelerate 2D Vector graphics process for mobile devices. we propose the Transformation Unit Architecture that considerates the operation dependency. It has 3 cycles excution time and uses 2 multipliers and 2 adders. Proposed paint generation unit uses a LUT method, so it does not execute color interpolation which needs to be calculated every time. The proposed OpenVG 1.0 Accelerator achieved a 2.85 times faster performance in a tiger model.

  • This paper made an induction heating inverter. The inverter is the $20\~40[kHz]$ a resonant inverter which uses a high frequency. We use this inverter and use induction heating. A phasor shift ordered a gate signal to adjust an inverter's output. We verified an output waveform according to the situation of a gate signal through the simulation. We made the inverter really and got the result.

  • An accurate digital distance relaying algorithm which is immune to the combined reactance effect of the fault resistance and the load current is proposed. The algorithm can estimate adaptively the impedance to a fault point independent of the fault resistance. To compensate the apparent impedance, this algorithm uses iteratively the angle of an impedance deviation vector improved step by step. The impedance correction algorithm for ground faults uses a current distribution factor to compensate mutual coupling effect.

  • In this paper, a variable structure system control method is proposed to the trajectory control of robot arm. A proposed method uses nonlinear switching function and saturation function. Furthermore, learning control method uses to decrease of the following error.   • Missile and target closing velocity is used in the proportional navigation(PN) missile guidance loop. But it is difficult to estimate the closing velocity when passive seeker is used and only the Line-of-Sight(LOS) rate is available in the guidance loop. In this study, new closing velocity estimation method is developed. This method uses LOS rate measurement only and uses some characteristics of PN guidance law. The Lyapunov method is used to analyze the stability of the developed estimation method.

  • An improved robust hybrid control law is proposed This law uses the separated bounding function: so uncertainties of each axis does not affect the others. Also, this law uses the separated $\varepsilon$, so we can take different $\varepsilon$ for each axis This law guarantees the practical stability in sense of Lyapunov. Simulation was performed to validate this law using a four-axis SCARA type robot manipulator.
