As users' needs for customized services increase, the service provision method is changing from a vertical structural service provision method to a horizontal structural service provision method. This paradigm shift has led to a change from the way existing users find the content they want to find and provide customized needs of users by content providers. With the recent development of smartphones and various AI technologies, demand for providing seamless services such as smartphones is increasing in automobiles. However, it is difficult to provide services in line with changes in this service paradigm because automobile services provide services centered on finished car manufacturers rather than individually providing services tailored to user needs. In this paper, we develop a Node-RED-based dynamic vehicle service simulation tool so that users can use the service they want in cars. The simulation tool developed provides a simulation environment for services authored by the user using NodeRed by writing, registering, and using NodeRed.

University library user's needs and complains are delivered to librarians through the homepage BBS. The purpose of this study is to examine the user's needs and complains in BBS. Twelve domestic university libraries and three foreign university libraries are analyzed. And the result of this study will be useful for developing the library system for end users.

The purpose of this study is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' needs and satisfaction for the actual conditions of management in Moaksand provincial park. For this, users' needs and satisfaction for facilities have been analyzed. And user's satisfaction for the actual conditions of management had been analyzed by using the multiple regression. Users want more toilets and sign boards and to replace damaged facilities. Users gave thought to trail and had high pressure to improvement, and many users were uncomfortable by crowding, and had a positive view to restrict use of intensity. Systematic careful concern about trail and rest area should be need and periodic observation to change of facility condition also. According to the multiple regression analysis, the major variable to the satisfaction for the actual condition of facilities management was trail ground condition.

This research is a study designed to identify the needs for information literacy instruction for the U.S. public library Internet service users. The levels and needs of Internet service users as well as the development and effectiveness of the Internet services at the U.S. public libraries were investigated. The survey was administered to the Internet service users at four public libraries in the upper Midwest region of the U.S.A total of 386 surveys were collected and analyzed. The result showed that as the years of Internet use experience and the level of expertise increases, user satisfaction decreases. However, the users who had taken any Internet class showed more satisfaction than who had not. This research offers a new direction and need for information literacy instruction for public library Internet service users.

This study was performed in order to derive components that users with disabilities demand first when using library services by analyzing the actual usages and demands of handicapped users according to different types of disabilities. The results of the study are as follows: First, the actual situation of library disabled users was analyzed according to types of disabilities. Second, the importance and satisfaction level of disability types were investigated for the main components of the library disability service. Third, major components of library services were analyzed using Borich's Needs Assessment Model for the disabled and ways of activating library services by types were suggested. Fourth, we analyzed the differences according to different purposes of use by the disabled within Borich's Model for the main items of library services. We also proposed a plan to meet the purpose of library use by each type. Fifth, we analyzed the differences by type of users in Borich's Model for the major items of library services and thus suggested solutions to improve library services by types of disabilities.

This study was started on the premise that it was necessary to analyze the users and their needs of the national bibliography in order to develop a new national bibliographic service strategy. Based on this premise, the main purpose of this study is to analyze the users' situation and needs on the Korean national bibliography, and to establish a new service strategy that reflects the user's perspective. In addition, it has a secondary purpose to find the basis for justifying the value and persistence of the national bibliography from user. To this end, first, identified the main user groups of national bibliography through literature and case studies. The data were collected from a interview with 51 people from 4 groups (librarian, researcher, publishing distributor, end user) that are expected to use national bibliography. As a result of the interview, it was possible to confirm very low awareness and utilization of the national bibliography. In addition, the interview results revealed that there is a need for improvement in terms of the method of operating the national bibliography, the content to be provided, and service.

The purpose of this study is to suggest how to improve the public library service for the disabled, by analyzing stakeholders' needs for it. To this end, it analyzed stakeholders' needs, by conducting an analysis on the current condition of the public library service for the disabled, and IPA on and FGI with the disabled, beneficiaries of the service and service provides, employees in charge of it. The findings show that the current condition of the public library service for the disabled is very poor in terms of disabled users, budget for the service for the disabled and special data for the disabled. For the analysis on the needs for the service for the disabled, the results of IPA suggest that it is necessary to improve relevant policies and manage integrated programs reflecting users' needs, and those of FGI indicate that perceptions on disability need to be improved among the disabled, the non-disabled and employees, and that the usage guidance and publicity are required for disabled users to generally use the public library service.

Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) enable their users to access Cloud computing and storage services from anywhere in quick and flexible manners through the Internet. With the basis of 'pay-as-you-go' model, it makes the interactions between CSPs and the users play a vital role in shaping the Cloud computing market. A pool of virtualized and dynamically scalable Cloud services that delivered on demand to the users is associated with guaranteed performance and cost-provisioning. It needed a costing scheme for determining suitable charges in order to secure lease pricing of the Cloud services. However, it is hard to meet the satisfied prices for both CSPs and users due to their conflicting needs. Furthermore, there is lack of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that allowing the users to take part into price negotiating process. The users may lose their interest to use Cloud services while reducing CSPs profit. Therefore, this paper proposes a generic costing scheme for Cloud services using General Equilibrium Theory (GET). GET helps to formulate the price function for various services' factors to match with various demands from the users. It is initially determined by identifying the market circumstances that a general equilibrium will be hold and reached. Specifically, there are two procedures of agreement made in response to (i) established equilibrium supply and demand, and (ii) service price formed and constructed in a price range. The SLAs in our costing scheme is integrated to satisfy both CSPs and users' needs while minimizing their conflicts. The price ranging strategy is deliberated to provide prices' options to the users with respect their budget limit. Meanwhile, the CSPs can adaptively charge based on users' preferences without losing their profit. The costing scheme is testable and analyzed in multi-tenant computing environments. The results from our simulation experiments demonstrate that the proposed costing scheme provides better users' satisfaction while fostering fairness pricing in the Cloud market.

Multimedia needs and searching have become important in everyday life, especially in a younger generation. The characteristics of multimedia needs and searching behaviors are distinctive compared to textual information needs and searching behaviors in a wide variety of ways. By interviewing and observing multimedia needs and searching behaviors of college students from 20 areas in Seoul, this study aims to improve the understanding on users' multimedia needs and how users search multimedia. The findings are presented in terms of searching sources, multimedia needs, relevance criteria and searching barriers. For multimedia, the searching sources are found primarily as Naver and Google and the distinguished features are presented depending on the individual multimedia types. As multimedia needs are categorized into generic, specific and abstract, most of the needs are classified as specific needs rather than generic needs, but there exist differences depending on the types of multimedia. In addition, the aspects of relevance criteria and searching barriers are reflected with the characteristics of individual multimedia types. The findings of this study demonstrate that distinctive indexing and searching environments depending on the types of multimedia might be necessary to improve the quality of multimedia searching.

NTIS(National Science & Technology Information Service) is the first national R&D information knowledge portal service in the world to provide information of government-funded R&D projects and it has been developed by KISTI. This study investigated several limitations of current NTIS information service, analyzed information needs for end users, and then proposed information recomposition and visualization method to satisfy their information needs. For doing this, we firstly clarified the definition of 'end-users' and classified three different groups of general users. We also discriminated various information needs according to three groups and illustrated some examples of visualization results to meet the requirements - 'retrieval simplification' and 'information visualization'. To consider practicality of our proposed method, we suggested implementation plans to utilize existed NTIS services.
