This study sheds light on the source data quality in big data systems. Previous studies about big data success have called for future research and further examination of the quality factors and the importance of source data. This study extracted the quality factors of source data from the user's viewpoint and empirically tested the effects of source data quality on the usefulness and utilization of big data analytics results. Based on the previous researches and focus group evaluation, four quality factors have been established such as accuracy, completeness, timeliness and consistency. After setting up 11 hypotheses on how the quality of the source data contributes to the usefulness, utilization, and ongoing use of the big data analytics results, e-mail survey was conducted at a level of independent department using big data in domestic firms. The results of the hypothetical review identified the characteristics and impact of the source data quality in the big data systems and drew some meaningful findings about big data characteristics.

Recently assessment of suppression of tumorigenicity 2 (ST2) level has become a useful cardiac biomarker in human medicine. This study compared serum ST2 levels and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels between healthy dogs and dogs with chronic mitral valve disease. Twenty client-owned dogs were investigated. Dogs were divided into normal, asymptomatic, and symptomatic groups. Serum samples were used to measure levels of NT-proBNP and ST2. Samples for NT-proBNP were sent to IDEXX laboratory for analysis while ST2 levels were measured by using a canine interleukin 33 receptor ELISA kit. There was a significant difference in NT-proBNP levels between asymptomatic and symptomatic groups (P < 0.01), and between normal and symptomatic groups (P < 0.01). In contrast, ST2 levels were not relatively different between asymptomatic and symptomatic groups (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference was observed among all groups in ST2 study. The usefulness of measuring NT-proBNP level as a cardiac biomarker in dogs with chronic mitral valve disease was confirmed, but usefulness of the ST2 level was not observed. Further investigations are needed to evaluate the potential usefulness of ST2 level as a cardiac biomarker in canines.

Compared to off-line, on-line word-of-mouth has fast dissemination speed and extensive effects based on interactive features. Moreover, in the age of Web 2.0, on-line media has made consumers evolve from simple purchasers to producers, who intervene into product manufacturing through on-line WOM. According to this, this study is conducted to clarify how consumer's prosumer propensity affects WOM in detail when purchasing fashion products on-line through website interactivity and perceived usefulness of WOM. The results are as follows. 1. Consumer's prosumer propensity is classified in four dimensions: the propensity to participate, the propensity to relate, the propensity to amuse and the propensity to create. 2. The sample has shown low prosumer propensity overall, and there were no gender differences. 3. Testing structural equation model, it was clarified that the higher the consumer's prosumer propensity, the higher the consumer's evaluation of website interactivity and thus the greater the WOM effect through its perception of usefulness. 4. There were some differences in the path of structural equation model according to consumer's prosumer propensity. From the results, it can be concluded that consumer's prosumer propensity is a key factor in the on-line WOM. Therefore fashion businesses should actively utilize consumer's prosumer propensity to apply their opinion in the product planning stage or use it as the means of company-friendly viral marketing.

Purpose -This paper aims to understand how easy and convenient it is for consumers to use mobile services. A mobile service combines hardware and software with information technology. To specifically meet the needs of users of mobile applications, the context of usability was identified in consumer mobile services. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - For usability measurement and evaluation, appliances and software were the main target: this applied to an expanding range, such as a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), mobile phones, and wired and wireless integrated services. This study extended the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by examining the roles of two characteristics of mobile applications'usage: usability and usefulness. Results - The study tested the research model using a structural equation modeling (SEM) technique. Results showed no significant differences between the two models. Usability comprised learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction: the motivation for using a mobile application was understood as being the usefulness and easy-of-use of the mobile application. This empirical study validated the proposed research model and hypotheses, and found that the hypotheses could be supported. Finally, the phenomena derived from the causal relationships in usability were identified, and their implications considered.

It is very crucial to establishing an evaluation framework for anayzing the investment effects of IT asset such as knowledge managment systems. However, evaluation by quantitative measures, in spite of its usefulness and reliability, may have weakness in examining wide range of effects of the IT investment. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a novel framework to evaluate the performance in terms of wider range of informatization effects. To do so, knowledge management concepts has been adopted in the evaluation method, and Impact Of Investment(IOI) has been suggested. IOI is used to derive Value Of Investment(VOI) and then ROI.

This paper proposes a new on-line fuzzy model identification(ONFID) algorithm in which the fuzzy model evaluation stage is incorporated. The fuzzy model evaluation is performed by the fuzzy equality index which is known to be a useful tool to evaluate the performance of the identified fuzzy model. Then the fuzzy model is updated according to the result of the evaluation. Proposed ONFID algorithm can sensibly identify to the system changes. To show the usefulness of the proposed algorithm, it is applied to the fuzzy model identification problem of the gas furnace and the output prediction problem of the flexible joint manipulator which is a nonlinear system.

The importance and usefulness of a subjective evaluation of the sensorial properties of scoured silk fabrics is discussed. Silk fabric was treated at 12 different scouring rates and the scoured fabrics were used as specimens. Using paired comparisons, three trained subjects, evaluated seven subjective sensorial properties; softness, elasticity, drape, stiffness, crispness, and luster. A quad experimental design was adopted as an effective and reliable evaluation method. Results showed that some properties such as drape, luster were easily discriminated depending on the scouring rates whereas the smoothness was not easily discriminated. As the scouring rate increased, it was hard to discriminated the softness, drape, and stiffness, which indicates there is an optimum scouring rates to have a certain sensorial properties. It was suggested that these results should be applied to the manufacturing process.

Alternative generation and evaluation in the transportation planning process are generally considered the two most important areas of research. It is, however, unfortunate that most of Korean transportation network systems are evolved without thorough investigation of alternatives and that underplanned systems as well as over-planned systems ar blamed for the current transportation problems. This paper investigates the practical use of formal methodology of alternative generation and evaluation. The maximum possible alternative network approach and the computer oriented network evaluation method developed by KIST and applied for Pusan subway study are summarized to demonstrate their practical usefulness. The practical problems centering around the quantification of evaluation criteria ar also summarized for further studies.

In this study, the purpose is to present the foot inclination angle for realizing an image similar to that of the existing examination method and to present the clinical usefulness of the new examination method through comparison between the existing examination method and the newly designed standing foot oblique projection. A foot phantom was used, and the magnification of the image according to the angle was quantitatively evaluated by attaching a nut to the position of the cuboid of the phantom. The internal oblique image acquired using a 30° wedge was set as the standard image. And that image was compared with the images acquired by changing the angle of the foot from 20° to 65° at intervals of 5°. Image evaluation was performed by 3 radiological technologists, and qualitative evaluation using a Likert 5-point scale for evaluation items of true oblique view and quantitative evaluation of the value obtained by measuring the diameter of a nut in each image were performed as image evaluation. For data analysis, reliability analysis between the measure and comparative analysis of the average value for each angle were performed. The qualitative evaluation score for each image was 4.5 to 5 points for most questions in the case of the standard image. And 4 points or less for most questions in the images with a foot angle of 45° or less, and an evaluation score close to the standard image was obtained in the image of 50° or more. And in the quantitative evaluation, the diameter of the nut was measured to be 9.28~9.56 mm. The qualitative evaluation showed a reliability of 0.95~1.0 and the quantitative evaluation was 0.62. As a result of comparing and analyzing the average of the quantitative and qualitative average values for each angle image, the group with the average value most similar to the standard image was images obtained at 55° and 60°, and in the post-analysis, the images of both groups were the same group as the standard image(p<0.01). As a result of this study, it was found that the angle of inclination of the foot for realizing the image most similar to the existing image in the standing foot oblique projection is 55°~60°. In addition, if this test method is applied to the clinic, it is believed that it will help prevent safety accidents such as falls during the test and improve test efficiency by minimizing the movement of patients for the test.

The purposes or this study were to develop the scientific experimental model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, and evaluation scales for the Home Economics Textiles class in high school. First, through review of literature concerned, scientific experimental model was defined, and the usefulness of this model on the teaching situation testified on other subjects such as Physics and Bilolgy, was reviewed. Secondly, scientific experimental model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, and evaluation scale were developer on the bases on APU evaluation model, experimental guidelines for teachers, experiment planning & report form for students, evaluation scale applicable to the teaching situation ere established by analysing the significant differences scientifically.
