This study was conducted to know usefulness of panoramic radiography by comparing clinical evaluation and dental panoramic radiography in case of oral examination. Following results were concluded by analyzing difference between the result of Clinical evaluation and dental panoramic radiography. According to comparison the result of clinical evaluation and panoramic radiography, In Shin's research, dental caries was higher by 23.1%, periodontal disease was 31.9%, in An's research, dental caries was 24.2%. From new point of view from panoramic radiography, impacted tooth was 33.6%, Sinus abnormalities was 11.6%, periapical lesion was 5.4% in Shin's research and periapical lesion was 17.4%, 3rd molar impaction was 15.3% and retained root was 5.3% in An's research. Any kind of caries were not found in oral examination in the 66.7% of patients among patients with dental root caries in An's research. There were misdiagnose in oral examination(even side(59.5%),proximal side(59.5%), seconds caries(44.0%).

Purpose: This study is a quantitative study and analyzes the effect of evaluating the extreme and usefulness of product reviews on sales performance by using text mining techniques based on product review big data. We investigate whether the perceived helpfulness of product reviews serves as a mediating factor in the impact of product review extremity on sales performance. Research design, data and methodology: The analysis emphasizes customer interaction factors associated with both product review helpfulness and sales performance. Out of the 8.26 million Amazon product reviews in the book category collected by He & McAuley (2016), text mining using natural language processing methodology was performed on 300,000 product reviews, and the hypothesis was verified through hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The extremity of product reviews exhibited a negative impact on the evaluation of helpfulness. And the helpfulness played a mediating role between the extremity of product reviews and sales performance. Conclusion: Increased inclusion of extreme content in the product review's text correlates with a diminished evaluation of helpfulness. The evaluation of helpfulness exerts a negative mediating effect on sales performance. This study offers empirical insights for digital market distributors and sellers, contributing to the research field related to product reviews based on review ratings.

The purpose of this study is to develope a criterion for evaluation on game-type learning programs by the application of HCI(Human Computer Interaction) theory. And to analyze game-type learning programs for elementary students on the criterion developed in this study. The HCI theory, which deals with principles or methods for developing systems people can use conveniently and pleasantly, has been applied to overall area of program development. And it also has been widely used to evaluate learning programs. However, there have been few studies on a game-type learning program evaluation on the basis of the HCI theory. This paper shows that evaluation criteria are developed on three viewpoint bases : usefulness, usability, and affect which are as elements in HCI. And analyzes the game-type learning programs from these three points of view. The evaluation criteria developed in this study can be applied to a basis for evaluation on game-type learning programs, and the analysis will be able to be a useful guide to game programers as well as its users.

This paper proposes a digital forensic method by an evaluation function based on timestamp changing patterns. Operations on file or folder leave changed timestamps, which give the ways to know what operations were executed. Changes of timestamps of ten operations of a file and eight operations of a folder were examined. Analyses on the changes on the eight folder operations are newly added in this paper, which are not performed in the previous works. Based on the timestamps changes of the file and the folder, two evaluation functions are proposed. The first evaluation function checks whether timestamps are changed by file and folder operations, and the second evaluation function checks whether timestamps are originated from a source file or other attribute field. By the two output values from these evaluation functions, a digital forensic investigation on the file or the folder is performed. With some cases, i. e. file copy and folder creation operations, the proposed forensic method is tested for its usefulness.

Recently, information technology and information system(IS) are rapidly diffused throughout the world. In the global competitive environment, the success of IS becomes the important one among the critical success factors(CSF) of the firm. For achieving it, the firm must continually involve itself in the quality evaluation and improvement of IS. The quality concept was changed into the customer-oriented quality one. There is no exception to the quality of IS. In the past, IS quality was determined by the IS developer or IS department offering service. Now it is evaluated by the user of IS service, and then the customer-oriented user satisfaction becomes an important issue. The purpose of this study is to develope the total quality evaluation model of IS through TQM approach. First, all success factors of the domestic IS are extracted from the foreign and domestic literatures of IS success factors contained the technical and behavioral aspects. And the extracted factors are classified with evaluation levels for quality evaluation and developed into a total quality evaluation model. Finally the model usefulness is analyzed.

The purpose of this study is to develop a computer software titled "Compare & Evaluation Program for Household Consumption". This software is developed in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. For the data of this program, the family Income and Expenditure Survey(1998) produced by the National Statistical Office in Korea is used. This program compares income and consumption expenditure for each household with those for standard household according to income level and family life cycle. This program gives information and suggestion for household consumers to manage rational household consumption. Also this study investigates validity and usefulness of the software program by interviewing 20 households used this program.

Purpose The concentration of PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) after radical prostatectomy in prostate cancer patients is a predictor of biochemical recurrence, and the AUA (American Urological Association) is defined as biochemical recurrence when the concentration of PSA is measured at 0.2 ng/mL or more, and when the concentration is measured at 0.2 ng/mL or more at the retest. This standard is also applied our hospital. In this laboratory, the PSA reagent using IRMA (Immunoradiometric Assay) is used, and the sensitivity at a very low value was not as good as the reagent used in the department of laboratory medicine. This study aims to increase the reliability of the results by improving the precision and sensitivity of very low values. Materials and Methods As a reagent for the study, PSA reagent using IRMA was used. As a method to improve the precision and sensitivity of very low values, a variation method on the serum volume(25 uL, 50 uL, 100 uL, 200 uL) was studied, and variation usefulness evaluation was conducted. The evaluation items were compared the results of precision, analytical sensitivity, recovery rate, dilution test, high-dose hook effect test, parallel test and very low concentration values(n = 20). Results The validation results were displayed in the order of 25 uL, 50 uL, 100 uL, 200 uL. As the serum volume increased, it was confirmed that CV (Coefficient of Variation)(%) improved. Analytical sensitivity(ng/mL) was 0.038, 0.041, 0.017, 0.015 and recovery rate(%) was 101±3, 101±3, 99±2, 97±4. very low concentration values(ng/mL) between each volume(n=20) were 0.135±0.068, 0.076±0.050, 0.048±0.034, 0.046±0.034. and high dose hook effect appeared as the serum volume increased. Conclusion Through the variation usefulness evaluation, it was confirmed that as the serum volume increased, the precision and sensitivity improved at very low concentration values. However, it is necessary to pay special attention to the occurrence of high-dose hook effect as the serum volume increases. In the case of tests that requires very low concentration values, it is thought that the reliability of the result will be increased if the variation method is properly used after the variation usefulness evaluation.
