서울시 구(區)별 영상산업 입지의 공간적 결정요인 분석 (Analysis of Spatial Location Determinants on Motion Picture Theater in Various Regions within the City of Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 서울시 25개 구, 354개의 스크린 수를 이용하여 영화상영관의 입지 패턴은 지역의 공간적인 연계성에 의해서 입지함을 GIS를 이용한 공간파급력 비교와 공간회귀모형을 이용한 공간결정요인을 이용하여 도출하였다. 스크린 수를 분석의 Z값으로 설정하여 영화상영관의 공간파급력을 분석한 결과, 서울의 영화상영관은 강북, 강남, 강서, 강동 4개 지역을 중심으로 영향력이 생성되는 것으로 분석되었으며, 4개 주요 중심축의 영향력 파급 결과, 상대적으로 영화상영관 스크린 수가 많은 지역의 파급력은 평면적으로 넓게 파급되기보다는 지역 내에서 높게 영향력이 생성되는 것을 보여 주변 인구가 영화상영관이 있는 지역으로 이동하여 영화매체를 관람하는 것으로 분석되었다. 영화상영관의 스크린 수에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 공간적인 결정요인을 공간회귀모형을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 출판, 음반, 공연 관련 업체가 많을수록 영화상영관의 스크린수가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

H.264/AVC용 매크로블록 겹침 기법에 기반한 디블록킹 필터의 설계 (Design of A Deblocking Filter Based on Macroblock Overlap Scheme for H.264/AVC)

  • H.264/AVC는 블록킹 현상을 제거하기 위해 디블록킹 필터를 채용한 영상 이미지의 압축을 위한 새로운 국제 표준이다. 본 논문에서는 H.264/AVC에 존재하는 디블록킹 필터의 효율적인 아키텍처를 제안한다. 이웃한 $4{\times}4$ 블록사이의 데이터 종속성 을 이용하여 메모리의 사용량을 줄이고, 디블록킹 필터처리의 쓰루풋을 향상시켰다. 본 논문에서 설계된 디블록킹 필터는 매크로블록 내에서는 수평 필터링과 수직 필터링을 파이프라인 방식으로 수행하고, 매크로블록 간에는 겹침 방식을 채용함으로써 병렬성을 한층 향상시켰다. 구현 결과는 기존의 디블록킹 필터와 비교할 때 1.95에서 4.73배까지 성능을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 디블록킹 필터의 아키텍처는 고해상도 비디오 응용에서 실시간으로 디블록킹을 수행할 수 있을 것으로 예견된다.

이중푸리에변환을 이용한 2 파장 디지털 홀로그래픽 연구 (Study on the Two-wavelength Digital Holography Using Double Fourier Transform)

  • 디지털 홀로그램을 이용하여 상을 재생 할 때 재생상의 크기는 재생거리와 파장의 함수이다. 이러한 재생거리와 파장 의존성을 제거하기 위하여 이중푸리에변환법이 제안되었고, 이중푸리에변환을 이용하면 일정 크기의 재생상을 얻을 수 있다. 일반적으로 사용된 광원의 파장보다 큰 단차의 높낮이 측정은 단일파장 디지털 홀로그래픽 방식으로 측정이 가능하지 않기 때문에 2 파장홀로그래피가 제안되었는데, 두 파장에서 얻어진 각각의 재생상의 크기가 같아야 하는 제약이 있다. 본 연구에서는 투과 및 반사형 2 파장 디지털 홀로그래픽 현미경을 이용하여 각각의 파장별로 홀로그램을 촬영하고 이중푸리에변환을 이용하여 재생함으로써 두개의 파장에서 얻어진 재생상의 크기를 같게 만들어 주는 과정 없이 단차를 가진 샘플의 3차원 높낮이 측정을 할 수 있었다.

온실가스 감축 및 지속가능 미래를 위한 집단에너지사업 방향 (Current and Future Trends of District Heating System for a Sustainable Future and Greenhouse Gas Reduction)

  • Amid growing concerns about energy security, energy prices, economic competitiveness, and climate change, district heating (DH) system has been recognized for its significant benefits and the part it can play in efficiently meeting society's growing energy demands while reducing environmental impacts. Policy makers often need to quantify the fuel and carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) emissions savings of DH system compared to conventional individual heating (IH) system in order to estimate its actual emissions reductions. The objective of this paper is to calculate energy efficiency and $CO_2$ emissions saving, and to propose the future direction for DH system in Korea. DH system achieved total system efficiencies of 67.9% compared to 54.1% for IH system in 2015. DH system reduced $CO_2$ emissions by $381,311ton-CO_2$ (4.1%) compared to IH system. The results suggest that DH system is more preferred than IH system using natural gas. In Korea, the aim is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and to use energy more efficiently. DH system have significant potential with regard to achieving this aim, because DH system are already integrated with power generation in the electricity since combined heating and power (CHP) are used for heat supply. Although the future conditions for DH may look promising, the current DH system in Korea must be enhanced in order to handle future competition. Thus, the next DH system must be integrated with multiple renewable energy and waste heat energy sources.

거주민 참여 사진촬영 방법(REP)를 활용한 개발제한구역 해제에 따른 근교 농촌 경관변화 분석 (Changes of Rural Landscape in the lifted Green-belt Area Using Resident Employed Photography(REP))

  • This study was designed to understand the change of rural landscape and to consider problems followed by development restrictions lifted for Neobiul Village in Ansan City, Korea. Physical landscape changes were comprehended by a field study and interview with local residents, and the residents' perception regarding the landscape changes were analyzed with the REP investigation method. The results can be summarized into the following three points: First, due to the lift of development restrictions and the deregulation of land use, the number of factories and warehouses for rent increased, which became a new source of income for the village. Second, the residents' complaints increased due to the increased traffic volume and waste from a sudden influx of factories and warehouses, which could not be handled by a small farming village. Third, a mix of landscape combining both city and farming village was formed due to the influx of external capital and the need of rental income, although the residents rather wanted Neobiul Village to become a residential village than a factory location. Furthermore, even in the farmlands near the village where development restrictions have not been lifted, the level of dependence on the farming industry has decreased as a consequence of the increase in farmland rent and weekend farms. This paper confirmed that the change of rural landscape followed by lifted development restrictions affects the everyday life of residents living in Neobiul Village. This study has significant implications in that it suggests a case showing the effects of national policies such as lifting development restrictions for rural villages in suburban areas.

바이오알코올 혼합연료에 따른 배출 특성 연구 (Study on Emission Characteristics Depending on Mixing Fuels of Bio-Alcohol)

  • The dependence on global fossil fuels has been gradually reducing all over the world. Some countries which recognized the important of environmental values were joining to carry out international GHG goals. Our country has also participated with high targets (37% reduction compared to BAU 2030 years). So we need to supply materials of lower GHG value such as a bio-diesel. Bio-alcohol is one of the similar bio-fuels that can be reducing GHG. A lot of countries had tried to commercialize through various R&D for bio-alcohol. In this study, we analyzed the fuel characteristics of bio-alcohol fuel produced by domestic technology. And we evaluated a possibility to use as vehicle fuel through mixing of bio-alcohol and gasoline. The mixed fuels were satisfied with 2.3 wt% of oxygen content that is standard of the petroleum and petroleum alternative fuel business Act. We tried to evaluate a emission characteristic of vehicle by mixed fuel. In accordance with the results we tried to find a correlation between fuel and emission.

Sensitivity analysis based on complex variables in FEM for linear structures

  • One of the efficient and useful tools to achieve the optimal design of structures is employing the sensitivity analysis in the finite element model. In the numerical optimization process, often the semi-analytical method is used for estimation of derivatives of the objective function with respect to design variables. Numerical methods for calculation of sensitivities are susceptible to the step size in design parameters perturbation and this is one of the great disadvantages of these methods. This article uses complex variables method to calculate the sensitivity analysis and combine it with discrete sensitivity analysis. Finally, it provides a new method to obtain the sensitivity analysis for linear structures. The use of complex variables method for sensitivity analysis has several advantages compared to other numerical methods. Implementing the finite element to calculate first derivatives of sensitivity using this method has no complexity and only requires the change in finite element meshing in the imaginary axis. This means that the real value of coordinates does not change. Second, this method has the lower dependency on the step size. In this research, the process of sensitivity analysis calculation using a finite element model based on complex variables is explained for linear problems, and some examples that have known analytical solution are solved. Results obtained by using the presented method in comparison with exact solution and also finite difference method indicate the excellent efficiency of the proposed method, and it can predict the sustainable and accurate results with the several different step sizes, despite low dependence on step size.

Alcock-Paczynski Test with the Evolution of Redshift-Space Galaxy Clustering Anisotropy: Understanding the Systematics

  • We develop an Alcock-Paczynski (AP) test method that uses the evolution of redshift-space two-point correlation function (2pCF) of galaxies. The method improves the AP test proposed by Li et al. (2015) in that it uses the full two-dimensional shape of the correlation function. Similarly to the original method, the new one uses the 2pCF in redshift space with its amplitude normalized. Cosmological constraints can be obtained by examining the redshift dependence of the normalized 2pCF. This is because the 2pCF should not change apart from the expected small non-linear evolution if galaxy clustering is not distorted by incorrect choice of cosmology used to convert redshift to comoving distance. Our new method decomposes the redshift difference of the 2-dimensional correlation function into the Legendre polynomials whose amplitudes are modelled by radial fitting functions. The shape of the normalized 2pCF suffers from small intrinsic time evolution due to non-linear gravitational evolution and change of type of galaxies between different redshifts. It can be accurately measured by using state of the art cosmological simulations. We use a set of our Multiverse simulations to find that the systematic effects on the shape of the normalized 2pCF are quite insensitive to change of cosmology over \Omega_m=0.21 - 0.31 and w=-0.5 - -1.5. Thanks to this finding, we can now apply our method for the AP test using the non-linear systematics measured from a single simulation of the fiducial cosmological model.

프랑스와 한국의 리모델링 사례분석을 통한 아파트 계획과 주택정책 비교 연구 (A Study on the Housing Policies and Design Characteristics of Apartment Remodeling by Comparative Analysis between Korea and France Cases)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristics of housing policies and apartment designs by comparison of supplying and remodeling apartments between France and Korea. The literature review was used in Korea cases and the literature review, site investigation, and expert interviews were used in France cases. At first, by reviewing the related literatures about the apartment developments and regenerations in France and Korea, twelve remodeling cases were represented respectively in Ile de France and Seoul. As a result, in housing policy, the Korean housing market had a shortage of low-priced houses related to biased apartment developments by private sector dependence. Consequently, the living in Korea generally required the high price in low quality houses. But in France, the housing policies were very successful in housing quantity, quality, and expense. It is involved in balances between the public housing supply and the activation of a private housing market based on the government support policy. Nevertheless, in the success of the apartment as a house type, apartments in France means the social elimination because of the supply method problems and the management failures of HLM institutions. However, in Korea, the apartment implies the successful life of the middle class population because of the competitive evolutions during 40 years as a market housing. Secondly, In the characteristics of remodeling, the remodeling in Korea was for property value improvements. It mainly executed to expand the size of a house by expansion of living space. However the remodeling in France was for social mixes and connections with the surrounding area. It mostly performed by various design methods such as vertical merging houses, partial removal, reconstruction, and construction of a local community centers and mixed-use residential buildings. This study shows the simultaneously remodeling features of those two countries. These findings can be used in developing effective strategies for the public housing regenerations in Korea and other countries.

지역관광 빅데이터 정책성과와 과제 -제주특별자치도를 사례로- (Policy Achievements and Tasks for Using Big-Data in Regional Tourism -The Case of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province-)

  • 본 연구는 다양한 빅데이터를 지역관광 정책에 활용한 제주특별자치도의 사례를 토대로, 관광빅데이터의 활용성과와 과제를 제시하였다. 가장 큰 활용성과는 관광빅데이터를 통해 급변하는 관광트랜드와 관광업계의 동향을 시의성있고 구체적으로 파악할 수 있게 되었고, 기존 관광통계를 정교화하는데 활용할 수 있었다는 점이다. 여기서 더 나아가 제주는 빅데이터의 활용 범위를 관광 현상 이해의 수준을 넘어 실시간 맞춤형 서비스 플랫폼 구축까지 영역을 확장하였다. 이것이 가능했던 이유는 데이터 수집 및 분석 환경 구축과 산·관·학의 협력적 거버넌스가 조성되었기 때문이다. 향후 해결해야 할 과제는 첫째, 민간 데이터셋 위주의 분석으로 예산 의존적이라는 한계와 둘째, 스마트관광의 궁극적 목표인 개인맞춤형서비스 구축을 위한 개인수준 데이터 수집 인프라, 개인정보보호법 등의 제도적인 문제의 해결이다. 마지막으로, 데이터 분석과 데이터 연계에 도달하기까지의 전문성과 기술적 한계들이 남아 있다.
