Female students higher score of 1.30 points in mouth guard awareness than male students(p<0.05). TMJ symptoms experience in oral and maxillofacial trauma was 3.15 points which was higher than the prevention education experience without maxillofacial trauma(p<0.001). TMJ symptoms and Mouth guard awareness showed 2.71(p<0.01) and 1.20 points(p<0.001) respectively in students with maxillofacial trauma prevention education experience. These score were higher than those without education experience of trauma prevention education experience. The influencing factors on trauma prevention education experience are mouth guard awareness(p<0.001), oral habits(p<0.01), and temporomandibular joint symptom(p<0.01). Conclusions: The necessity of mouth guards should be emphasized to prevent the serious oral trauma. It is very important to establish the rule for mouth guard use in sports activities. • Background: The use of dental floss along with a toothbrush is a well-known oral hygiene product that effectively removes dental plaque and reduces the risk of dental caries and periodontal disease. Despite the fact that various types of floss are being used, flossing methods based on the thread type are being taught. In addition, personal preference according to the floss types has not been investigated. In this study, individual preferences according to the floss types were investigated by experiencing various types of dental floss to both floss users and non-users. In addition, the change in intention to use dental floss in the future after flossing experience of non-users was investigated. Methods: General public participated in the individual interview survey (n=419). Subjects responded to the questionnaire after using all of the thread type, Y-type, and C-type floss. All statistics were expressed frequencies and percentages for categorical variables, and the chi-squared test was used to determine the statistical significance of associations between the variables. Results: As a result of the analysis, the preference of C-type floss was highest in both floss users and non-users. The biggest reason for not using dental floss was not knowing the necessity of flossing (36.4%). In addition, both floss users and non-users responded that C-type floss was suitable for flossing in the anterior and posterior regions. The change in the positive future intention to use dental floss after flossing experience of non-users was statistically significantly associated with age. Conclusion: This result suggests that there is a need to provide education on how to use dental floss in various forms. Based on this, it will be possible to lead a change in individual's attitude for future oral health through active and continuous flossing experience.

  • This study was to identify factors related to the experience of violence damage, focusing on health risk behavior of multi-cultural and general adolescents in Korea. Data from the 15th online survey of youth health behavior (2019) was used to analyze 35,574 adolescents. The data were analyzed using complex sample analysis by using SPSS/Win 22.0. The multi-cultural adolescents had significantly higher experience of smoking and habitual drug use and violence damage than those ordinary adolescents. In both multi-cultural and general adolescents, the more they did not live with their family, the more they had smoking experience and habitual drug use experience, the higher they experienced violence. The experience of violence victimization of general youth was significantly related to gender, school, economic status, and drinking experience. To prevent the violence victimization of adolescents, social support for adolescents who do not live with their families is required, and careful attention is needed to adolescents who have smoking and drug use experience. In addition, since multi-cultural youth are more vulnerable to health risk behaviors and violence damage than general youth, educational programs are needed to induce multi-cultural youth to practice correct health behaviors and prevent experiences of violence.

  • This study intended to grasp image association on human's product and cognition response characteristic, and analyze their correlation with product preference. For this, photos of mobile phones and proposal-type products were selected for experiment stimuli, and an experiment expressing associated word and an experiment evaluating preference of each product's photo were made. With the experiments, two results were derived. First, in linguistic cognition response on product with use experience, application of emotional expression increased as the level of preference increased by mixing expressions of metaphor languages and emotional image. Second, non-use experience of product induces response corresponding to understanding on the object of cognition only perceptually and considering similarities with general experience information.
