This study investigated 1) the effects of mountain climbing motivation on the desired mountain climbing wear benefits, and 2) the desired effects of mountain climbing wear benefits on clothing usage behavior. Data were collected via a questionnaire administered to 498 consumers who make at least one mountain climbing wear purchase for personal use. All items were evaluated on a 5-point Likert scale, and SPSS 20.0 and Amos 7.0 were used for data analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis for the research variables were performed and three factors of mountain climbing motivation (social interaction, health improvement, and mental rejuvenation), four factors of mountain climbing wear benefits sought (ostentation, ideal healthy figure, conformity, and functions), and two factors regarding clothing usage behavior (sportswear usage and daily wear usage) were identified. The results from the model test were as follows: 1) Mountain climbing motivation was found to vary depending on the mountain climbing wear benefits sought. Social interaction had a positive effect on all 4 factors of mountain climbing wear benefits sought. Health improvement was the only motivating factor for consumers who sought the benefit of functions; however, the functions benefit was not found to be a consideration for consumers who climbed for mental rejuvenation. 2) Mountain climbing wear usage was affected by mountain climbing wear benefits sought. The benefits for conformity and functions had a positive effect on sportswear usage and daily wear usage; however, the ideal healthy figure only affected daily wear usage. The twofold usage of mountain climbing wear reflects a cultural trend toward the usage of mountain climbing wear as daily wear; however, consumers show this twofold usage to conform successfully to mainstream society and not to pursue the ideal healthy figure.
This study utilized the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) to examine usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. Six independent variables were examined: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and habit. The study collected responses from 445 participants who had utilized virtual fitting services. Regarding factors related to usage intentions associated with these services, performance expectancy and social influence were found to significantly influence the usage intentions associated with photo-based virtual fitting services. Furthermore, performance expectancy, social influence, and habit significantly influenced the usage intention of avatar-based virtual fitting services. This suggests that higher levels of performance expectancy and social influence positively impact the usage intentions associated with both types of virtual fitting services, while habit influences only avatar-based virtual fitting services. Moreover, the findings confirm that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation from UTAUT2 do not significantly influence usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. By analyzing factors influencing potential customers' virtual fitting service usage intentions, this study can suggest effective strategies to increase usage intentions for companies providing virtual fitting services. Additionally, these findings can be utilized in the formulation of virtual fitting service marketing strategies.
The purpose of this research is to develop an information technology (IT) usage level assessment model for service industry. It is necessary to develop an assessment model for service industry's IT usage to improve service productivity. However, it is not easy to develop assessment models due to service industry's diversity. In this paper a generic IT usage assessment model for service industry has been developed and validated through a descriptive approach. Key factors affecting service productivity have been identified and analysed. A pilot test on IT usage level has been performed to investigate the relevance and importance of IT usage indicators (factors). As a result, a set of effective IT usage indicators for service industry have been found. A short-cut model and a full scale model have been proposed for efficient and effective usage. The results of this study can be used for enhancement of service industry productivity through the increase of IT usage level.

At the center of the repeating evolution of IT industry, there is mobile computing in the ubiquitous environment, and the increasing usage of smart phones contribute more to its growth. P corporation co-developed with Google and implemented smart work system called SWP for the purpose of 'communication and collaboration with co-workers' beyond the general goal of increasing productivity and comfort of employees. The primary objective of this study is to objectively analyze the influence of the effect factor from end user's perspective and user satisfaction on SWP usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. To accomplish this research purpose, this study established research models and hypothesis by collective review about information system success models, and tested the research hypotheses using the structural equation modeling technique by data collected from 320 SWP system users of P corporation. Variations for system satisfaction evaluation standard are 1)SW system usage 2) intention for continuous usage 3) individual performance, effect variations are 1) social factors 2) technical factors 3) combination of social and technical factors. Therefore, this study is about influence factors on success of SWP system and how the factors impact the outcome. The test results of this research model is summarized as follows. Firstly, system user's satisfaction had positive impact on all three; SWP system usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. Secondly, social factor 'SWP control system' and technical factor 'information quality' and 'system quality' had positive impact on SWP system user satisfaction, while social factor 'shared value' and technical factor 'service quality' did not have significant effect on user satisfaction. Shared value however, had interactive effect with 'information quality' and 'service quality'. This study is expected to contribute to spread of academic research on smart work system by suggesting a model that can show important factors for corporation while explaining the successful implementation of SWP and its continuous usage.
This study examines the relationship between the usage of public bike and physical environment factors around the public bike stations using the public bike rental history data from 2016 to 2017 in Seoul, Korea. Focusing on the different influences of determinant factors by distance to public bike station, this study identifies influential factors that affect the usage of public bike. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, both the land use and physical environmental variables of bike station areas show strong associations with the usage of public bike. Second, the usage of public bike is also associated with neighborhood living facilities, business facilities, land use mix, the distance to subway station, public facilities and universities. This finding indicates that public bike has played a role as a transportation mode for the short-distance travel and commuting purposes in everyday life. Third, this study shows that the usage of public bike is strongly associated with the average slope, traffic volume around public bike stations, distance to streams or rivers, and the types of bike lane. This finding also indicates that surrounding environmental factors play an important role in the usage of public bike. Finally, this study identifies the different influences of determinant factors on the usage of public bike by distance to public bike station. This study suggests policy implications for the potential locations of public bike stations in the future.
Although many organizations have implemented and used ERP systems for years, industry reports point out that the usage level does not reach their expectation. As a result, they do not enjoy the benefits from the investment into ERP systems. This study attempts to develop a research model and test the model empirically for identifying factors that affect the usage of an ERP system at a public organization. This study has classified potential factors into three groups of technical system characteristics (usability, usefulness), organizational support characteristics (operational support, education and training, evaluation and measurement), and user characteristics (organizational citizenship, self-efficacy). Then, a structural equation model has been established on the basis of previous literature and tested with empirical data. In summary, this study has found that self-efficacy, usefulness, and operational support have an effect on the ERP usage. Self-efficacy is the strongest factor; Usefulness is the second; and the third is operational support. On the contrary to the previous literature, this study has not found a significant effect of organizational citizenship on the usage. The result confirms that an organization can increase the ERP usage by improving the usefulness of an ERP system to some extent. However, to boost the usage further, the result implies that organizations need to strengthen the self-efficacy of their members by reinforcing operational support, providing education and training steadily, and establishing an evaluation mechanism in relation with the ERP usage.
The objective of this study is to analyze factors affecting usage of b2b e-marketplace. For this purpose, we suggest a research framework where the factors are e-business infrastructure, expectation of competitive advantages and perceived barriers with current and future usages as result variables. For empirical test, 219 companies are surveyed and 177 valid ones among them are analyzed. In result, e-business infrastructure and competitive advantage affect to both current and future usage positively and perceived barriers affect to future usage negatively. The results shows the following two: First, many companies expect improvement of competitive advantages such as bargaining power and efficiency by usage of e-marketplace. Second, for more aggressive usage of e-marketplace, it is important not only to build e-business infrastructure but also to resolve perceived barriers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the user's attitude and usage of smart banking application in terms of user's benefits and personalization. While the prior researches on mobile banking adoption focus on the characteristics of service itself, this paper intends to investigate the smart banking application in terms of user's benefits, which are personal value consumers attach to the product or service attributes. Based on prior studies functional benefits, social benefits, experiential benefits, and personalization are identified as affecting factors of the user's attitude and usage of smart banking application. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, all benefit factors(functional benefit, experimental benefit, social benefit) and personalization were found to be significantly related to the user's attitude. Users' attitude on smart banking was found to be significantly related to the real usage as well. This paper has value in that it investigates the attitude and usage of smart banking in terms of benefits.
As the usage of SNS has grown dramatically over the last years, it has been used in various sectors not just a tool for communication. In particular, corporate companies actively use Facebook as a tool for corporate marketing. Corporate companies communicate with their customers by providing service or events information. In this study, empirical analysis was carried out on corporate companies that are using Facebook as a marketing tool, thus finding out the influencing factors in continued usage of Facebook Fan Page users. In addition, analysis of the factors will be investigated according to continued usage of the users, where the user's intention will differ depending on how corporate companies operate and deal with the Facebook Fan Page. Factors affecting the user's satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and perceived playfulness were deducted through the analysis of the existing literature study on corporate company's continued intention on the usage of Facebook Fan Page. Accordingly, factor affecting this such as relationship, speed, content diversity, which are the media characteristics of the Facebook were deducted and finally hypothesized. In addition, the type of corporate company's Facebook Fan Page was divided into event type, communication type, information service type. And hence investigated the factors that differed from the continued usage depending on the type. Results analysis shows that perceived usefulness affected only relationship, speed, content diversity. Furthermore, analysis shows that corporate company's Fan Page of communication and event types are the factors that affect the usage intention which meant it only affected the perceived enjoyment. On the basis of this study, we are able to present an implication of value where corporate company use it as a marketing tool, through factors from continued usage of coroporate company's Facebook Fan Page users.

Human lifestyle is affected by the agricultural development in the last 12,000 years ago. The development of agriculture is one of the reasons that global population surged. To ensure sufficient food production for supporting human life, pesticides as a more effective and economical tools, are extensively used to enhance the yield quality and boost crop production. This study investigated the factors that affect crop production and whether the factors of pesticide usage are the most important factors in crop production using the dataset from Kaggle that provides information based on crops harvested by various farmers. Logistic regression is used to investigate the relationship between various factors and crop production. However, the logistic regression is unable to deal with predictors that are related to each other and identifying the greatest impact factor. Therefore, causal discovery is applied to address the above limitations. The result of causal discovery showed that crop condition is greatly impacted by the estimated insects count, where estimated insects count is affected by the factors of pesticide usage. This study enhances our understanding of the influence of pesticide usage on crop production and contributes to the progress of agricultural practices.
