도심 엔터테인먼트형 복합상업시설 지하공간에 자연요소를 이용한 실내 환경디자인 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of the Interior Environmental Design Using Natural Elements in Underground Space of Urban Entertainment Center)

  • The underground space of urban entertainment center can do various roles for urban development. Especially, the design of underground space using natural elements is necessary to sustainable development of facilities. The purpose of this study is to propose the elements, characteristics and application around interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center. The research methods of this study are research references, survey and field-study. This study can be concluded as follows; First, the factors of interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center are 'landmarks expression of natural elements', 'introduction and planning of daylighting', 'planning of materials using natural images', 'planning of ecological footpath' and 'planning of energy recycling'. Second, pedestrian space and openspace considering regional context are necessary. Third, introduction of daylight and design of artificial lighting in underground space are needed to making eco-friendly environment. Fourth, landmark design using various natural elements in underground space is needed to provide eco-friendly amenity. Fifth, the interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to community space in underground space. Sixth, eco-friendly pedestrian space in underground space is necessary. Seventh, interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to the entrance of underground space of urban entertainment center.

  • The change of shopping environment created new emerging type of shopping center after 1990's, Urban Entertainment Center(UEC) in northen America. One hand traditional shopping center was retail-centered, the other hand UEC is entertainment-centered and offers the trinity of synergy. Each components, that are retail, dining and entertainment, play a role of drawing people, extending duration of visiting and making people revisit then the synergy makes commercial profit in shopping center. As northen America many of shopping centers with complex have been built in Korea since 2000 and some projects is planning by the change of shopping environment and regenerating urban. Although the term of "UEC" is used in Korea, it seems to be added entertainment facilities to shopping center without considering on commercial strategy. This study will take a look at mix and duration of visit which ULI stresses in UEC development and comparing with those of Yongsan Station and Chyeongrangri Station which are built recently in seoul, it will get characters and situation of these UECs. Finally, the analysis is to be used as a planning data in UEC development.

도심 엔터테인먼트 쇼핑센터(UEC)의 테넌트 배치 형태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the pattern of tenant layout in the Urban Entertainment Center)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of tenant layout for selected cases of five different Urban Entertainment Center(UEC) in Seoul. This research deals with the process of gaining tenant layout pattern of 40 different types. It is composed of three combination unit with tenants of the same or different consumption mode, which is divided into four different functions of retail, entertainment, dining, and service. Then, every tenant of research cases is classified as one of the fabric type, and the data is analyzed to gain its frequency rate with SPSS 14.0 program. The following is the overall explanation of the result for this research. The frequency of tenant layout pattern between the same consumption mode shows the high rate when compared to the other patterns with different consumption mode. For example, the frequency rate of tenant layout pattern which retail and dining consumption mode are placed side by side like RRR and DDD is high. Interestingly, the frequency rate of RRR type of tenant layout pattern that sells the similar products shows especially high level. It can provide the effective environment for shoppers to compare retail goods in many different stores as producing synergic effects when they are located near each other, so this strategy should be considered when planning tenants in UEC environment. Moreover, in case of dining tenants, when they are clustered together in the UEC environment it can play a role as an anchor tenant. Tenant layout pattern of dining-retail and dining-service consumption mode shows the high frequency rate than other layout pattern with other consumption mode. Besides, entertainment consumption tenants combined with dining or retail tenants show the high frequency rate when compared to the pattern combined with service consumption mode.

도심 쇼핑센터(UEC)의 테넌트 구성 및 배치계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Planning Strategy of Tenant Variety and Placement for Urban Entertainment Center)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest planning strategy of tenant mix for UEC based on the final result of tenant mix analysis of five different research cases. The following is the comprehensive explanation about the result of tenant mix planning strategy for UEC currently in operation and when planning a new facility. First, overall research cases in this study show the tendency of following an old tradition, which stresses direct sales focusing on retail and dining adaptation. In order to compensate the defect, it is suggested to adopt new type of tenants with the functional mix of retail and dining with entertainment rather than decreasing the proportion of retail and dining tenant and increasing it of entertainment tenant. Second, the floorplan of UEC should adopt racetrack or circuit form that can stimulate shoppers' circular movement so to expose them to as much tenants as possible. Service consumption mode related tenants are required to place on the side or the edge of UEC, while retail consumption mode related tenants should be planned in the center. Among dining consumption mode related tenants, impulse dining tenants like a coffee shop should be placed at the turning point or at the end of the pathway, destination tenants like a restaurant and a food court, on the other hand, is needed to be placed in the center of the space. In case of Entertainment related tenants, destination tenants like bookstore or multiplex should also be placed at the end of the pathway, and on the way to those tenants, it is required to place general tenants that can share target customers with them. On the contrary, game center or record shop like tenants that can stimulate impulse sales should be placed on the visitor's main move or near the other destination tenants. Third, anchor tenants play an important role in gathering people to the UEC, and then induce them to visit the other tenants that are located near the anchors. Thus it is suggested to plan to place general tenants on the same floor as anchor tenants are placed so they can share the characteristics of target customers which create synergy effect.

  • This paper is to study the tendency of the development of the urban comprehensive park in the modern history of China, and take the urban comprehensive park of Wuhan as an example to study the local research through the literature.. In 1928, Wuhan Urban Comprehensive Park starting stage characteristics to the ideological education of the government as the center, in 1977 the policy of reform and opening to the outside world to entertainment center, ecology design point of view, the introduction of open space and urban plaza, to human centered design, application of science and technology. 2015 in Wuhan Urban Garden Expo theme can be seen in green life as the goal, through the design of urban comprehensive park ecology and human centered design, the application of science and technology development.

오사카 난바 역세권 재생사례연구를 통한 우리나라 지방대도시 구도심 재생전략 연구 (Urban Regeneration Strategies of Old City Centers in Local Metropolitan cities through Case Study about Nanba Station Regeneration in Osaka City)

  • The old city centers of local metropolitans have lost their functions as CBD in korea. Those old city centers have an only role as a gate connected to the new CBD. This study aims to present regeneration stratigies of old city centers through Osaka case study. This research has been focused on the physical and environmental factors in urban regeneration. There are 4 strategies for old city centers. First, the strategy to attract people to the old city centers is high-density and mixed-use development having functions like shopping, entertainment, residence. This kind of development makes local metropolitan cities compact cities to protect urban sprawl. Second, strategy to give old city centers an identity is to conserve traditional culture and structures and to revitalize retail market. Third is to make pedestrian-friendly street system. Osaka ism't pedestrian friendly but remodelling the connect the pedestrian path to the culture facilities. Fourth is to have water and green environment. Green space is the strong factor that pull people to old city centers.

복합상업시설에서의 아동 동반 고객 행태분석을 통한 미아 발생원인 고찰 (A Study on the Causes of Child Loss through Behavioral Analysis of Customers Accompanied with Children in Urban Entertainment Centers)

  • Although the number of child loss in commercial facilities has been growing recently, the prevention method for child loss are still lacking in the environmental aspect. This research examines the causes of lost child in behavioral aspects in order to develop a guideline to prevent child loss in U.E.C. The observational study on the behaviors of guardians and children was conducted in the U.E.C that is visited by many customers accompanied with children. Then the results of the observational study were marked on the behavioral maps. After analyzing the behavioral maps, the causes of child loss were determined by classifying into behaviors by age and behaviors by functional space. As a result, when guardian is unable to pay attention to child by doing something else such as making a purchase, or an inquiry, child may lose guardian by going towards the interesting factors or playing around. Moreover, if the spaces related to children are located at the node with high pedestrian density and open structure or the environment that is hard for the guardians to watch over their children, it will be easy for guardians to be inattentive to their children, and get separated from each other.

DEVELOPMENT OF BUILDING INFORMATION MODEL FOR RESOURCES OPTIMIZATION IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

  • The aim of the study is to develop the 3D visualization of Building Information Model and integrated 4D model for optimization of resources in the construction project. This study discuss the process of methodology and creation of 4D model of the project and simulate it to monitor the workflow at the site. Different stages of the construction process and activities are generated by using Revit and MS Project. MS project has been used for creation of the schedules and these are linked with the Revit for 3D modeling. The time used as the fourth dimension and 4D model created by using Navisworks Time liner software. Narges shopping center is presented as a case study to realize the actual uses and benefits of Building Information Model (BIM). Narges shopping mall is located in Tehran, Iran. As a part of Hekmat master plan, Narges shopping center is an 11 stores building with a total area of 30000 Sq.m. This shopping and entertainment center is comprised of 150 retails and two multi-use public halls with a capacity of 400 persons each and underground parking with total 400 parking space. The main purpose of architecture was to create an urban public center along with its revolving, spiral like form and an ever changing continuous façade by means of different colors, materials, which is in harmony with the other building of the master plan. The approximate cost of the project is $17 million and duration of the project schedule is 30 months. The developed Building Information Model enabled us to identify the potential collisions or clashes between various structural and architectural systems. 4D model has been used for limiting the interaction between subcontractors installing the different systems so rework could be avoided and productivity maximized. It is also observed that the utility of BIM for construction stimulation and clash detection is the best suitable method. Clash detection before the implementation of work is highly recommended to avoid rework.

  • 본 연구에서는 디지털시대 교육콘텐츠 확보 및 다변하는 도서관 공간 기능에 대응하여 사회적 변화에 대처할 수 있는 탄력 창조적 복합기능 정보공간과 인적자원 교류 및 커뮤니티 기반을 갖춘 지역사회 도서관 정보공간 구축방안을 제안하고자 한다. 지식, 정보, 기술 및 환경 등 교육 및 연구에 필요한 장소와 컨텐츠를 제공하는 기관으로서 장서중심에서 이용자 중심으로, 특정 이용자 중심에서 지역사회와 자원을 공유하는 도서관으로의 확대 변화를 추구하여 연구 및 교육활성화에 기여할 수 있는 방안을 모색한다. 지역도서관으로서의 가치를 증대하고 이용자 중심의 공간 활용을 확대할 수 있는 지역커뮤니티를 위한 도서관 계획방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공간 프로그램의 커뮤니티 측면에서는 문화 엔터테인먼트 협업 프로그램 활성화 및 사회 인적 커뮤니티 조성을 통해 프로그램을 보완하고 공간을 다변화하여 공간운영의 유연성 및 연구 교류 및 커뮤니티 활성화를 도모한다. 둘째, 운영 환경의 스마트 지원 측면에서는 정보기술기반의 지식문화구현, 공공데이터제공과 지역사회 정보교류, 이용자 중심의 스마트 관리운영 시스템을 구축을 통해 장서 열람공간을 스마트 정보공간으로 전환하여 지역사회와 상호이용 가능하도록 연구생산성을 확대한다.

대구시 상업지역의 구조 변화 (Change in the Spatial Structure of Commercial Areas in Daegu)

  • 본 연구는 대구시 상업지역의 공간분포 및 계층구조 변화를 분석한 것이다. 분석기법으로 집중지수, 집중화계수 및 특화계수를 이용하였으며, 1985년$\sim$2003년의 기간을 고찰했다. 도시인구의 성장과 함께 도시적 토지이용이 증가되었다. 인구 성장 118%에 비해 상업입지량 증가율은 330%에 달하였다. 주요 상업적 토지이용은 판매업이 가장 높고 그 다음이 업무, 식품 순이다. 업종별 공간 분포의 분석에서 숙박, 의료, 운수창고 및 위락 등이 집중도가 높으며, 도시 외곽으로 갈수록 특수상업지구를 형성하였다. 판매업의 분산화가 가장 높게 나타나고 있으며, 식품, 업무도 분산 성향이 높았다. 한편 분석기간 동안, 도심부의 상업 집중 성향이 나타나고 있다. 도심핵의 공간적 확장과 함께 도심 주변지역의 상업 집중 또한 증가하는 추세이다. 도시상업의 공간구조는 단핵도시의 성격이 강화되고 있다. 그러나 내부시가지의 결절에 2계층의 중심지들이 생성되면서 다핵화의 과정에 있고, 특히 동대구역 역세권 지역은 부도심으로 성장할 잠재력을 나타내고 있다.
