Objectives: The major objective of this study is to review overall and in detail the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 in the U.K.and the principal contents of this act. Methods: A variety of articles related to the background and circumstances under which the legistration was enacted and the details of this act were investigated and analyzed. Results: In enacting Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, legislators mainly took elements of legal culture into account and focused on seeking to broaden the law on corporate manslaughter. An indictable offence is considered to have been committed if the way in which an organization's activities are managed or organised causes a person's death and amounts to a gross breach of the relevant duty of care owed by the organization to the deceased. The way in which its activities are managed or organized by its senior management is a substantial element in the breach. Upon conviction, a corporation may be ordered to remedy any breach, publicize its failures, or be given an unlimited fine. Conclusions: The enactment background and details of Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 is understood accurately. On the basis of the findings, it is necessary to heighten effectiveness of punishment.for senior management or corporations that cause a person's death in Korea.

Fine chemical production must assure high-standard product quality as well as characterized as multi-product production in small volumes. Installing high-precision batch distillation is one of the common elements in the successful manufacturing of fine chemicals, and the importance of the process operation strategy with quality assurance cannot be overemphasized. In this study, we investigate the optimal operation strategy and production planning of a sequential multi-purpose plants consisting of batch processes and batch distillation with unlimited intermediate storage. We formulated this problem as an MILP model. A mixed-integer linear programming model is developed based on the time slot, which is used to determine the production sequence and the production path of each batch. Illustrative examples show the effectiveness of the approach.

이 연구는 텍스트 마이닝을 사용하여 하드웨어 제품에 대한 리뷰, 서비스 상품에 대한 리뷰, ICT분야의 하드웨어와 클라우드 서비스가 융합된 형태의 상품을 대상으로 소비자 리뷰를 분석한다. 분석을 위해 각 리뷰의 키워드를 도출하고 토픽 도출에 사용된 단어의 차별성을 찾는다. 마지막으로 전체 리뷰를 대상으로 군집분석을 실시하고 각각의 상품군의 리뷰가 어떤 군집에 속하는지를 검토한다. 이 연구를 통해서 각 상품의 유형별로 특화되어 사용된 핵심어를 도출하였고, 토픽모델링을 사용하여 제품과 서비스의 특성을 표현하는 주제를 도출하였다. 서비스 상품 리뷰에서는 공급자의 우수성을 의미하는 professional, technician과 같은 핵심어를 도출하였고, 융합제품서비스상품으로서 아마존 에코 리뷰에서는 favorite, fine, fun, nice, smart, unlimited, useful 등의 긍정적 의미의 형용사를 도출하였다. 군집분석을 사용하여 전체 리뷰를 분석하였고, 3개의 상품 유형별 리뷰가 배타적으로 서로 다른 각각의 군집에 속하는 결과를 발견하였다. 이 연구는 소비자의 니즈(needs)를 상품의 유형별로 온라인 리뷰를 이용하여 차이점을 분석하였고 실무적으로 상품 유형에 기반한 상품기획과 마케팅 프로모션 차별화의 필요성을 제시하였다.

As we approach the end of the twentieth century, it seems we need a new way to express the thoughts, needs, and values that are undergoing a drastic change and a new strategy to create diverse cultural forms that would reflect and incorporate such changes. In this study, I am introducing the chaos theory as a new way of thinking that would help counterbalancing the deter-ministic world-view and forging a harmonious unity of man and his environment. As a creative principle, the theory seems to offer an unlimited number of structural possibilities for art and design. In fine, this study discuss-es the reductive nature of modernist approach and offer instead the chaos theory that is more probabilistic and capable of greater diversity.

In this paper, a compact 3-DOF mobile microrobot with sub-micron resolution is presented. It has many outstanding features : it is as small as a coin ; its precision is of sub-micrometer resolution on the plane ; it has an unlimited travel range ; and it has simple and compact mechanisms and structures which can be realized at low cost. With the impact actuating mechanism, this system enable both fast coarse motion and highly precise fine motion with a pulse wave input voltage controlled. The 1 -DOF impact actuating mechanism is modeled by taking into consideration the friction between the piezoelectric actuator and base. This modeling technique is extended to simulate the motion of the 3-DOF mobile robot. In addition, experiments are conducted to verify that the simulations accurately represent the real system. The modeling and simulation results will be used to design the model-based controller for the target system. The developed system can be used as a robotic positioning device in the micromanipulation system that determines the position of micro-sized components or particles in a small space, or assemble them in the meso-scale structure.

한-EU FTA 발효 후 한국의 대영국 수출물량 및 투자는 발효 전에 비해 지속적인 증가 추세를 보여왔다. 영국은 한-EU FTA 효과와 더불어 2013년 세계은행이 선정한 '비즈니스하기 쉬운 국가'에서 최상위로 선정됨에 따라 앞으로도 한국의 다국적 기업들에게 지속적인 수출 및 투자를 하고 싶은 매력적인 무역대상국으로 자리매김 하고 있다. 이러한 가운데 영국법무부는 비즈니스 과정에서 발생하는 부패행위를 척결하기 위해 '영국 뇌물수수법(UK Bribery Act 2010')을 제정 및 전면 시행함으로써 영국과 비즈니스 관계에 있는 개인이나 기업의 뇌물공여 및 수수에 대한 처벌을 선포했다. 영국 뇌물수수법은 적발 시 '무한' 벌금형까지 처벌을 가능하게 함으로써 다른 어떤 부패방지법보다 강화된 법이다. 대영국 비즈니스를 하고 있는 한국의 다국적 기업들도 영국 뇌물수수법의 관할권에 속하기 때문에 영국 뇌물수수법에 대한 정확한 이해와 영국법무부가 발행한 지침서(Guideline)에 명시된 뇌물행위 방지를 위한 준수방안을 구비하지 않으면 가혹한 처벌 대상이 될 수 있다. 따라서 이 논문은 영국 뇌물수수법에 대한 자세한 분석과 해당 법이 한-EU FTA 시대에 대영국 수출 및 투자에 관여하는 한국 다국적 기업에 미칠 영향과 그에 대한 대처방안에 관하여 논하고자 한다.

The spiral form, which comes from the organic form of natural phenomenon such as growth of creatures, has been used as a factor of formative shape in various fields of art until now. In conjunction herewith, this study intends to discover and express the life force and the formative beauty of natural substances with the organic spiral forms into clothing design, using various creating methods and materials such as Korean traditional paper. The natural substances with the spiral structure, such as seashells, land snails, passion flower, curled flower, growing chart of plants, Impatiens textori was used as subjects of the designs. The seven pieces of work were completed with attempts to develop aesthetic forms through the presentation techniques and methods via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation. Through such process the conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the nature, with unlimited possibilities, could be subject of human formative activities, leading to the creative world of formative art for designers. Second, adaptation of the spiral organic forms of nature into the contemporary clothing designs proved the motif as a source of inspiration of diverse subject, in recognition with its innate formative beauty as well as external shape. Third, design expressions via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation with designer's subjective point of view were adequate for the creations of contemporary fashion designs. Fourth, the Korean traditional paper, as a fine material for various shape according to the handling method, could be used appropriately in the contemporary clothing designs, expressing our aesthetic senses. Fifth and finally, expansion of the realm of formative expression of clothing through the development of possibilities of expression in contemporary clothing would enhance the creative possibilities of clothing design as formative art. In conclusion, the expression of clothing design as formative art was developed on the emphasis of re-creation of natural objects of the organic spiral form. For the future study, the applications of spiral form into everyday clothing designs, consolidating artistic senses and practical senses, are expected as opportunity of proposing developmental possibilities of the contemporary clothing designs.
