The subject is connected with a structure named "The Symbolic" to Lacan, but he denied that the subject is explained simply as a fruit of language and "Other". From his point of view, passing through Subject, De-formation and Crack over it is designated as foundation of generation and creation rather than our destined defect. It should not be understood that subject of "The Real" is a concept of the subject free itself from restraint of "The Symbolic". However, this does not mean he asserts "Subject" is something incapable of being controlled by the unknown power. The problem is that this autonomous existence meets inside of it with something "more than one's own self" by "circulating around itself" like a permanent star. This is the indication of a "stranger in the middle of my privacy", or "extimit$\'{e}$", a coined-word by Lacan. Perhaps "Subject" is nothing more than the name of distance of object which is "too hot" to come close, and of this circulating movement. It's because of this object that the real subject stands against generalization and the subject can't be restored to any place in symbolic order-even though it is empty. The part which is told from Lacan's structural theory, that is to say, an importance to Lacan is that his Subject theory is not suggested or denied as a manual structure. On the contrary, it is a study of the relationship between the settled symbol that included in "real subject which is a unconscious one" and the symbolic subject hold- that is a metaphysical subject in general meaning. In Lacan's enlarged concept of subject beyond symbolic reality, it is noticeable that it gives justifiability to the union of a medium of different nature in artistic expression. We can recognize that the unconscious world is a living space which enables it to be a "condition of human being", not something dark under the surface of water through Magritte's(Rene Magritte, 1898~1967) surrealistic works. In other words, Magritte's art secures a core dimension of human nature through a mysterious gap of conscious and settled space. Magritte's drawings often evokes strange and unsettling feelings in people who view his paintings. This is because routine objects are found in "unsuitable" places from which we usually find them in our everyday lives. "Reality" in Magritte's paintings makes it aware that it is a strained field of concealment and disclosure basically between truths, and we can learn that his behavior to overturn to paint in-visible things is finally an effort to restore the "real subject" to the viewer's reality. In other words, such reversion arouses a nostalgic desire for the objects existing in their original appearance as they are - natural condition that our gaze had not been distorted yet by anamorphic stains. - and the state when we are conscious of them normally. Such desire offers an opportunity for us to get out of mental depression rather than operates to us as an abnormal crack. It's a successive process of effort to search for lost subject and Paradise Lost facing up to reality of subject human that is to be a subject of world and life are ousted from their place by structure and authority of culture.
Hemorrhagic tendency observed in open heart surgery patients has been attributed, among other causes, to increased fibrinolytic activity during extracorporeal circulation. But the exact mechanism of enhanced fibrinolytic activity which occurs during extracorporeal circulation is still unknown. So, we studied and compared the changes of parameters of fibrinolytic and protein C system according to time obtained from the plasma of 31 adult open heart surgery patients[EGG group] and 10 adult general thoracic surgery patients[control group], in order to confirm the hypothesis that the activated protein C system might affect the fibrinolytic system during extracorporeal circulation. In ECC group, the nature of the enhanced fibrinolytic activity that evolved during extracorporeal circulation was characterized by significant increase in fibrin degradation products[P < 0.01] and significant decrease in plasminogen and alpha2-antiplasmin[P < 0.05, P < 0.01] in spite of adequate amount of heparin administration. These changes were most pronounced in the early phase of extracorporeal circulation and normalized after termination of extracorporeal circulation. The results of these observations were the same after volume correction with the value of hematocrit. The change of volume corrected protein C ratio during extracorporeal circulation revealed similar pattern to those of plasminogen and alpha2-antiplasmin [P < 0.01], but volume corrected ratio of free protein S showed significant increase after the commencement of extracorporeal circulation then decreased after extracorporeal circulation. Although the above mentioned changes occur similarly in both bubble type oxygenator-used and membrane oxygenator-used patients groups, but the degree of decrease was more severe in membrane oxygenator-used patients group [P < 0.01] and showed much slower recovery to reach to the preextracorporeal circulation level. These results confirm the hypothesis that the enhanced fibrinolysis during extracorporeal circulation might be caused by the activation of protein C system and the activation is possibly linked to the appearance of thrombin from contact activation of blood after wide exposure to the synthetic surfaces of extracorporeal circuit. Key words: Extracorporeal circulation, Enhanced fibrinolysis, Protein C system.
In Taiwan, there are more the one hundred GPS tracking stations maintained by Ministry of the Interior (MOI), Academia Sinica, Central Weather Bureau and Central Geological Survey. In the further, they may be instead of the GPS controlling points after giving the lawful status. In other words, the engineers don't need to survey on the reference points when they are surveying in the field. They only need to download the GPS data via internet and process the observations in their company. The precise coordinates of the unknown points will be obtained. Therefore, the data qualities of the tracking stations are more and more important. In this study, six data quality indexes were adopted as follows: observations, cycle slips, multipath on L1, multipath on L2, clock offset and frequency stability. Besides, the relationships of the indexes and the positioning precision were found. The frequency stability of GPS receiver is the most important index, the cycle slip is the second index and the mutlipath is the third index. According to the results, the auto-analytical system of GPS data quality was established and the tracking stations were monitored. When the receiver got some problem or the station's environment changed, we hope to find and resolve the problems earlier to make sure the high data quality of the tracking stations. Moreover, we try to design a data quality verification to help users and let the engineers have more and more confidence when they use the data of GPS tracking stations.
It is the actual state of the medical society in our country that many graduates of medical schools want to be clinicians, and accordingly Korea's medical situation is relatively too focused on curative medicine. However, this situation is changing due to several factors including a growing number of doctors, inappropriate regulations for medical fees, changes in social status of doctors themselves, and excessive competition between doctors. Furthermore, we expect more advances in medical field of Korea since Korean government started to attach great importance to sciences and produced policies to support sciences, and as a result, more and more interest and effort in the fields of basic research including preventive medicine is being attached especially by young doctors as compared against the past. However, decline of clinical medicine fields doesn't always mean bright future for the field of preventive medicine. True future is possible and meaningful only when we prepare for it by ourselves. In other words, as the promising future is closed to one who spares no effort, we shouldn't fear to oppose unknown challenges and simultaneously need to support colleagues who bear such a positive mind. It is the most important thing for our preventive medicine doctors to evaluate the past and the present of preventive medicine and to foster a prospective mind to prepare for the future of preventive medicine. I set forth my several views according to directions for the development of preventive medicine which we already discussed and publicized in the academic circle of preventive medicine. Those directions are recommendation of clinical preventive medicine, promotion of preventive medicine specialty, fostering the next generations, improving the quality of genetic epidemiologic study, participation in control of environmental pollution and food safety, contribution to chronic disease control, and preparation to role in medical services for unified Korea.
This paper proposes the ESFVQ(energy subspace fuzzy vector quantization) that employs energy subspaces to reduce the quantizing distortion which is less than that of a fuzzy vector quatization. The ESFVQ is applied to a speaker adaptation method by which Korean words spoken by unknown speakers are recognized. By generating mapped codebooks with fuzzy histogram according to each energy subspace in the training procedure and by decoding a spoken word through the ESFVQ in the recognition proecedure, we attempt to improve the recognition rate. The performance of the ESFVQ is evaluated by measuring the quantizing distortion and the speaker adaptive recognition rate for DDD telephone area names uttered by 2 males and 1 female. The quatizing distortion of the ESFVQ is reduced by 22% than that of a vector quantization and by 5% than that of a fuzzy vector quantization, and the speaker adaptive recognition rate of the ESFVQ is increased by 26% than that without a speaker adaptation and by 11% than that of a vector quantization.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of narrative and expository texts on incidental vocabulary learning of Korean university EFL learners while reading. The experimental groups were divided into 3 groups. The first experimental group were exposed to narrative texts and second group received expository texts. And the third group were administered narrative and expository texts alternately. The vocabulary tests were conducted after the last session to assess the incidental vocabulary gains of the learners. The results indicated the superiority of the expository texts over narratives in terms of enhancing learners' incidental acquisition of unknown words. Moreover, the results showed that the blended reading group of expository and narrative texts did better on the vocabulary gains than those of narrative reading group and expository reading group. However, in the essay writing assessment, the expository group committed the most vocabulary errors in writing.

Generally, a mobile robot is moved by original input programs. However, it is very hard for a non-expert to change the program generating the moving path of a mobile robot, because he doesn't know almost the teaching command and operating method for driving the robot. Therefore, the teaching method with speech command for a handicapped person without hands or a non-expert without an expert knowledge to generate the path is required gradually. In this study, for easily teaching the moving path of the autonomous mobile robot, the autonomous mobile robot with the function of speech recognition is developed. The use of human voice as the teaching method provides more convenient user-interface for mobile robot. To implement the teaching function, the designed robot system is composed of three separated control modules, which are speech preprocessing module, DC servo motor control module, and main control module. In this study, we design and implement a speaker dependent isolated word recognition system for creating moving path of an autonomous mobile robot in the unknown environment. The system uses word-level Hidden Markov Models(HMM) for designated command vocabularies to control a mobile robot, and it has postprocessing by neural network according to the condition based on confidence score. As the spectral analysis method, we use a filter-bank analysis model to extract of features of the voice. The proposed word recognition system is tested using 33 Korean words for control of the mobile robot navigation, and we also evaluate the performance of navigation of a mobile robot using only voice command.
Korean is free of omission of sentence elements and modifying scope, so managing it on morphological analyzer is better than parser. In this paper, we propose functional expansion methods of the morphological analyzer to ease the burden of parsing. This method is a longest phrase matching method. When the series of several morpheme have one syntax category by processing of Unknown-words, Compound verbs, Compound nouns, Numbers and Symbols, our method combines them into a syntactic unit. And then, it is to treat by giving them a semantic features as syntax unit. The proposed morphological analysis method removes unnecessary morphological ambiguities and deceases results of morphological analysis, so improves accuracy of tagger and parser. By empirical results, we found that our method deceases 73.4% of Parsing tree and 52.4% of parsing time on average.

A Korean morphological analyzer adopts sequence-to-sequence (seq2seq) model, which can generate an output sequence of different length from an input. In general, a seq2seq based Korean morphological analyzer takes a syllable-unit based sequence as an input, and output a syllable-unit based sequence. Syllable-based morphological analysis has the advantage that unknown words can be easily handled, but has the disadvantages that morpheme-based information is ignored. In this paper, we propose a reranking model as a post-processor of seq2seq model that can improve the accuracy of morphological analysis. The seq2seq based morphological analyzer can generate K results by using a beam-search method. The reranking model exploits morpheme-unit embedding information as well as n-gram of morphemes in order to reorder K results. The experimental results show that the reranking model can improve 1.17% F1 score comparing with the original seq2seq model.
Newly discovered ${\lceil}Gogeummyeongjakga{\rfloor}$ is a copy collection of the old poetry SI-JO, which is specified in the book of yellow Gojeongji. {$\lceil}Gogeummyeongjakga{\rfloor}$ is guessed to be copied before the 17th year of King Yeongjo's reign(1740) and thus it's the early collection in the history of the Korean verse, Shijo. According to our research, there are 78poems in the collection and nine out of them hasn't been yet reported to the Korean Academy. The characteristics of Shijo in the book are followed. First. The collection is different from other books since the book was written in Korean instead of Chinese characters, which shows the uniqueness of the Korean literature in the late 17th and the early 18th century. Secondly, there are different versions of a poem in the collection, which is quite unusual in the other collections. There are different words or phrases used in different versions and even the whole verse is modified in some cases. Thirdly. two out of newly discovered nine short lyric songs is transformed from and that are kind of Chinese Ak-Bu. By the way, the compiler of ${\lceil}Gogeummyeongjakga{\rfloor}$ seemed to understand the co-relation between Ak-Bu and Shijo. and that's why he chose transformed Shijo from Ak-Bu not Chinese poetry. Among nine poems, <9> and <10> are newly discovered responding songs unknown up till now.
