Objectives: The study investigated the difficulties experienced by endodontics researchers around the world in conducting studies and writing papers. Materials and Methods: A survey consisting of 18 questions on the difficulties experienced by endodontics researchers in performing studies and writing papers was e-mailed to academics in the field of endodontics working at 202 universities. The independent risk factors were analyzed using binary logistic regression at a significance level of 0.05. Results: A total of 581 individuals (10.7%) agreed to participate in the study. Almost half the participants (48.2%) reported that they had received some type of training in conducting studies and writing papers. In response to the question, "Do you get help from a statistician to perform the statistical analyses of your studies?," 77.1% answered "yes." Around 40% of the participants stated that the need to obtain ethical approval negatively affected their desire to conduct studies. The participants' regions had no effect on the reported difficulties associated with writing papers in English or conducting statistical analyses (p > 0.05). Most participants (81.8%) reported difficulties in writing the Discussion section, regardless of their region, academic degrees, or years of experience. Conclusions: The participants stated they experienced difficulties in many areas, such as conducting statistical analyses, finding new ideas, and writing in English. Engaging in a detailed examination of ethics committee rules, expanding biostatistics education, increasing the number of institutions providing research funding, and increasing the number of endodontics journals can increase the enthusiasm of endodontics researchers to publish papers.

The developments and implementations of the structural health monitoring (SHM) system for large infrastructures have been gradually recognized by researchers, engineers and administrative authorities in the last decades. This paper summarizes an updated review on innovations and applications in SHM for infrastructures carried out by researchers at Dalian University of Technology. Invented sensors and data acquisition system are firstly briefly described. And then, some proposed theories and methods including the sensing technology, sensor placement method, signal processing and data fusion, system identification and damage detection are discussed in details. Following those, the activities on the standardization of SHM and several case applications on specific types of structure are reviewed. Finally, existing problems and promising research efforts in the field of SHM are given.

In this paper, nonlinear vibration of Euler-Bernoulli beams resting on linear elastic foundation is studied. It has been tried to prepare a semi-analytical solution for whole domain of vibration. Only one iteration lead us to high accurate solution. The effects of linear elastic foundation on the response of the beam vibration are considered and studied. The effects of important parameters on the ratio of nonlinear to linear frequency of the system are studied. The results are compared with numerical solution using Runge-Kutta $4^{th}$ technique. It has been shown that the Max-Min approach can be easily extended in nonlinear partial differential equations.

TSA(thaumasite sulfate attack) is one of the important and prevailing phenomena to damage concrete structures by sulfate attack. In the present study, the thaumasite ($CaSiO_3{\cdot}CaSO_3{\cdot}CaSO_4{\cdot}15H_2O$) has been observed by the authors and other researchers in concrete samples in laboratory or field. Microstructural and mechanical observations clearly confirm that the thaumasite formation is greatly associated with sulfate attack indicating mass loss, expansion and spalling in the sample. This study summarizes the results of observation carried out by the authors and researchers on TSA which thaumasite formation has been identified.

Scientific space, one can observe the differentiation of the definition of the terms "value", "value orientations" because it does not yet have a clear standard definition. Many researchers have dealt with this topic, researched, analyzed, observed, and made conclusions. However, there is still a rich scope for research of such phenomena of personal structure as value orientations. Psychologists-researchers who, in their scientific, practical, and theoretical works, dealt with the topic of values and value orientations and came to the general conclusion that values are a structural component of a personality, with the help of which a person achieves a goal, sets this goal, and characterizes position in life. Saw the relationship between values and the basic structures of the personality, including value orientations-considered in values a system of orientation and personality attitudes.
