철도가 가져온 사회경제적 변화에 관한 정성적 연구 (A Historical Review of Socio-economic Changes of Railroad)

  • 본 논문은 우리나라에서 철도가 가져온 사회경제적 변화에 대해 분석하였다. 우리나라 철도는 1899년 개통된 이후 금년으로 110주년이 되었는데 철도는 그동안 교통뿐만 아니라 국토의 공간구조, 새로운 도시의 형성 등 사회경제적으로 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 대전은 좋은 예의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 철도가 가져온 변화를 구체적인 사례를 통해 통행시간의 변화, 도시발전과 인구변화, 산업의 변화, 문화와 관광의 변화 등을 분석하였다. 향후 이러한 연구는 다른나라와의 비교연구를 통해 철도가 가진 보편적인 기능과 한국철도의 독특성을 파악하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

  • The realization of the Internet and Electronic Commerce through the progress development of the information & communication has changed the transition of the financial settlement system all of the world. And Electronic Commerce has becoming the most important tools to decide the value from the real money, existing bills, coins to the Electronic Money. Electronic Money is very useful materials with Electronic Wallet at cyber times in the future. So that reason, I studied Electronic Money's present situation & after development direction in Korea. And the purpose of this paper is to introduce Electronic Money's modem definition and to analysis the common use situation, operation at home and abroad at Electronic Commerce times. In add to investigated advanced countries Electronic Money utilization and drawed out current events point. So I suggest to this like point, in honour of Electronic Money's common use in Korea. First to establish universality. Second, to make various terminals and the powerful networking structure. Third, to establish stability. Fourth, renovating the system goes side by side. Futhermore, to develop Electronic Money's, it is necessary to make skilled labour and to learn foreign advanced technology.

게임접근성의 사회적 의미에 대한 연구 (A Study of Social Meaning of Game Accessibility)

  • 웹 접근성 조치 의무화 시행에 따라 웹 접근성에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 웹 접근성은 장애인뿐만 아니라 비장애인을 포함하며, 사람들은 장애적 상황에 직면하게 되고, 연령이 높아 질수록 신체적 기능 저하로 인해 점진적 장애적 상황이 된다는 점에서 장애적 상황은 누구에게나 해당된다. 접근성은 보편성의 가치를 지향한다. 게임은 현대사회의 대표적 문화활동이 되고 있지만, 한국사회에서 여전히 특별한 소수문화로 인식하는 경향이 많다. 게임을 둘러싼 갈등은 게임에 대한 사회적 이해의 전제적 조건이 되는 접근성 관점에서 볼 필요가 있다. 게임접근성은 보편적 문화적 가치의 구현, 게임 리터러시 전제 조건, 새로운 비즈니스 창출, 콘텐츠접근성의 전망이란 측면에서 사회적 의미를 함축하고 있다.

가우시안 창을 이용한 번호판 영역 검출 (License Plates Detection Using a Gaussian Windows)

  • 본 논문은 차량 번호판 중앙부 위치값을 기반으로 한 신경망을 이용하여 차량의 번호판 영역을 추출하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 임의의 숫자들로 정의된 번호판영역에 대한 학습패턴과 넓은 범위를 수용할 수 있도록 한 신경망의 학습패턴을 이용하여 보다 효율적인 방법을 제시하였다. 학습패턴으로 차량 번호판 인식의 최적화을 이루었고 차량번호 및 헤드라이트 부분의 은닉효과와, 학습패턴의 확대 및 감소에 대하여 연구하였다. 위의 과정을 통하여 지하주차장에서 595여대의 자동차에 대하여 번호판 영역을 추출한 결과 98.5%의 인식율을 보여주었다.

원형 실린더를 지나는 난류 유동장의 직접수치해석과 큰 에디모사를 위한 스케일 간 상호작용 연구 (DNS and Analysis on the Interscale Interactions of the Turbulent Flow past a Circular Cylinder for Large Eddy Simulation)

  • Stochastic nature of subgrid-scale stress causes the predictability problem in large eddy simulation (LES) by which the LES solution field decorrelates with field from filtered directnumerical simulation (DNS). In order to evaluate the predictability limit in a priori sense, the information on the interplay between resolved scale and subgrid-scale (SGS) is required. In this study, the analysis on the inter-scale interaction is performed by applying tophat and cutoff filters to DNS database of flow over a circular cylinder at Reynolds number of 3900. The effect of filter shape is investigated on the interpretation of correlation between scales. A critique is given on the use of tophat filter for SGS analysis using DNS database. It is shown that correlations between Karman vortex and SGS kinetic energy drastically decrease when the cutoff filter is used, which implies that the small scale universality holds even in the presence of the large scale coherent structure.

다문화 교과 프로그램이 간호대학생의 다문화 수용성 및 역량에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Multicultural Course on the Multicultural Acceptability and Competency of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of a multicultural course on nursing students' multicultural acceptability and competency. Method: The research design for this study was a non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized pre- and post-test. The experimental group (n=28) took 13 weeks of the multicultural course, while the control group (n=28) received only regular classes over the same period. Pre- and post-tests were done to identify the effects of the program. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using the PASW 18.0 program. Results: All indices of multicultural acceptability and competency in the experimental group were significantly higher than that of control group after the program, except for two: universality (a measure of multicultural acceptability) and multicultural awareness (a measure of multicultural competency). Conclusion: These results suggest that the multicultural course was effective in elevating the level of multicultural acceptability and competency among nursing students.

자유 평면 제트유동 해석을 위한 간혈도 난류모델의 개발 (Development of the intermittency turbulence model for a plane jet flow)

  • 본 연구에서는 간헐적인 유동에 의거한 체적 대류 모델을 설정하고, 구배 확 산 모델에 유동장의 중심부와 외부에서 서로 다른 무게값을 부여하는 혼성 확산 모델 (hybrid diffusion model)을 제안하며, 이 모델을 검증하기 위한 첫 단계로서 평면 제 트 유동에 대하여 수치 계산을 수행하다. 여기에는 간헐도에 대한 난류 전달 방정식 이 필요한데 이 방정식의 생성항(production term)은 곧 외부의 비회전 유동이 난류성 유체로 유입되는 정도를 의미하게 된다.

  • The change of society causes the change of art necessarily. The experiments of plastic art which as been done by avant-garde movements at early 20th century have pursued ″Object drama″ consistently as trials of more or less abstract drama. As these plastic arts have used genre or media like circuses, sports, variate, films, screen play, newspapers and a quick method which had not been considered suitable for conventional aesthetic plastic arts, these arts looked provocative and, these provocative plastic arts have ignored universality shown in conventional arts and have caused extreme ″sensation″ accordingly. As a result, abstract art based on style which is against aestheticism and naturalism has been generalized. This style does not deny customary laws of art wholly but it requires new concept. Having ignored traditional styles, a new compositive and responsive way of composition which does not deviate from tradition has been pursued. A new and general understanding of arts which do not deny all conventionally-effective standards extremely has been developed. In this regard, this study analyzes characteristics of Bauhaus Theater which has tried to apply new technology engineering to plastic art as an integrated concept of art and technology amongst the directions of development of provocation, innovation and revolution in case of the plastic art of stage painting, and analyzes how this influences on modern painting in terms of avant-garde arts reviewing the meaning of this theory.

Area Extraction of License Plates Using an Artificial Neural Network

  • In the current study, the authors propose a method for extracting license plate regions by means of a neural network trained to output the plate's center of gravity. The method is shown to be effective. Since the learning pattern presentation positions are defined by random numbers, a different pattern is submitted to the neural network for learning each time, which enables it to form a neural network with high universality of coverage. The article discusses issues of the optimal learning surface for a license plate covered by the learning pattern, the effect of suppression learning of the number and pattern enlargement/reduction and of concentration value conversion. Results of evaluation tests based on pictures of 595 vehicles taken at an under-ground parking garage demonstrated detection rates of 98.5%, 98.7%, and 100%, respectively.

Mathematical Modeling and Control for A Single Winding Bearingless Flywheel Motor in Electric/Suspension Mode

  • With the increase of the production of energy from renewable, it becomes important to look at techniques to store this energy. Therefore, a single winding bearingless flywheel motor (SWBFM) specially for flywheel energy storage system is introduced. For the control system of SWBFM, coupling between the torque and the suspension subsystems exists inevitably. It is necessary to build a reasonable radial force mathematical model to precisely control SWBFM. However, SWBFM has twelve independently controlled windings which leads to high-order matrix transformation and complex differential calculation in the process of mathematical modeling based on virtual displacement method. In this frame, a Maxwell tensor modeling method which is no need the detailed derivation and complex theoretical computation is present. Moreover, it possesses advantages of universality, accuracy, and directness. The fringing magnetic path is improved from straight and circular lines to elliptical line and the rationality of elliptical line is verified by virtual displacement theory according to electromagnetic torque characteristics. A correction function is taken to increase the model accuracy based on finite element analysis. Simulation and experimental results show that the control system of SWBFM with radial force mathematical model based on Maxwell tensor method is feasible and has high precision.
