Also, we tried to analyze the subjects related to happiness and unhappiness by using LDA topic modeling. As the result, the condition of happiness and unhappiness were the top topics extracted from each field. We conducted the second detailed analysis based on the data of condition of the happiness and unhappiness which are the top topics of the previous analysis. From the second analysis result, we proposed several ways to enhance happiness from the perspective of government, corporate, family, education, social welfare. This paper is meaningful because it catches the condition of happiness and unhappiness based on a real web data as well as transform the data into the knowledge. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of happiness and unhappiness in Korean society through text mining analysis. Similar words with keywords(happiness/unhappiness) from online news portal are extracted using Word2Vec and TF-IDF method. We also use the K-LIWC dictionary to perform the sentiment analysis of words associated with happiness and unhappiness. In TF-IDF analysis, happiness and unhappiness are highly related to social factors and social issues of the year. In Word2Vec analysis, 'Hope' has been similar with happiness for six years. In K-LIWC analysis, 'money/financial issues', 'school', 'communication' is highly related with happiness and unhappiness. In addition, 'physical condition and symptom' is highly related to unhappiness. Implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research are also discussed.
As Korea became one of the oldest countries in the world, successful aging emerged as an important issue to individuals as well as to society. This study aims to determine not only the Korean seniors' happiness and unhappiness factors but also the means to enhance their happiness and deal with unhappiness. We collected news articles related to the happiness and unhappiness of seniors with nine keywords based on Alderfer's ERG Theory. We then applied a topic modeling technique, Latent Dirichlet Allocation, to examine the main issues underlying the seniors' happiness and unhappiness. According to the analysis, we investigated the conditions of happiness and unhappiness by inspecting the topics based on each keyword. We also conducted a detailed analysis based on the main factors from topic modeling. We proposed specific ways to increase and overcome the happiness and unhappiness of seniors, respectively, in terms of government, corporate, family, and other social welfare organizations. This study indicates the major factors that affect the happiness and unhappiness of seniors. Specific methods to boost happiness and relief unhappiness are suggested from the additional analysis.
Recently, 'happiness' has become a major issue of national level, exceeding the matter of personal issue. Especially, Korea has actually increased its GDP by focusing on the economic growth for decades, and now it has achieved the economic/technical development as an IT power. However, Korean people's satisfaction with life called 'happiness index' is moving back every year. Even though there have been continuous efforts to enhance the national happiness by mentioning it as an essential issue in the national level, there are not many researches related to it. This study drew measures to enhance happiness by extracting happiness factors and unhappiness factors of Korea through social network service. Especially, it aims to analyze, compare, and apply happiness factors and unhappiness factors of three countries such as the US, UK, and Brazil with higher happiness indexes than Korea. For this, through the topic modeling of text mining technique, postings including keywords about happiness and unhappiness were collected/analyzed from Twitter of Korea, the US, UK, and Brazil. The significance of this study is to discuss measures to increase happiness and to decrease unhappiness by mining/analyzing the actual public opinions about happiness and unhappiness in four countries like Korea, the US, UK, and Brazil by using the topic modeling. Through this, the quality of life of Korean people could be improved by suggesting measures to enhance happiness and to decrease unhappiness in the level of individual, family, society, and government.
The study explores how academic strain, unhappiness, and mobile phone dependency among adolescents have changed over time. And we conducted the longitudinal and complex analysis on the influence of academic strain on unhappiness and mobile phone dependency in order to search the ways to prevent a vicious circle among them. We used general strain theory as a conceptual research frame and analysed the data of 1,589 respondents of the 2nd~4th Korean Children and Youth Panel with latent growth modeling. It was found that the levels of academic strain, unhappiness, and mobile phone dependency among adolescents were linearly increased across time. Academic strain initial status positively affected unhappiness initial status and both the initial status and change rate of mobile phone dependency. The change rate of unhappiness positively affected that of mobile phone dependency. Academic strain change rate positively influenced that of mobile phone dependency mediated by unhappiness change rate. We provided useful implications to academic activities, negative emotions, and mobile phone dependency for adolescents and suggested future studies about reasons of the changes of those variables.

Emotion Recognition of four compared to the numerical data is measured by brightness. OpenCV implementation through evaluation graph the stress intensity contrast, tranquility, happiness, unhappiness with changes in the value of four, separated by sensitivity to computing. Contrast sensitivity of computing the brightness according to the input value 'unhappy' to 'happy' or 'stress' to 'calm' the emotional changes are implemented. Emotion computing the regularity of the image to calculate the sensitivity localized computing system can be controlled according to the emotion of the contrast value of the brightness changes are implemented. The future direction of industry on the application of emotion recognition will play a positive role.
This study investigates happy life experiences and their emotional responses to these experiences with a sample of Korean students and adults. A total of 489 Korean university students and adults completed an open-ended questionnaire developed by the present researchers. Three sets of results have been found. First, while experiences of achievement and failure affect the strength of feelings of happiness or unhappiness, social relationships with family members and friends affect the frequency of feelings of happiness or unhappiness. Second, while strong positive affects are aroused by sense of achievement and pride, frequent positive affects are aroused by feeling of calmness and positive relational emotions (such as Jung - deep affection and attachment). Third, while strong negative affects are aroused by sense of frustration and sadness, frequent negative affects are aroused by anxiety and negative relational emotions (such as the sense of indebtedness and shame). These results indicate that the interpersonal relationships with family members and friends and personal achievements and failures influence the subjective well-being of feeling happy or unhappy with people's lives.

This study was conducted to investigate the correlation between frequency of high-caffeine energy drink intake in adolescents and their mental health status using data from the Korean adolescent health behaviors online survey (2014-15). Mental health was classified by the five categories: Perception of stress (PS), Insufficient relief of fatigue after sleep (IRFS), Experience of sadness despair (SD), Suicidal ideation (SI), and Subjective unhappiness (SU). Regarding general characteristics, higher age, height, and body weight of subjects were associated with higher frequency of high-caffeine energy drink (HCED) intake (p< .0001). In the OR analysis, when the lowest group (${\leq}2/wk$) and highest group ($1{\geq}day$) were compared, the highest group showed significantly higher OR in all five categories of mental health. According to gender, males did not show better PS, SD, and SI than females who had a high frequency of HCED (p for trend<.0001). According to school level, middle school students showed a higher risk rate than high school students in PS, IRFS, and SD (p for trend< .0001). Based on the above results, higher frequency of HCED intake among adolescents was associated with more adverse effects on mental health.
