우리나라 대학생들의 운동학 그래프 이해 능력 (Testing undergraduate interpretation of kinematics graphs)

  • 그래프는 물리학자들이나 물리교육자들에게는 좋은 의사소통 도구가 되며, 실험세계를 그래프로 보여줄수 있는 정보전달의 기능을 수행하는 것으로 여겨졌다. 따라서 그래프를 작성하고 해석할 줄 아는 능력은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 운동학 그래프 해석 능력 검사 도구를 이용하여 우리나라 광역시 180명 대학생들의 운동학 그래프 이해 능력을 조사하였다. 우리나라 대학생들은 위치-시간 그래프에서 속도를 결정하거나, 속도-시간 그래프에서 가속도나 변위를 결정하는 기능에서 높은 정답률을 보였으며, 위치-시간 그래프를 속도-시간 그래프로 변환하거나 가속도-시간 그래프로 변환하는 기능에서 가장 낮은 정답률을 보였다. 또한 그래프와 관련된 지문을 연결하는 기능도 다른 기능들에 비하여 비교적 낮은 정답률을 보였다.

SNS 중독경향성과 정신건강이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of SNS Addiction Tendency and Mental Health on Adjustment to College life)

  • 본 연구는 본 연구는 대학생들의 SNS 중독경향성과 정신건강이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 G시에 소재한 1개 4년제 대학교 재학생 197명이며, 수집된 자료는 기술통계와 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient를 실시하였고, 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향요인은 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활 적응의 차이는 성별, 학년, 건강상태, 스트레스, 삶의 만족도 등이었으며, 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활 적응의 차이는 성별, 학년, 건강상태, 스트레스, 삶의 만족도 등이었다. 셋째, 일반적 특성에 따른 SNS 중독경향성의 차이는 성별이었다. 넷째, 일반적 특성에 따른 정신건강 수준의 차이는 성별, 건강상태, 스트레스, 삶의 만족도 등이었다. 다섯째, 대학생활 적응과 정신건강 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 나타났다. 여섯째, 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별과 정신건강으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 대학생활 적응을 돕기 위해 우선적으로 정신건강 증진을 위한 상담과 지속적인 관리가 필요하며, 앞으로 다각적인 적응프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

한국판 학생 진로구성척도(Korean Student Career Construction Inventory)의 타당화 연구: 초기 성인기를 중심으로 (The Validation of Korean Student Career Construction Inventory: Focusing on emerging adulthood)

  • 본 연구는 진로적응모형의 진로적응반응을 측정하기 위해 개발된 학생 진로구성척도를 한국어로 번안하고 국내 대학생을 대상으로 타당화하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 진로구성척도의 요인구조를 확인하고 대학생과 대학원생 집단의 측정동일성을 검증하였으며, 내적일치도 및 재검사 신뢰도를 평가하고 진로관련 척도들과의 준거관련 타당도를 살펴보았다. 총 294명의 연구참여자는 번안된 진로구성척도(Student Career Construction Inventory)와 진로적응성 척도(Career Adaptability Scale) 및 진로정체성 척도를 온라인 설문으로 작성하였다. 재검사 신뢰도 검증을 위해 125명의 참여자가 3개월 후 진로구성척도 설문에 같은 방식으로 참여하였다. 검사 결과 원척도와 동일한 18문항 4요인 구조가 지지되었으며, 대학생과 대학원생의 측정동일성이 지지되었다. 내적 일치도 및 재검사 신뢰도 역시 적절한 수준으로 나타났다. 진로구성척도는 진로적응성과 정적인 상관을 보였으며, 다차원적 진로정체성의 탐색 및 몰입 차원과는 정적상관을, 재고 차원과는 부적 상관을 나타내었다. 단일차원의 진로정체성과도 정적인 상관이 나타났다. 본 결과는 한국판 학생 진로구성척도가 원척도와 유사한 심리측정적 속성을 가지고 있으며 대학생과 대학원생 모두에게 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

의과대학 학생인턴제의 운영 일례 연구 (The Student Internship Experience)

  • Recently, the student internship has been introduced in medical schools as a way of preparing students with training experience and medical knowledge by performing clinical practice. This study discusses student internship management and ways to operate the internship effectively. Catholic University of Daegu School of Medicine has set up a 6-week internship program for fourth-year undergraduate students. In most of the sections, students have shown their satisfaction, particularly when they have received appropriate feedback and attention from their professors. The students found that performing the evaluation and treatment of patients and individual chart recording were informative and helpful. However, they felt a lack of basic knowledge and clinical skills and had difficulty in understanding their roles and in time management. The success of an internship depends on the passion and interest that professors show for their students along with active support from the other faculty and thoughtful consideration of patients and all their friends and family members. In addition, with growing awareness of the need for the student internship, it is necessary that the school executive provide financial and administrative support to the faculty and staff, clarify roles and the work needed to perform the tasks, ensure substantiality of the individual program with professors or departments, provide enough preliminary courses, and monitor outcomes and reflection.

대학생의 노인과 노화에 대한 태도가 조모와의 친밀감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of undergraduate students' Attiitudes toward the elderly and aging on grandmother-grandchild intimacy)

  • This study examines undergraduate students' intimacy toward the grandmother and their attitudes toward the elderly and aging. The study also identifies the variances that influence undergraduate students' intimacy toward the grandmother. The subjects were 397 undergraduates. Statistical analysis was conducted to examine frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, Duncan test, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The undergraduates' attitudes were mid-range, but their intimacy level toward their grandmother was high. 2) The undergraduates' intimacy level toward the grandmother differed significantly according to gender, experience of cohabitation, the presence of her, and religion, and it showed a significant correlation with attitudes toward the elderly and aging traits, period of cohabitation, and frequent contact with the grandmother. The undergraduates' intimacy level toward grandmother-in-low, however, was significantly different according to the religion. There was also had a significant correlation with the undergraduate students' attitudes toward the elderly and aging traits. 3) The variables that affect the undergraduates' intimacy level toward the grandmother were attitude, frequency of contact with the grandmother, gender, period of cohabitation, experience of cohabitation, and the presence of the grandmother, which explained about 35% of total variance. Attitudes toward the elderly and aging traits were very important variables for undergraduates' intimacy with their grandmother. The undergraduates' intimacy toward grandmother-in-low was affected by the variables of attitude, religion, experience of volunteer, frequency of contact with the grandmother, gender, and the presence of grandmother, which explained about 24% of the total variance. Attitude toward the elderly and aging traits were the most important variables for undergraduates' intimacy with their grandmother-in-low.

간호대학생의 메타인지 영향요인분석 (Factors related to the undergraduate nursing students' metacognition)

  • 메타인지는 학습자가 문제 해결을 위해 목표 및 계획을 수립하고 평가해 나가는 인지의 결과물로써 간호사의 임상적 역량 중에 핵심역량이다. 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 메타인지에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고자 함이다. 2017년 8월 15일부터 10월 19일까지 서울과 경기도에 위치한 간호대학의 205명 대학생에게 메타인지, 자기주도 학습능력, 그릿, 학습환경, 학습유형에 대해 설문조사를 시행하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS/Win 22.0 program를 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 메타인지는 자기주도 학습능력, 그릿 및 학습환경과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며 자기주도 학습능력과 그릿은 간호대학생의 메타인지에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 자기주도 학습능력과 그릿을 높여 문제해결을 위한 목표설정에 중요한 영향을 미치는 메타인지 수준을 높일 수 있는 교육과정 개발이 필요하다.

Undergraduate Mathematics Enhanced With Graphing Technology

  • The School of Mathematical Sciences at University Sains Malaysia has offered a laboratory course on the integration of hand-held technology into the teaching and learning of mathematics since the beginning of the 2001/2002 academic year. This inquiry-based course highlights the explorations and application of mathematics in a data rich modeling environment. In addition, the course addresses several issues related to the effective integration of such technology into the mathematics curriculum. This paper discusses the appropriate use of graphing technology to present mathematical concepts and to support student's understanding in a student-centered learning environment, shares knowledge on the new mathematics that was made possible by hand-held technology, and summarizes student reactions to this innovative learning mode.

문제중심학습 개념의 환자관리 Core Skill-TLP 교육교재 개발 및 적용 (An Examples Development and Implementation of Core Skill-TLP Package in Patient Management)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop and apply a Core Skill-TLP(Core Skill-Tutorial, Laboratory, Practicum) package in Patient Management and to effect of core skill-TLP education. Methods : This study was used to developed Patient Management' Core Skill-TLP package throughout 14 steps of Core Skill-TLP package development model. Then, Core Skill-TLP Learning methodology was implemented in first year student in the undergraduate emergency medical technology, and survey was done. Results : 1. Core Skill-TLP package model was presented based on conceptual model of PBL(S-PBL). 2, The student in OSCE did significantly better in clinical patient management core skills performance. 3. As to the satisfaction of Core Skill-TLP package management, student, tutor and self-satisfaction score was 3.21, 3.42, 3.38 respectively. Conclusion : This study was suggested that Core Skill-TLP education would be necessary with well-structured package and achieved advantage of simulation and PBL.

장기기증 교육이 대학생의 장기기증에 대한 지식, 태도, 실천의지에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Organ Donation Education on Undergraduate Students' Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Will to Organ Donation)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effects of organ donation education on undergraduate students' knowledge, attitude and practice will to organ donation. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental design. A total of 164 students from K university, Seoul, Korea were recruited; 74 in the experimental group and 90 in the control group. The experimental group received an education on organ donation developed by researchers. A structured questionnaire was used to measure the student's knowledge, attitude and practice will to organ donation before and after the education. Data were analyzed using t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and ANCOVA with SPSS WIN 21.0 program. Results: After the intervention, we found that the scores of knowledge, knowledge of the definition of brain death, donation attitude, total scores of attitude, emotional attitude, and behavioral attitude were significantly higher in the experimental group than the those of control group. Total knowledge scores were positively correlated with subscales of the knowledge scale and all subscales of attitude toward organ donation. Conclusion: The results indicate that organ donation education is effective to enhance knowledge and attitude to organ donation in undergraduate students.

공과대학 여학생의 전공만족과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계 탐색 (Exploring the Relationships between Major Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being of Female Engineering Students)

  • This research aims to examine the relationship between major satisfaction and psychological well-being of female engineering students. To achieve this goal, first, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among engineering students were examined. Second, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among female undergraduate students were investigated. In addition, the effects of psychological well-being, as perceived by undergraduate students by gender and major, on major satisfaction were explored. A total of three hundred and forty-nine (349) undergraduate students from two universities in Korea responded to survey based on a two-variables scale. The findings were that, firstly, male engineering students scored higher in two variables including their most sub-factors, and that gender differences in relation satisfaction as well as positive relationship with others, autonomy, and environmental mastery were statistically significant. Secondly, female engineering students scored higher in major satisfaction and several sub-factors of two variables, and that major differences in major satisfaction (total), social perception satisfaction, and autonomy - a sub-factor of psychological well-being - were statistically significant. Thirdly, a positive correlation among major satisfaction and psychological well-being was identified. Finally, psychological well-being could explain about 19% of major satisfaction. The practical implications of these findings are discussed herein, with attention on education for promotion of major satisfaction.
