능동 자기 베어링을 위한 동기 노치필터 제어기와 스위칭 제어기의 성능 비교 연구 (Comparative Study of Performance of Switching Control and Synchronous Notch Filter Control for Active Magnetic Bearings)

  • 능동 자기베어링의 바이어스 선형화 방법은 자기베어링의 동역학적 성능과 선형성을 확보하지만, 바이어스 전류에 의한 상시 소모전력이 발생하여 시스템의 효율이 저하된다. 반면, 스위칭 제어기는 바이어스 전류를 사용하지 않아 베어링의 소비 전력을 최소화할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 능동 자기베어링 시스템에 적용되는 스위칭 제어기와 동기 노치필터를 포함하는 비례-미분 제어기의 성능을 비교하였다. 공정하고 객관적인 비교를 위해 기준제어기인 동기 노치필터 제어기를 합리적으로 설계하고, 스위칭 제어기가 기준제어기와 동일한 동역학 특성을 갖도록 하였다. 회전축의 굽힘 유연모드 및 센서와 증폭기의 특성을 포함하는 시스템의 동역학 모델을 수립하고 성능 비교 지표를 수립하였다. 불평형 질량에 응답 측면에서 제어기를 비교하여, 저속 영역에서 스위칭 제어기가 기준제어기 대비 10 배 이상 동손을 저감할 수 있으나, 회전축의 굽힘 유연모드와 일치하는 회전 속도 근방에서는 스위칭 제어기가 유효하지 않음을 확인하였다.

  • The performance of an isolated high voltage full bridge converter is improved using a voltage doubler. In a conventional high voltage full bridge converter, the diode of the transformer secondary voltage undergoes a voltage spike due to the leakage inductance of the transformer and the resonance occurring with the parasitic capacitance of the diode. In addition, in the phase shift control, conduction loss largely increases from the freewheeling mode because of the circulating current. The efficiency of the converter is thus reduced. However, in the proposed converter, the high voltage dual converter consists of a voltage doubler because the circulating current of the converter is reduced to increase efficiency. On the other hand, in the proposed converter, an input current is distributed when using parallel input / serial output and the output voltage can be doubled. However, the voltages in the 2 serial DC links might be unbalanced due to line impedance, passive and active components impedance, and sensor error. Considering these problems, DC injection is performed due to the complementary operations of half bridge inverters as well as the disadvantage of the unbalance in the DC link. Therefore, the serial output of the converter needs to control the balance of the algorithm. In this paper, the performance of the conventional converter is improved and a balance control algorithm is proposed for the proposed converter. Also, the system of the 1.5[kW] PCS is verified through an experiment examining the operation and stability.

순시적인 전압 sag 보상기에 대한 제어 알고리즘의 해석 (Analysis of Control Algorithm for Instantaneous Voltage Sag Corrector)

  • 본 논문은 배전계통의 전력품질 개선을 위한 순시 전압강하 보상기의 제어 알고리즘에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 특별히 순시적인 전압강하의 원인중 가장 대표적인 1선 지락사고 시에 발생하는 불평형과 비대칭 문제를 해석하기 위하여 새로운 대칭성분 검출 기법을 제안하였다. 제안되 방법은 간단한 연산만을 사용하며, 전압보상을 위한 대칭성분의 제어 기준값이 별도의 위상검출 과정을 거치지 않고도 직류 값으로 표현되도록 하였다. 그리고 기준전압의 발생 시에 IEC에서 규정하고 있는 UF와 MF를 사용하도록 하였다. 제안된 제어기법을 사용하면 보상장치는 매우 빠른 응답특성을 가지고 보상된 전압 파형의 총고조파왜형률(THD)도 매우 낮게 된다. 마지막으로 EMTDC 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

고진공 터보 분자펌프용 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 선형 제어시스템 (Digital Linear Control System for a Magnetic Bearing System of a High Vacuum Turbomolecular Pump)

  • 본 논문에서는 고진공용 터보분자펌프의 비접촉 고속회전을 위한 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 제어시스템의 설계에 대하여 소개하였으며, 실례로 800 l/s급의 고진공 펌프에 대하여 축 유연모드의 후방향 위험속도를 넘는 최대 40,000 rpm까지의 회전실험 결과를 나타내었다. 제안된 제어시스템은 기본적으로 PID 기반의 직접궤환 제어기와 자이로스코픽 모멘트 효과를 제어하기 위한 교차궤환기, 유연모우드 감쇄를 위한 리드필터와 동기진동 저감을 위한 노치필터 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 이러한 제어기는 자기부상형 터보분자펌프 외에 고속 플라이휠과 같은 자기베어링에 적용될 수 있다.

  • At the fuel processing system (FPS) of fuel cell vehicle, hydrogen recirculation blower (HRB) is used for the recirculation of remained hydrogen after reaction. In this paper, noise and vibration improvement of HRB is studied by changing design and control. It is checked the campbell diagram and critical speed for stability of rotor, and housing stiffness is improved using simulation of frequency response function (FRF). A method is suggested that can decrease the unbalance amount of the rotor and impeller which main source of noise and vibration. In order to reduce the noise during deceleration of blower, electrical braking is applied and tested the risk impact of durability. Founded the optimum switching frequency of the motor control, and reduced the idle rpm by increasing of aerodynamic performance. The superiority of paper is proved by measurement of the improved product's noise and vibration.

A Study on the Characteristics in Dietary Behavior and Dish Preference of Elementary School Children in Seoul and Kangwha Area

  • This study was conducted to provide current information on dietary behaviors and dish preferences of elementary school children and to suggest guidelines for proper dietary behaviors. To accomplish study objectives survey was executed using the questionnaire for 420 fifth and sixth grade school children, chosen from schools in Kangwha-gun and East River District of Seoul. A questionnaire largely consists of categories including general characteristics, dietary behavior and preferences of the subjects for some dishes. Results showed 30% of the subjects had breakfast irregularly. A majority of the subjects took Korean style dishes of cooked rice and soup for breakfast. fifty-eight percent of subjects had a regular meal time. Imbalanced diet(avoiding specific flood group thereby causing unbalance in nutrient intake) habit group was estimated to be 47.3%. Twenty one percent had a habit of overeating. In choosing the snack, taste was considered to be a more important factor than nutrition. Advertisement of the snack was shown to be one of the Important factors in selecting the snack. The girls were more concerned about weight control than the boys. Also the girls were likely to rely on the diet to control weight since they exercised only in the physical c1ass while the boys exercised regularly. Generally, children liked animal protein containing foods and the preference for vegetables was low. In order to improve overall dietary behavior, systematic nutrition education programs reflecting sex difference should be developed. Dish preference data would be very useful in selecting substitutive dish for the s[hoof lunch menu to improve imbalanced diet. (J Community Nutrition3(2) : 69∼76, 2001)

NPC 인버터의 개방성 고장에 대한 새로운 고장 검출 방법 (A Novel Fault Detection Method of Open-Fault in NPC Inverter System)

  • 본 논문은 NPC 인버터(Neutral-point-clamped ye티or) 시스템을 구성하는 스위칭 소자의 개방성 고장이 발생하였을 경우 인버터 시스템의 고장 제어를 위한 새로운 고장 검출 방법을 제안하였다. 고장 스위치의 검출은 NPC 인버터 각상의 폴-전압을 이용하여 수행되며, 고장 검출 이후 연속적인 평형 3상 전력을 출력하기위해 NPC 인버터는 2상 운전 시스템으로 재구성된다. 인버터 시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 위하여 고장 검출과 시스템 재구성을 통한 고장 허용 제어를 구현하였다. 제안된 고장 검출 방법은 기존 방법보다 빠른 검출 시간을 가지며 간단한 알고리즘으로서 구현이 용이하다는 장점을 갖는다. 빠른 고장 검출 능력은 고장 검출 시간의 지연에서 올 수 있는 직류-링크 커패시터의 전압 불평형 문제, 다른 스위치의 전압 스트레스 증가로 인한 소자 파괴와 같은 악영향을 개선시킬 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션과 실험을 수행하였다.

Pallet-unit MAP처리에 따른 봄배추의 선도 연장 효과 (Effect of Pallet-unit MAP Treatment on Freshness Extension of Spring Chinese Cabbage)

  • Chinese cabbage is produced and consumed as a main material for kimchi and as a staple vegetable in Korea throughout the year. However, due to environmental changes unbalance between supply and demand is repeated annually, requiring development of long-term storage technologies. Chinese cabbages, were harvested, put in plastic boxes, and precooled at $2^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours using forced air precooler. After precooling, Chinese cabbages were MAP-treated with 0.02 mm HDPE film and functional film and stored at low temperature ($1{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$). The weight-loss rates after 9-weeks of storage were 8.47% in the control group, 4.07% in the HDPE film-treated group, and 3.07% in the functional film-treated group, respectively, suppressing weight loss. Trimming loss rate after 6-weeks of storage was 6.86% in the functional film MAP-treated group and lower than 7.50% in the control group. In the sensory test with 7 points as the limit of commodity, the control group lost it after 6-weeks of storage while the MAP-treated groups retained over 7 points. The functional film MAP-treated group showed over 6 points for processing as kimchi until 9-weeks of storage, proving that Pallet-type MAP storage is effective for extending storage life of spring Chinese cabbage.

ITX 차량 운행에 의한 AF 무절연 궤도회로의 귀선전류 영향 분석 (Analysis of Return Current Effect for AF Non-insulated Track Circuit in ITX Vehicle Operation)

  • Depending on the operating characteristics, track circuit is installed for the purpose of control directly or indirectly of the signal device, point switch machine and other security device. These are mainly used for train detection, transmission of information, broken train detection and transmission of return current. Especially, the return current is related to signal system, power system and catenary line, and track circuit systems. It is one of the most important component shall be dealt for the safety of track side staff and for the protection of railway-related electrical system according to electrification. Therefore, an accurate analysis of the return current is needed to prevent the return current unbalance and the system induced disorder and failure due to an over current condition. Also, if the malfunction occurred by the return current harmonics, it can cause problems including train operation interruption. In this paper, we presented measurement and analysis method at return current and it's harmonics by train operation. By the test criteria, we evaluated for safety. Hereafter, it is expected to contribute to the field associated with it.

Model Validation and Controller Design for Vibration Suppression of Flexible Rotor Using AMB

  • This paper discusses the model validation and vibration suppression of an AMB flexible rotor via additional LQG controller. The main difficulty in the vibration suppression of the flexible rotor using AMB is to realize a controller that can minimize resonance without injuring the stabilized rigid modes. In order to solve this problem, simple scheme for system modeling and controller design are developed. Firstly, the AMB flexible rotor is stabilized with a PID controller, which leads to a new stable rotor-bearing system. Then, authors propose the model validation procedure using measured open-loop frequency responses to obtain an accurate model of the AMB flexible rotor system. After that, LQG controller with modal weighting is designed to suppress resonances of the stable rotor-bearing system. Due to the poor controllability and observability of flexible modes compared to rigid ones, balancing of two Gramians is prerequisite for the fair LQG controller design. Simulation with step disturbance and experimental results of unbalance response up to 10,000 rpm verified the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
