It is important to choose and develop right business model in the process of implementing the ubiquitous service concept. In particular, it is also required to build a method which can assist in establishing a business model in a competitive perspective to differentiate business strategy. However, we could not find the existing studies which tried to develop business model including methods on how to differentiate business strategy in a competitive environment. In this study, we propose an ontology for repository of ubiquitous business model and address on how to apply the proposed business model repository to real ubiquitous industry. We also built a repository of unlicensed wireless device industry to check the applicability of proposed ubiquitous business model ontology and to show the various examples. We expect that building the business model repository contributes to reduce the redundancy and inefficiency for industry as well as to increase likelihood of business success for an individual company.

The growth in the use of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technologies (IT). As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize ubiquitous computing based on mobile services, an important issue is to understand what factors will impact the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with three additional groups of external factors, i.e., service-related factors (ubiquitous access, context awareness) and technology-related factors (perceived security risk, network connectivity) that are theoretically justified as having influence on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use which are additionally considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined, using responses from more than intended users of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services. The specific purposes of this study are as follows. Firstly, this study is to identify service beliefs considering unique characteristics for ubiquitous services such as perceived ubiquitous access and perceived context awareness. Secondly, this study is to investigate network characteristics beliefs such as perceived security and perceived connectivity. Thirdly, this paper investigates the relationship among variables such as ubiquitous characteristics, network characteristics, behavioral beliefs, and intention to use ubiquitous web services. This study uses a structural equation model to test the research model. The major results of this study are as follows. Firstly, ubiquitous access has a influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Context awareness has an influence on perceived usefulness. Secondly, User familiarity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and intention to use. User innovativeness has an influence on perceived ease of use. Thirdly, perceived security risk has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Network connectivity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, there exist differential effects among factors in structural model among information, transaction, and entertainment services.

도서관의 역할 및 서비스는 전통적으로 정보기술의 변화에 많은 영향을 받으면서 발전하여 왔다. 최근 새로운 정보 기술로서 유비쿼터스 기술이 의학, 건축, 상거래, 방송통신 등의 다양한 분야에서 연구되어지고 있다. 이와 같은 유비쿼터스 정보기술은 도서관에서 제공하고 있는 서비스 및 기능에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 유비쿼터스 정보기술의 발전과 함께, 도서관은 역할 및 기능에 있어서 많은 변화가 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 네트워크에 대한 개념과 정의를 알아보았으며 특히, 향후 유비쿼터스 사회의 기술적 기반이 되는 요소기술 및 요구사항과 함께, 도서관의 새로운 역할 및 서비스에 대하여 알아 보았다. 이를 위하여 문헌조사, 사례연구 및 전문가그룹과의 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 도서관 서비스 및 역할은 두 가지 관점 즉, 네트워크 및 물리적 공간을 기준으로 고려되어져야 함을 제안하였다. 또한 도서관은 전통적인 정보제공기관으로서 뿐만이 아니라 문화기관 및 교육기관으로서 역할이 더욱 확대되어질 것이며 이를 위한 개인화 및 문화 교육서비스를 위한 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

G센서는 스마트폰, 로봇등 모션을 제어하는데 사용되고 있다. G센서는 X, Y, Z축으로 되어 있어 여러 방향의 동작들을 제어할 수 있으며, Wi-Fi통신과 블루투스모듈의 RS232C통신 방식을 이용하여 여러 분야의 모바일 단말기에 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 G센서가 장착된 휴대용 단말기를 사용하여 실시간 영상으로 차량원격제어시스템을 개발 및 구현하여 운전자들이 편하게 차량을 원격제어, 관리할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다.

This study suggests a trial system for facility monitoring technology on ubiquitous environment. The trial system can be used for integrated various collection and sending data by bluetooth and wireless network from bridge. We used smart sensor and wireless network for it. Especially, we analyzed out all appliable technologies at monitoring part on ubiquitous environment and gave a standard spec to build the system. We wanted it as a guideline to apply ubiquitous in smart facility monitoring part.

This study is aimed at interpreting into changes and characters of function applied into quantative analysis in ubiquitous house. Digital technology being introduced into architectural fields, It applied expansively from design and construction to user's convenience. The application of digital technology is presented to various change like effectiveness and exactness in design and function of space, which is overlayed digital space to physical space beyond the extent of receiving human needs in physical space. In ubiquitous house, digital technologies are supplied to function coordinated with life, appreciating into positional informations of human and materials, spatial informations. Ubiquitous house is comparably effective into funtional expansion, user's convenience, safty, which, for the future, is going to using on housing of high performance encouraging the application of advanced technology. Therefore this study is classified into human behaviors, functions, performances and characters of digital system in ubiquitous house, which being established into the relation of elements, is interpreted numerically into functional changes and charats being applied to ARM.

The current status of developing ubiquitous campus is needed to enhance the part of facility management because the development of the campus is focused on education and administration parts. This study is a basic research for facility management of the campus. And this study is to contribute to make a plan for ubiquitous facility management of the campus. The ubiquitous campus can not be developed by only information technology, it should be developed in phases, such as law, administration, etc., and needed long-term commitment. This study will make a basic data for this phase of developing the ubiquitous campus.

As people are aging, there are changes about biological psychological sociological. For these reasons, it will arise that changing body size, decreasing power of body, shrinking of living, becoming dull the senses, and feeling alienation loneliness sense of distance about society. Many studies have been done to give residential space supporting older adults' living. Recently many ubiquitous technologies are being development and applied to residential space. The purpose of this study was to classified ubiquitous services by housing supporting concept and older people's physical, psychological and social characteristics and to identify needs for ubiquitous services by older adults. The researches developed a survey instrument and collected the data from 260 people in July to August, 2008 who were more than 40 years old. The results of this study found that residents' current needs and suggested ubiquitous services in future residential environment for older adults.

The emergence of ubiquitous autonomic computing and network environment will change the service architecture information system which will be a new application area in SCM/logistics systems. In this study we surveyed the technical trend map of ubiquitous and its application in SCM/logistics support system design. We described the evolutional model of ubiquitous computing community for SCM/logistics system. It is consisted of three view points; self-growing, autonomic, and context-aware, which will allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology and are useful for proactive SCM/logistics support system. Finally, we suggested a cooperative research planning for the development ubiquitous system between the government research center, university, and industry research activities.

With the advancement of the industry such as information technology, residential facilities has been consistently achieved high standard. Ubiquitous system has been introduced in apartments nowadays, and it will be general facilities in the near future. However elderly people is not generally accustomed to ubiquitous or internet environment, so degree of ubiquitous system usage is able to be less than young people. This study aims to grasp the relative importance of ubiquitous environment, and offer materials to realize residential environment's improvement of silver towns under investigation through a questionnaire survey. Skin recognition system was most preferred among various functions. Energy management system, protection system of solitude elderly person and security system by CCTV was also preferred at a high rate. Housework part such as cooking aid, height control of sink and basin etc., was not less important system relatively.
