  • 21C digital culture is now affecting the life of arts and development through our system, as well as body arts and body painting. Body painting is not has been focused through our lives in 21stcentury as one genre. UV body painting is from short to long wave length that demonstrates to us the dimension by science and lighting showing more than 8 colors that are better off being set. From this research the theory of body painting considerate characteristics and vision for it. From the researchers line, dots, and side shows the UV body painting as a one piece of art and analyzing the 3D theory and once again showing vision through what it's affecting to their result.' UV body painting is usage of floral paints and using so called 'black light' that shows the short and long term wavelength that provides the 3D material, but first, this is different from normal body painting like dots, like, and layers shows more thoroughly and shows focused motive and you can easily tell the difference. As of all UV body painting is showing more 3D vision more than the design itself. From all this research, to all the body painters we await the future practical theory to be used and for the better future.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of environmental factors such as temperature, salinity, pH, and UV light on-the survival of life-threatening Vibrio vulnificus. In the temperature range of 15 to $25^{\circ}C$, the numbers of V. vulnificus incieased during the 6-day incubation, but outside this range, the survival of V. vulnificus was poor. Incubation between 1 and $10^{\circ}C$ showed that V. vulnifcts survived poorly below $10^{\circ}C$. At sal:nities between 5 and 25ppt, the numbers of V. vulnificus increased or remained unchanged for 6-day. At salinities above this range, the numbers of V. vulnificus decreased. The optimal pH range was 6.5 to 8.0 and outside this range, the survival ratio of V. vulnificus was small. At 15-and $25^{\circ}C$, UV radiation was bactericidal for cultures of V, vulnificus. The counts of V. vulnificus were reduced approximately 10, 000-fold after 2h of UV light treatment at both temperatures. Above results mowed 1ha't environmental factors were effective on the survival of V. vulniucus in the environment.

  • In order to identify antibiotic substances in the extract of a lichen, Umbilicaria vellea, the extract was chromatographed and two compounds were isolated. Compound I which showed antifungal and antibacterial activities, melted around 129∼132$^{\circ}C$ and showed UV absorption at 217, 265 and 300 nm. It showed a molecular ion at m/z 196. Its molecular formular was confirmed to be $C_{10}H_{12}O_4$ from elemental analysis. From its IR and NMR data it was identified to be ethyl 2,4-dihydroxy-6-methyl benzoate. Compound II melted around 58∼59$^{\circ}C$ and showed UV absorption at 212, 276 and 282 nm. It showed a molecular ion at m/z 124 and molecular formular was confirmed to be $C_7H_8O_2.$ From the analysis of its IR and NMR spectra it was identified to be 5-methyl-1,3-benzenediol.

  • The optical and electrical properties of $C_{22}$-Quinolinium(TCNQ) Langmuir-Blodgett films have been studied depending on the annealing temperatures. The optimal properties were investigated using UV/visible(300-800[nm]) absorption spectra and FTIR(Fourier-transformed- infrared) absorption measurements. The electrical properties were investigated in a frequency range of 10[Hz]-13[MHz]. The UV/visible absorption spectra at room temperature show that there are four characteristic peaks at 320, 380, 494 and 678[nm]. These absorption peaks decrease very rapidly above the annealing temperature of 180[.deg. C], which is due to a structural change of TCNQ. The FTIR absorption measurements strongly support the result of the UV/visible absorption spectra, because the absorption peak of TCNQ- at 2181[$cm^{-1}$ /] also decreases above 140[.deg. C]. The frequency-dependent dielectric constant shows that there is a dielectric dispersion near 1[MHz] which is due to an orientational polarization of the molecules inside the film. The overall frequency-dependent dielectric constant is higher near 80[.deg. C]. It may be due to a softness of the alkyl chains.s.

  • A thick film catalytic gas sensors which can be operated at $142^{\circ}C$ in presence of ultra violet-light emitting diode has been developed to measure hydrogen concentration in 0-5 % range. The sensing material as a combustion catalyst consists of $TiO_{2}$ (5 wt%) and Pd/Pt (20 wt%) supported on $Al_{2}O_{3}$ powder and the reference material to compensate the heat capacity of it in a bridge circuit was an catalyst free $Al_{2}O_{3}$ powder. Platinum heater and sensor materials were formed on the alumina plate by screen printing method and heat treatment. The effect of UV radiation in the presence of photo catalyst $TiO_{2}$ on the sensor sensitivity, response and recovery time has been investigated. The reduction of operating temperature from $192^{\circ}C$ to $142^{\circ}C$ for hydrogen gas sensing property in presence of UV radiation is attributed to the hydroxy radical and superoxide which was formed at the surface of $TiO_{2}$ under UV radiation.

  • To estimate the shelf life of red cabbage sprouts (stored at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$), the numbers of total aerobic bacteria were determined during storage. Parameters for the Gompertz model were determined and the shelf life was predicted using a modified Gompertz equation. The estimated shelf lives of red cabbage sprouts packed with polyolefin film and polyamide/polyamide/polyethylene (PA/PA/PE) film at $4^{\circ}C$ were 49.4 and 52.3 h, respectively, whereas those of red cabbage sprouts packed with polyolefin film and PA/PA/PE film at $10^{\circ}C$ were 19.7 and 22.6, respectively. The shelf life prediction equation was appropriate, based on the statistical analysis of the accuracy factor, bias factor, and mean square error. On the other hand, for red cabbage sprouts treated with aqueous $ClO_2$/fumaric acid and UV-C then packed with polyolefin film or PA/PA/PE film, the shelf life was predicted to be longer than 168 h. These results suggest that the combined treatment of aqueous $ClO_2$/fumaric acid and UV-C can be useful for improving microbial safety and extending the shelf life of red cabbage sprouts during storage.

  • Poly(phenylene sulfide)(PPS) films were photooxidized under UV/ozone irradiation. The effect of UV energy on the surface properties of the UV-irradiation PPS films were investigated by the measurement of reflectance, surface roughness, and contact angle. Reflectance decreased at the wavelength of 400nm and the surface roughness increased with increased UV energy. The improvement in hydrophilicity with increased $O_{1s}/C_{1s}$ was caused by the introduction of hydrophilic $SO_2$ bond. Surface energy increased from 46.6 to $78.3mJ/m^2$ with increased UV energy up to $21.2J/cm^2$. Also zeta potential decreased with increased UV energy. The increased dyeability to cationic dyes may be due to the photochemically introduced anionic and dipolar dyeing sites on the PPS films surfaces.he photochemically introduced anionic and dipolar dyeing sites on the PPS films surfaces.

  • UV-IR diagnostic technology is being used for predictive maintenance of high voltage equipment together with IR-thermography and ultrasonic devices. In this paper, the UV-IR camera design, fabrication, and perform a simple test to be take advantage of the diagnostic equipment. UV-IR camera developed a $6.4^{\circ}{\times}4.8^{\circ}$ of the field of view as a conventional camera to diagnose a wide range of slightly enlarged, and power equipment to measure the distance between the camera and the distance meter has been attached. In a distance of 5m with the UV-IR it is possible to detect partial discharge with a PD level of 2.5 pC and a RIV(Radio Influence Voltage) level of $3.6dB{\mu}V$.
