  • The purpose of this study is to identify sevral variables which were assumed to have relationships with the role conflict and marital satisfaction of married working women, and to examine the relationship of the role conflict and marital satisfaction of married working women in Korea. The data for this study was obtained from the survey of the 262 married working women who reside in the city of Seoul employing questionnaire method. Such methods as frequency, percentile, factor analysis, analysis of variance (t-test, F-test), and Pearson's correlation were used for the statistical analysis for this study. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) The role conflict level of married working women was related to variables such as age, the number of children, work time, husband's support, job satisfaction, motivation to work outside the home. 2) The overall marital satisfaction was relatively high when they have two children and the presence of household work help. Futhermore, ut was found that marital satisfaction considerably high when husband's support and job satisfaction was highly accorded. 3) The role conflict and marital satisfaction of married working women were significantly negatively correlated.

  • The dynamic permittivity of a microstrip structure leads to a convenient and modified Smith-chart representation that includes the frequency-dependent influence of the lossy characteristics of the line cohesively. The efficacy of the model is illustrated with an example concerning a microstrip patch antenna. Relevant simulations show that the input impedances calculated from the model are more accurate than those from the previous model in the literature by comparing to the measure results, as illustrated with an example of a patch antenna. This model is compatible for CAD efforts with MATLAB$\^$TM/ facilitation fast and user-friendly implementations.

  • In this study, we investigated defects of graphite by three NDT methods which are ultrasonic testing at 5 MHz, micro-forused X-ray testing and AE testing. As the detection of AE signals generated from graphite tensile specimens, we calculated location of AE sources and compared them with UT and X-ray test results in detecting defects of several specimens, Acoustic emission testing could be applied to some graphites which have fine grains of a few tens of micrometer, but it was difficult to those in lager grain of few fo milimeter. Also, we could understand what kind of defects has affected on tensile fracture of graphite.

  • Hats are an important part of the fashion accessory business and Their importance is increasing year by year. Their importance is increasing not only as a means of accessory ut also as a means of sportswear due to the leisure-sports boom of the 90's. As hats are becoming more and more popular and ready-made, demand for comfortable and easy-fitting hats are increasing. Being an piece of apparel, fitting is very important factor in hats as well s in other forms of clothing. But many hat-wears complain of dissatisfaction of fitting of their hats. In addition to this, another problem is hat most hat designs have been flown in from the West without inspection of their fits. Designs to fit the Koran face and head have not been developed properly. This study is based on the need for the development of a well-fitting hat pattern design for Korean young women. After taking actual measurements of 170 young womens, a size system was organized for developing patterns for different size groups.

  • This paper is a study on the shaman's costumes which were observed in the ritual of Jae-Soo-Kut held in Seoul. In this study the forms and functions of the shaman's costumes in Jae-Soo-Kut are compared with those of other Korean traditional costumes and differences are identified between them. The results of this study are also compaed with those of the study on the shaman's costumes in Chun-Sin-ut and other Koean traditional costumes. Shaman's costumes have undergone changes with the decrease in the number of believers in Kut resulting from the diffusion of foreign religion the weakening of believers' faith in Kut resulting from the improvement of science and technology and higher education and the invention of new textiles and development of sewing technology. The reasons why the Kut is performed even nowadays are also discussed. Among those reasons firstly Koreans hold to their own folk religions. Secondly the kut has peculiar artis-tic value for Koreans. Thirdly Koreans seek peace of mind through performing the Kut.

  • Non destructive test is applied to revise mechanical strength and assume material strength or defect of material, equipment and structure, instead of fracture test. Especially, ultrasonic test has the characteristics such as an excellent permeability high-sensitiveness to fine defect and an almost exact measurement for position, size and direction of inner defect which differ from other non destructive tests. In this study, the program is developed to evaluate optimal testing condition, to distinguish obstacle echo and defect position. This program on the basic of Ray-Tracing model shows generation and processing of ultrasonic pulse. The simulation is compared with testing in the 3 cases of an oblique angle transducer like $45^{\circ},\;60^{\circ}\;and\;70^{\circ}$. The test result for all conditions is well compared with simulation result when relative not is within $0.1{\sim}7.2%$. And the course of several echos is simply assumed through simulation.

  • Simian virus 40 (SV40) small-t antigen (small-t) has been known to regulate the activity of a cellular enzyme, protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), composed of A. B, and C subunits, via binding to the A subunit In the study presented here, the stoichiometry of the binding of small-t to PP2A was determined to be 1: 1. It was also shown that small-t binds to the AC form of PP2A with a higher apparent affinity than it binds to the free A subunit. We also characterized the interaction of PP2A with wild-type and various mutant small-ts. A single-point mutant (Val134Met) and a double-point mutant (Trp147Gly;Leu152 Pro) of small-t exhibited 3-fold and 5-fold lower potencies in inhibiting PP2A activity. respectively. This suggests that the region around amino acids between 134 and 152 of small-t might be important in regulating the enzyme activity of PP2A.

  • Impacter tester was build of to evaluate the characterization of non-flamable Glass/phenol laminate plates under the low velocity impact. The damage of composite laminates are matrix cracking, delamination, and fiber breakage for impact energy. In this study, this is to find impact properties of Glass/phenol in used in a forehead part of lighting subway. To determine impact damage characteristics which is made in a laminate, use the UT C-scan after- macrography. And then evaluated the reduction of strength in a rate of impact energy with CAI(Compression After Impact) test

  • The requirements for higher productivity call for high speed of the machine tool axes. Iron core type linear DC motor is growly accepted far a viable candidate of the high speed machine tool feed unit. LDM, however, has inherent disturbance force components: cogging and force ripple. These disturbance force directly affects tracking accuracy of the carrage and must be eliminated or reduced. Reducing motor ripple, this paper adapted the feed forward compensation method and neural network control. Experiments carried 7ut on the linear motor test setup show that this control methods is usable in order to reduce the motor ripple.

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the effect on denuclearization and decertification of flue gas by utilizing Mg( OH)$_{2}$ and NaOH as reagents in industrial boiler. We used packed absorber with Tellerette in all cases. And pH of circulation solution, rate of liquid per gas in absorber, COD concentration by pH variation in oxidation basin were inves- tigated. The following conclusions were obtained from experimental results: 1. Concerning running cost for reagents, Mg( OH)$_{2}$ reagent for treatment of flue gas was more economical than NaOH. 2. While Mg( OH )$_{2}$ and NaOH as absorbents were used, then the ratio of denuclearization was 96 and 97% respectively and nitrification was recorded 29 and 25% . 3. In this absorption tests the optimum condition for ratio of liquid per gas, pH and nonregenerable salt concentration of circulation solution were 3.6ℓ /Nm$^{3}$, 6.0, 0.5∼1.0% respectively, 4. Initial COD in oxidation basin was 800 ∼ 1,00099ut after adjusting to pH 7.0, COD of effluent water was less than 20ppm.
