  • The U-health service provides medical services with patients anytime or anywhere and is defined as the service that combines information and communication technology with health and medical service. However, it causes some troubles, such as the disclosure of patients' medical information or data spills (personal information extrusion). Moreover, it has the weak point of the security threats associated with data based on existing wire-wireless systems because it conducts data transmission and reception through the network. Therefore, this paper suggests a safe personal information management system by designing integrated certification schema that will help compensate for the weaknesses of the U-health service. In the proposal, the protocols for user information, certification between medical institution and users, data communication encryption & decryption, and user information disuse were designed by applying the ID-Based Encryption, and analyzed such existing systems and PKI Based-based communication process, securely and safely.

  • Recently, as the technology has been blended with IT, BT or NT and technology in each field has been developed progressively with the people's needs for a healthy and abundance life. In the medical service field as well, related technologies such as medical equipment, medical information system, or medical business application have come to be diversified and advanced. However, most of these medical technologies are being developed independently without an interaction with other medical institutions or related companies, which causes many problems in the integration or interchangeability of them. This paper is intended to solve the problems generated during a direct information sharing between the functional interfaces of the present healthcare information sharing system. This paper develops a repository between the interfaces, which can save all the healthcare information from the institutions, and convert and publish it in various forms of document. In other words, recently HL7 protocol has been used for sharing the healthcare information in order to save the information in XML format, and develops the H-DISS(Healthcare-Documents Integrated Sharing System), a repository to manage and publish the saved document.

  • This paper proposed the architecture of the authentication and the transmission for high reliable emergency data management based on U-healthcare wireless mesh networks. In U-healthcare monitoring service, the high reliable bio data management as well as the data transmission are required because the monitoring emergency bio data is related linked to life. More specifically, the technologies of the identity authentication of the measuring bio data, the personalized emergency status diagnosis who is authenticated the bio data and the emergency data transmission are important first of all. To do this, this paper presents the structure and protocol of the identity authentication management with using the extended IEEE 11073 PHD, the structure of policy-based management of the emergency bio data for the highly reliable management and the resilient routing protocol based on wireless mesh network for the reliable data transmission.

  • Due to the growth of economy and the advancement of IT, the life expectancy has been prolonged and the interests in health have greatly increased. Recently the request for systems that enable measuring the bio-signals of patients in the non medical organizations, such as home, and transmitting them to medical staffs at remote sites for monitoring them. In this paper, we present an agent-based u-health system for patients or suspects with heart diseases. Our system consists of portable devices for measuring bio-signals and agents that perform data collection, data storage, automatic detection of abnormal status in patients, and HL7-based data exchange in a cooperative way. The main features of the system are : the agent-based architecture facilitates the addition of new service modules as well as the modification of existing ones; an intelligent agent is provided which automatically detects situations in which the bio-signals of patients are abnormal; the medical data standard is supported so that the communication with other systems is very easy. To our survey, there have been few previous systems which support all those features in a seamless way.

  • U-Healthcare service is a real-time service using the vital signs which are continuously transferred from monitoring sensors attached to mobile patients under the wireless network environments. It should monitor the health condition of mobile patients everywhere at any time. In this paper, we have improved two features of the three layered mobile patient monitoring system with load balancing ability. First, the simulation process has been improved by allowing the number of related nodes to be changed. Secondly, we have modified S node to which queue is added to reduce the loss rate of collecting data from patients during the delay of S node process. And the data from the patient with high priority can be transferred to the server immediately through the filtering function. Furthermore, we have solved the problem of redundancy in sharing information among S nodes by differentiating process time to each S node. By performing a DEVS Java-based system simulation, we have verified the efficiency of this improved system.

  • Mobile Healthcare is a new type of health care services for managing health and life irrespective of time and space by uniting IT and BT. For this service bio-signal measurement using WBAN, and data analysis and monitoring technologies based on mobile devices are essential. Generally, however, mobile application has low compatibility because of the features of mobile platform, we have to redevelop it to support the corresponding platform. In this paper we introduce a Mobile Healthcare System which can function as gateway and monitoring based on hybrid app to create ubiquitous healthcare monitoring system compatible with various mobile devices by overcoming the difference of platforms. The proposed system consists of sensor composition part, monitoring composition part, and server composition part.

  • Nowadays there are many studies and there's huge development about RFID and WSN which have great developmental potential to many kinds of applications. In particular, the healthcare field is expected to could be securing international competitive power in u-Healthcare and combined medical treatment industry and service. More and more real time application apply RFID and WSN technology to identify, data collect and locate objects. Wide deployment of RFID and WSN will generate an unprecedented volume of primitive data in a short time. Duplication and redundancy of primitive data will affect real time performance of application. Thus, emerging applications must filter primitive data and correlate them for complex pattern detection and transform them to events that provide meaningful, actionable information to end application. In this paper, we design a complex event processing system. This system will process RFID and WSN primitive data and event and perform data transformation. Integrate RFID and WSN system had applied each now in medical treatment through this study and efficient data transmission and management forecast that is possible.
