  • Modular construction is an emerging technology to accommodate the increasing restrictions in terms of construction period, energy efficiency and environmental impacts, since each structural module is prefabricated offsite beforehand and assembled onsite using industrialized techniques. However, some innate structural drawbacks of this innovative method are also distinct, such as connection tying inaccessibility, column instability and system robustness. This study aims to explore the theoretical and numerical stability analysis of a tenon-connected square hollow section (SHS) steel column to address the tying and stability issue in modular construction. Due to the excellent performance of composite structures in fire resistance and buckling prevention, concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) columns are also taken into account in the analysis to evaluate the feasibility of adopting composite sections in modular buildings. Characteristic equations with three variables, i.e., the length ratio, the bending stiffness ratio and the rotational stiffness ratio, are generated from the fourth-order governing differential equations. The rotational stiffness ratio is recognized as the most significant factor, with interval analysis conducted for its mechanical significance and domain. Numerical analysis using ABAQUS is conducted for validation of characteristic equations. Recommendations and instructions in predicting the buckling performance of both SHS and CFST columns are then proposed.

If recognition vocabulary modify and make an addition then recreated modeling of executed database collected and training sequence on account of bring on additional expenses and take more time. This study suggest efficient context dependent process modeling method using decision tree-based state tying. On study suggest method is reduce recreated of model and it's offered that robustness and accuracy of context dependent acoustic modeling. Also reduce amount of model and offered training process unseen model as concerns context dependent a likely phoneme model has been used unseen model solve the matter. System performance as a result of represent vocabulary dependence recognition rate of 98.01%, vocabulary independence recognition rate of 97.38%.

  • Superplastic forming/diffusion bonding (SPF/DB) processes were analyzed using a rigid visco-plastic finite element method. The optimum pressure-time relationship for a target strain rate and thickness distributions were predicted by two-node line elements based on the membrane approximation for plane strain. Material behavior during SPF/DB of the integral structures having complicated shapes was investigated. The tying condition is employed for the analysis of inter-sheet contact problems. A movement of rib structure is successfully predicted during the forming.

  • In ancient China, Su(綬) was the ornament of the full dress. It had originated from tying the jade or another thing before Jen(秦:Qin) dynasty and it tied the imperial jade seal and the chop from Han dynasty. Su of Han dynasty was different in the inscape, colour, length and density according to the grade. And the shape was the straight line. But these phenomena were changed after Han dynasty. This study showed how it changed. To studying used the comparison method of literature records, paintings and archeological relics. It mostly studied imperial Su. Su of Han dynasty of the high grade was formed by Yeok, the circle type jade and Su(Su moaned whole Su, at the same time moaned the part of Su, too). Afterward, Yeok was changed into Small Su[小綬] and Su was changed into Big Su(大綬). Originally the circle type jade was connecting Yeok to Su, but it was changed into tying Small Su only. Su of Han dynasty used the four kinds of colour, but from Su(隋: Sui) dynasty used the six kinds of colour. Originally Su was interlacing, but it was changed into the silk fabric from Song[宋] dynasty. According to using silk fabric's Su, it was likely to disappear the system distinguishing the grade by length. And it kept the method of interlacing the reticulation in the low part of silk fabric's Su. So, after using silk fabric's Su, the system of the density was not about the main body but about the reticulation. Su was been used woven with supplementary golden wefts, too. The circle type jade was chiseled the dragon and cloud from Geum[金:Jin] dynasty. These not the pattern of silk fabrics.

  • In continuous vocabulary recognition system by statistical method vocabulary recognition to be performed using probability distribution it also modeling using phoneme clustering for based sample probability parameter presume. When vocabulary search that low recognition rate problem happened in express vocabulary result from presumed probability parameter by not defined phoneme and insert phoneme and it has it's bad points of gaussian model the accuracy unsecure for one clustering modeling. To improve suggested probability distribution mixed gaussian model to optimized for based resemble Euclidean and Bhattacharyya distance measurement method mixed clustering modeling that system modeling for be searching phoneme probability model in clustered model. System performance as a result of represent vocabulary dependence recognition rate of 98.63%, vocabulary independence recognition rate of 97.91%.

  • Many scientifc applications include manipulation of data points tying in a space. We describe a method, based on sector labeling to generate a space-filling curve for partitioning such given data points. Our method is straightforward and flexible, equipping a one-one correspondence between point-values on the curve and data points in space in more efficient than designated methods found in the literature. It is widely believed that the Hilbert curve achieves the desired properties on linear mappings due to the locality between data points. Therefore we focus on the Hilbert curve since, later on, we identify it as the most suitable for our application. We demonstrate on using our method for the data particles of an n-body simulation that based on Barnes-Hut algorithm.

  • Stress intensity factors for a rigid line inclusion tying along a bimaterial interface are calculated by the boundary element method with the multiregion and double-Point techniques. The formula between the stress intensity factors and the inclusion surface stresses are derived. The numerical values of the stress intensity factors for the bimaterial interface rigid line inclusion in the infinite body are proved to be in good agreement within 3% when compared with the previous exact solutions. In the finite bimaterial systems, the stress intensity factors for the center and edge rigid line inclusions at interface are computed with the variation of the rigid line inclusion length and the shear modulus ratio under the biaxial and uniaxial loading conditions.

  • In this paper the word recognition using sub-model based Hidden Markov Model was studied. Phoneme models were composed of 61 phonemes in therms of Korean language pronunciation characteristic. Using this, word model was maded by serial concatenation. But, in case of this phoneme concatenation, the second and the third phoneme of syllable are overlapped in distribution at the same time. So considering this, the method that combines the second and the third phoneme to one model was proposed. And to prevent the increase in number of model, similar phonemes were combined to one, and finially, 57 models were created. In experiment proper model structure of sub-model was searched for, and recognition results were compared. So similar recognition results were maded, and overall recognition rates were increased in case of using parameter tying method.

  • Behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case show complex structural characteristics. Pre-torque must be applied to the threads to prevent the loosening of the interface from the additional pressure load. During the pressurization of the rocket motor case, the jointing face may be opened if the pre-torque were not set properly or the structure may be failed if the local concentrated stress exceeds the strength of the material. In this paper, the structural behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case were analyzed by the finite element method and the results were compared to the experimental ones. A method to set a pre-torque for a thread joint were proposed to ensure the structural safety.

  • In previous study, the decrease and recovery of total stiffness in welded structure was discussed on the basis of experimental examination through tensile loading and unloading test of welded specimen. The recovery of structure stiffness was caused by the release of welding residual stress through mechanical loading. In this study, analysis model that is indispensable for the effective application of MSR method was established on the basis of test and measurement result. Thermal elasto-plastic analysis for welding process was performed by non-coupled analysis. Analysis results of welding process were transfer to elasto-plastic model for tensile loading & unloading by restart technique. In elasto-plastic analysis model for mechanical loading & unloading, hardening appearance of weld metal was considered by rezoning technique and tying technique was used for JIG condition of test machine.
