  • In this study eco-friendly wax remover for printing table of flat screen was investigated. Seven organic solvents, diethylene glycol monomethyl ester, triethylene glycol monomethyl ester, triethylene glycol monobutyl ester, tripropylene glycol monomethyl ester, dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO), trichloro ethylene(TCE), tolune, were used as resin wax remover. The resin wax solubility with solvents was investigated. DMSO was found to be the most suitable eco-friendly resin wax remover.

  • Aliphatic aldehyde polyoxyethylene glycol acetals were synthesised through the reaction of aliphatic aldehydes such as caproic aldehyde, capryl aldehyde, capric aldehyde and lauric aldehyde with excess diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol and tetraethylene glycol, respectively. The acetal formation, in which water was azeotropically distilled by adding benzene to the reaction system, was gained a good yield of acetal type compounds. This reaction is found pseudo first order reaction at various temperatures such 70, 80, 90 and $97^{\circ}C$. Also these activation energies of reaction of acetal type products such as caproic aldehyde diethylene glycol acetal, capryl aldehyde diethylene glycol acetal, capric aldehyde diethylene glycol acetal, lauric aldehyde diethylene glycol acetal, caproic aldehyde triethylene glycol acetal and caproic aldehyde tetraethylene acetal were 17.3, 19.6, 21.2, 21.6, 15.5 and 14.7 Kcal/mole.

  • Several desiccant cooling systems have been developed in terms of cost and performance. In this study a fin-tube exchanger has been used for liquid desiccant dehumidification system. This dehumidifier has been designed to study the absorption characteristic of the aqueous triethylene glycol(TEG) solution which has the flow range from 20 to 50 LPM. The dehumidifier performance characteristics of working factor variables such as inlet solution flow rate, air flow rate, solution concentration and brine temperature have been analyzed. This dehumidifier has the ability to provide running while saving the latent heat load of total energy. The result of this experiment can provide useful data for hybrid air conditioning system.

리튬이온폴리머전지용 가교형 겔폴리머전해질의 중합조건 최적화 연구 (Optimization Study on Polymerization of Crosslink-type Gel Polymer Electrolyte for Lithium-ion Polymer Battery)

  • In this work, polymerization conditions of the gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) were studied to obtain better electrochemical performances in a lithium-ion polymer battery. When the polymerization temperature and time of the GPE were 70$^{\circ}C$ and 70 min, respectively, the lithium polymer battery showed excellent a rate capability and cycleability. The TMPETA (trimethylolpropane ethoxylate triacrylate)/TEGDMA (triethylene glycol dimethacrylate)-based cells prepared under optimized polymerization conditions showed excellent rate capability and low-temperature performances: The discharge capacity of cells at 2 Crate showed 92.1 % against 0.2C rate. The cell at -20 $^{\circ}C$ also delivered 82.4 % of the discharge capacity at room temperature.

  • 실옥산 사슬과 크라운 에테르가 연결된 유연성이 큰 2가지 새로운 비스-크라운 에테르를 합성하였다. 1,3-Bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl-1,3-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl disiloxane(1)는 백금촉매 존재하에서 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8)과 1,3-bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl disiloxane (10)의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl trisiloxane (2)은 백금촉매 존재하에서 crown ether (8)과 1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyl trisiloxane (11)의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. 3-Methylene-13-crown-4 (7), 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8), 및 3-methylene-19-crown-6 (9)은 NaH 존재하에서 triethylene glycol (3), tetraethylene glycol (4), 및 pentaethylene glycol (5)을 각각 3-chloro-2-chloro-methyl-1-propene (6)와 반응시켜서 합성하였다.

레진 기질에 포함된 희석제들이 치과용 복합 재료의 특성 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Various Diluents Included in the Resin Matrices on the Characteristics of the Dental Composites)

  • 치과용 복합 재료의 레진 기질은 주로 2,2-bis[4-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxy propoxy) phenyl] propane(Bis-GMA)와 이의 점도 감소를 위한 희석제인 triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA)로 구성되어 있다. TEGDMA는 복합 재료의 중합 수축률과 흡수율을 증가시켜 치과용 복합 재료의 사용에 제약 요소로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 희석제 첨가량을 감소시켜 희석제 첨가에 따른 문제점을 해결하기 위해 diethylene glycol dimethacrylate(DEGDMA)와 ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA)를 대체 희석제로 검토하였다. 이들 희석제를 이용하여 치과용 복합 재료를 제조해 특성 변화를 관찰한 결과 기존 소재에 비해 중합 수축를 감소와 기계적 물성의 증가가 관찰되었다. 특히 DEGDMA 혹은 EGDMA를 사용한 경우 평형 흡수율이 감소되어 흡수에 따른 물성 저하가 기존 재료에 비해 감소하였다.

  • Liquid desiccant dehumidification system can be used effectively to save energy consumed in air conditioning as an alternative compared with conventional air conditioning systems by reducing latent heat load. The dehumidifier and the regenerator from the heart of this system. The latent part of the cooling load is handled using liquid desiccant. In this study, the experimental regenerator has been designed to study the regeneration characteristics of the aqueous triethylene glycol(TEG) system. The performance factors of the regenerator with finned tube heat exchanger were evaluated by a series of experimental runs. The regeneration process is highly dependent on the liquid desiccant conditions, such as, temperature, concentration and flow rate. In addition, the effects of the inlet air temperature, humidity and flow rate were discussed. Data obtained are useful for design guidance and performance analysis of a regenerator, particularly for a liquid desiccant cooling system.

비대칭 스파이로 오르토카보네이트가 포함된 저수축 치아 수복재 (Dental Restorative Composite Resins Containing Asymmetric Spiro Orthocarbonate for the Reduction of Volumetric Shrinkage)

  • 2,2 bis 〔4-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropoxy)phenyl〕propane을 기본 단량체, triethylene glycol dimethacrylate를 희석제로 포함하고 있는 고분자계 치아 수복재는 중합 수축률에서의 문제점으로 인하여 사용에 제약을 받아오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 고분자계 치아 수복제의 문제점인 중합 수축률을 감소시키기 위해 중합시 부피 팽창이 기대되는 비대칭 스파이로 오쏘카보네이트를 합성하고, 이를 포함하는 새로운 치아 수복재를 제조하여 이의 특성을 시험하였다. 스파이로 오쏘카보네이트를 포함하는 새로운 치아 수복재의 중합 수축율은 약45% 감소하여 우수한 체적 안정성을 나타내었다. 그러나 새로운 치아 수복재의 중합특성, 기계적 물성 등은 기존 치아 수복재에 비해 다소 저하되었다.
