$M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease is a rare protein-losing gastropathy characterized by hypertrophic gastric fold, foveolar hyperplasia, and hypoproteinemia with resulting peripheral edema. It is clinically evident as nonspecific gastrointestinal symptoms, including abdominal discomfort, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, weight loss, diarrhea, and edema. Pediatric $M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease usually has an insidious onset and progressive, chronic clinical course and it spontaneously resolves in weeks or months. The pathogenesis of $M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease is not clearly understood. $M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease is thought to be associated with some gastric infections. But the cause of $M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease is unknown, an association with cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Helicobacter pylori has been suggested. In Korea, We present the first a case of pediatric $M\acute{e}n\acute{e}$trier's disease with positive evidence of CMV and H. pylori.

Flavonols are polyphenolic compounds that are present in dietary plant-based foodstuffs and beverages (e. g. apple, onion, grape fruit, tea) and medicinal plants (e. g. Crategus, Ruta graveolens, Silybum marianum, Fagopyrum species) in high concentrations. They have been reported to exhibit a wide variety of biological effects, including anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant and free-radical-scavenging activities.(omitted)

M$\acute{e}$n$\acute{e}$trier's disease is a rare form of acquired gastropathy characterized by giant rugal folds in the stomach and protein-losing gastropathy. Children with M$\acute{e}$n$\acute{e}$trier's disease tend to follow a benign self-limited course with symptoms typically completely resolving within 2 to 10 weeks in contrast to the chronic course in adults. A 9-year-old girl presented with a history of gradually worsening abdominal distension, increasing body weight, and abdominal pain for 2 weeks. Physical examination on admission indicated periorbital swelling, pitting edema in both the legs, and abdominal distension with mild diffuse tenderness and shifting dullness. Laboratory tests on admission showed hypoalbuminemia, hypoproteinemia, and peripheral eosinophilia. The test result for anti-cytomegalovirus immunoglobulin M was negative. Increased fecal alpha 1 anti-trypsin excretion was observed. Radiological findings showed massive ascites and pleural effusion in both the lungs. On gastroscopy, large gastric folds, erythema, erosion, and exudation were noted in the body and fundus of the stomach. Microscopic findings showed infiltration of eosinophils and neutrophils in the gastric mucosa. Her symptoms improved with conservative treatment from day 7 of hospitalization and resolved completely.

Former studies dealing with combined effects caused by chemical compounds in the metabolically competent hepatoma cell line Hep G2 indicated that Hep G2 cells are useful and sensitive indicators for the identification of synergisms of promutagens, comutagens and antimutagens which are relevant in eukryontic (human) cells. In the present study we examined the modulation of DNA damages by the suspected antimutagens ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, alpha-naphthoflavone and beta-naphthoflavone in Hep G2 cells.(omitted)

생태순간평가(Ecological momentary assessment)는 대상자의 현재 경험과 행동을 일상생활 환경에서 실시간으로 반복 측정하는 연구방법으로 수집된 자료를 통해 시간과 맥락에 따른 경험과 행동의 변화를 알 수 있다. Trier Inventory for Chronic Stress (TICS)는 순간 스트레스를 측정하기 위한 도구로써 대상자가 일상생활에서 경험하는 스트레스를 측정할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 축약형 TICS를 한국판으로 번역 후 생태순간평가를 적용하여 수집된 자료로 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하고자 함이다. 연구대상은 수도권 지역에 위치한 경찰서, 지구대에 근무하는 89명의 경찰 공무원으로 본 연구를 위해 개발된 순간 스트레스 측정 애플리케이션을 대상자 소지의 스마트폰에 설치하도록 하였다. 자료 수집은 1명의 대상자당 총 7일간 하루 4번 순간 스트레스 설문을 통해 수집하였고, 자료 분석은 수집된 총 1163회의 순간 설문 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 타당도 검증은 전문가 타당도 분석, 확인적 요인 분석, 한국인 직무 스트레스 점수와 상관관계 분석으로 하였고 신뢰도 검증은 Cronbach's α 값을 확인하였다. 연구 결과 순간 스트레스 측정 도구의 타당도와 내적 일관성 신뢰도는 도구로 활용하기 적합한 수준이었다(I-CVI=.83-1, RMSEA=.104, SRMR=.104, CFI=.948, TLI=.919, Cronbach's α =.839). 따라서 본 도구는 대상자의 순간 스트레스 측정에 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

영화 <살인마 잭의 집 The House that Jack Built>은 주인공 잭이 12년간의 연쇄살인과정에서 점차 정신병 증상을 지닌 '광기의 예술가'로 재탄생되는 모습을 다룬다. 강박증 증상을 지니고 있는 엔지니어 잭은 한차 레의 우연한 살인으로 향락을 느끼면서 사람을 죽이는 것을 하나의 예술 형태로 간주하고 이 과정에서 강박증을 극복하게 된다. 본고에서 주목하는 문제는 과연 반복 살인이라는 행위로 강박증 증상이 극복될 수 있는가? 하는 질문이다. 따라서 본고는 잭의 강박증은 살인과정에서 극복 된 것이 아니라 신경증에서 안정화 된 정신병 상태로 이행하면서 그 증상이 사라졌다는 관점을 밝히는 것이다. 프랑스의 유명한 정신분석학자 라캉(Lacan)의 이론에 따르면 인간 주체가 현실적인 안정성을 잃을 때 경험하는 환각이나 망상은 상징계의 틈새로 비집고 들어오는 실재(The Real)와 직면할 때 나타나는 현상이다. 영화 속 잭의 망상으로 구축된 가짜현실과 같은 현상은 잭에게 부성은유의 부재로 인해 '아버지의 이름'(The Name-of-the- Father)이 제대로 자리 잡지 못한 원인으로 나타나는 병리적 증상이다. 따라서 본고는 라스 폰 트리에( Lars von Trier) 감독의 영화 <살인마 잭의 집>의 주인공 잭이 지닌 정신병 구조를 라캉의 정신분석을 통해 해독한다.

Recently, rotating elements which use mechanical and electrical systems have been utilized for high speed and accuracy to increase the performance. The most important thing to get a more reliable system is to understand the friction, wear and characteristics which has an effect on various coated surfaces. In this study, the tribologicali characteristics of various soft/hard materials were investigated by using a custom-built pin-on-reciprocator tester From the experimental results, it was found that the friction coefficients of the soft material coated surfaces were lower under various normal loads due to trier self-lubricating ability and material transfer to the counter surface.
