It is difficult to make an artificial central incisor similar to natural tooth. All ceramic porcelain of this patient is not esthetic, and there is gingival recession due to ill-fitted margin. She has class II division 1 occlusion, so upper central incisors is labioversed. Upper light central incisor is well-characterized but the yellowish brown color of dentin is appeared on the incisal third portion of the central incisor. At 1st trial, the shape and characterization of restoration is good but shade is little dark. At 2nd trial, the shape is better but patient complained on black triangle of mid interdental space, so mesiocervical portion of restoration is overcontoured to compromise the black triangle. Completed metal ceramic crown is in harmony with the adjacent central incisor in aspect of shape, shade, and characterization.

In this paper, an approach to deal with model uncertainty using norm-optimal iterative learning control (ILC) is mentioned. Model uncertainty generally degrades the convergence and performance of conventional learning algorithms. To deal with model uncertainty, a worst-case norm-optimal ILC is introduced. The problem is then reformulated as a convex minimization problem, which can be solved efficiently to generate the control signal. The paper also investigates the relationship between the proposed approach and conventional norm-optimal ILC; where it is found that the suggested design method is equivalent to conventional norm-optimal ILC with trial-varying parameters. Finally, simulation results of the presented technique are given.
Noninferiority trials test whether a new experimental treatment is not unacceptably less efficacious than an active control treatment already in use. With continuous improvements in health technologies, standard care, and clinical outcomes, the incremental benefits of newly developed treatments may be only marginal over existing treatments. Sometimes assigning patients to a placebo is unethical. In such circumstances, there has been increasing emphasis on the use of noninferiority trial designs. Noninferiority trials are more complex to design, conduct, and interpret than typical superiority trials. This paper reviews the concept of noninferiority trials and discusses some important issues related to them.
The appropriate fleet estimation of the excavation equipment is a major factor in the determination of the cost and time requirements of a project. But the decision of what kind of equipment selected is often based on heuristic methods or trial and error in Korea. Thus, this study proposes a prototype model that uses genetic algorithms to select fleet estimation of loaders (backhoe) and trucks used in excavation work. To verify the applicability of this model, the case study was performed. And the result of the genetic model was compared with that of the trial & error method. The use of the genetic model suggested this study required 44days, 2 units of backhoes, 7 units of trucks, and a total cost of 171,839,756 won. With the estimated fleet number of equipment, the minimum cost of excavation work can be calculated, taking account of the time-cost trade-off. By utilizing this prototype model, the efficiency of excavation work can be improved.
Recent assessments of the biosimilarity of biologic products have received considerable global attention. A clinical trial should be conducted to assess the biosimilarity of a biosimilar product and a innovator biological product. In this paper we will describe several methods for the implementation of clinical trials and statistical analysis, a real international case and related international guidelines.

At the conclusion of a double-blinded, randomized clinical trial of propranolol hydrochloride, but before un blinding, the patients and clinic personnel were asked to guess the treatment group assignment of each patient. While 79.9% of the patients receiving propranolol correctly Identified their treatment group assignment, 57.2% of the patients receiving placebo incorrectly guessed that they were aiso in the propranolol group. No specific mechanism was identified to explain why more patients receiving propranolol were better able to guess' their group assignment. Clinic physicians correctly identified the group assignment of 69.9% of the patients receiving propranolol and 68.8% of the patients receiving placebo. Clinic coordinators correctly identified the group assignment of 67.1% of the patients receiving propranolol and 70.6% of the patients receiving placebo. For clinic personnel, heart rate level and heart rate change seem to be the mechanisms employed to Identify their patients' treatment assignment.
This study was carried out to estimate effects of synbiotics containing anaerobic microorganisms and prebiotics on in vitro fermentation characteristics and in situ disappearance rate of fermented total mixed ration (F-TMR). For the in vitro trial, ninety vinyl bags were prepared to analyze temperature, pH, ammonia concentration, microbial growth rate and short chain fatty acid concentration. For the in situ trial, one hundred twenty nylon bags were prepared to analyze dry matter (DM), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) disappearance rate. Treatments consisted of a basal diet (US) with prebiotics and probiotics from anaerobic mold (MS), bacteria (BS), yeast (YS) or compound (CS). It was found that temperatures at 14 and 21 days were significantly higher (p<0.05) in the YS and CS than in the others. The pH at 21 days was lower in the CS than in the US. The synbiotic treatments had significantly increased (p<0.05) ammonia concentration at 21 days. The DM disappearance at 72 h was significantly higher (p<0.05) in the MS and CS than in the others. ADF and NDF disappearance rate tended to increase at a rate similar to the DM disappearance rate. Therefore, this study suggests that synbiotics (probiotics with prebiotics) may partially help the quality of fermentation and digestibility of TMR (MS and CS) as fiber disappearance.
This study was carried out to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of red ginseng by-product (RGB) on the laying performance, blood biochemistry, and microbial population in laying hens. A total of 120 Hy-Line Brown laying hens (75 weeks old) were randomly allotted to 1 of 3 dietary treatments with 4 replicates per treatment. A commercial-type basal diet was prepared, and 2 additional diets were prepared by supplementing 5.0 or 10.0 g/kg of RGB to the basal diet at the expense of corn. The diets were fed to hens on an ad libitum basis for 4 weeks. There were no differences in feed intake, egg weight, and feed conversion ratio during 4 weeks of the feeding trial. However, hen-day egg production was significantly greater (p<0.05) for the RGB treatment groups than that for the basal treatment group. There were no differences in triglyceride, aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine aminotransferase during the 4-week feeding trial. However, RGB supplementation increased (p<0.05) the serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgM content compared with basal treatment group. The total cholesterol was lower (p<0.05) in the RGB treatments groups than that in the basal treatment group. The intestinal Lactobacillus population was greater (p<0.05) for the RGB treatments groups than that for the basal treatment group. However, the numbers of Salmonella and Escherichia coli were not different among dietary treatments. During the entire experiment, there was no significant difference in egg quality among all the treatments. In conclusion, in addition to improving hen-day production, there were positive effects of dietary RGB supplementation on serum immunoglobulin and cholesterol levels in laying hens.

About 60% to 90% of a total population experience low back pain at least once of life, and about 35% to 79% among them experience a recurrent and chronic low back pain. thread-embedding therapy is mainly used to improve appearance or treat obesity in early stage, but recently it is also used to treat musculoskeletal pain. This study aimed to search Chinese study using thread-embedding therapy on low back pain and to analyse their methodology. Three Chinese database(CNKI(www.cnki.net), WANFANG(www.wanfangdata.com), WEIPU(www.cqvip.com)) were searched for clinical study of thread-embedding therapy up to March 2016. The characteristics of included studies and regimen of thread-embedding in those studies were analyzed. The total 21 studies (4 case studies, 16 non-randomized controlled trials, 1 randomized controlled trial) were included. All studies on thread embedding treatment of low back pain reported that its effectiveness was very good. The most frequently used acupoints was Ashi acupoints and acupoints on bladder meridian(BL) or governor vessel(GV). Thread-embedding therapy is considered very useful for low back pain in Traditional Chinese medicine. Further studies are needed to investigate the effect of thread-embedding therapy and to expand its application. This study is limited in that the literature search in the Chinese database were restricted.

The maritime sector is advancing with dedicated endeavor to reduce greenhouse gas in addressing issues with regards to global warming. Since 01 January 2013, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulation mandatory requirement for Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) has been in place and should be satisfied by newly-built ships of more than 400 gross tonnage and the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) for all ships type. Therefore, compliance to this necessitates planning during the design stage whereas verification can be carried-out through an acceptable method during sea trial. The MEPC-approved 2013 guidance, ISO 15016 and ISO 19019 on EEDI serves the purpose for calculation and verification of attained EEDI value. Individual ships EEDI value should be lower than the required value set by these regulations. The key factors for EEDI verification are power and speed assessment and their synchronization. The shaft power can be measured by telemeter system using strain gage during sea trial. However, calibration of shaft power onboard condition is complicated. Hence, it relies only on proficient technology that operates within the permitted ISO allowance. On the other hand, the ship speed can be measured and calibrated by differential ground positioning system (DGPS). An actual test on a newly-built vessel was carried out to assess the correlation of power and speed. The Energy-efficiency Design Index or Operational Indicator Monitoring System (EDiMS) software developed by the Dynamics Laboratory-Mokpo Maritime University (DL-MMU) and Green Marine Equipment RIS Center (GMERC) of Mokpo Maritime University was utilized for this investigation. In addition, the software can continuously monitor air emission and is a useful tool for inventory and ship energy management plan. This paper introduces the synchronization and identification method between shaft power and ship speed for EEDI verification in accordance with the ISO guidance.
