In this study, the variation in surface morphology of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin films treated with a flow of acetone vapor assisted by nitrogen carrier gas was investigated. The CuPc nanorods with similar dimensions were well dispersed throughout the whole film surfaces after ~20 min. of treatment. However, the electronic absorption spectra only changed slightly, which indicates that molecular stacking was not altered during treatment. This treating method is simple and more advantageous compared to other solvent treating technologies such as mixed solvent spray treatment using organic solvents and water since it requires relatively mild treating conditions and does not need the presence of water.

Pregnancy induces significant anatomical and physiological changes in the mother. Many pregnant women need dental treatment due to poor oral hygiene related to pregnancy. However, most dentists are reluctant to provide, and most pregnant women are reluctant to receive, dental treatment during pregnancy. Theoretically, maternally administered drugs are transferred to the fetus. Depending on the types of drugs and the stage of pregnancy, the effects of drugs on the mother, as well as the fetus, may vary. Local anesthetics are the most widely used in dental treatment. It is, therefore, important to understand the potential effects of local anesthetics during pregnancy. In this review, we will focus on the maternal and fetal effects of local anesthetics widely used in dental treatment with consideration of the use of local anesthetics during pregnancy.

Radioactive iodine therapy using I-131 for hyperthyroidism has been used for more than 50 years, and generally considered safe and devoid of major side effects. Appropriate patient selection criteria and clinical judgement concerning patient preparation should be employed for its optimal use. It has not been possible to resolve the trade-off between efficient definite cure of hyperthyroidism and the high incidence of post-therapy hypothyroidism. The dose of the I-131 needed to maintain euthyroid state remains an area of uncertainity and debate. Early side effects are uncommon and readily managable. Other than the need for long-term monitoring and, in most cases, lifelong thyroid hormone treatment for late adverse consequences of this treatment remains only conjectural. We have reviewed general principles and recent advances in radioiodine treatment for Graves' hyperthyroidism, specially regarding to several controversies.

This study deals with the characteristic of refrigerant for heat-treatment deformation control of SCM415 steel. The control of heat-treatment deformation must need the progress of production parts for an industry machine. Most of the deformation is occurred on unequal cooling. The unequal cooling is occurred by a property of quenching refrigeration. When a heated metal is deposited in the refrigeration, the cooling speed is so slow in early period of cooling because of occurring a steam-curtain. After more cooling, the steam-curtain is destroyed. In this progress, the cooling speed is very fast. The object of this study is to control the deformation of heat-treatment for the part of the industry machine by improving the conditions of quenching. The cooling curves and cooling rates of water, oil and polymer solution are obtained and illustrated. From the characteristics of the quenching refrigerant, the effects of heat-treatments on the thermal deformation and fatigue strength are also investigated.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report a case of conversion disorder child treated by oriental medical treatment. Methods : We diagnosed the patient as Soeumin Woolgwang disease and treated him with herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxa, consultation. We observed the improvement of his disease by checking his pseudo-seizure, stool, headache and chest discomfort. Results : By use of oriental medical treatment, we could make a considerable improvement of pseudo-seizure and other symptoms(stool, headache and chest discomfort). Conclusions : This study shows that oriental medical treatment can be an effective treatment for conversion disorder. But the symtoms may recur, so we need continuous observation and management.

Objectives To review the case studies and controlled studies about Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture treatment. Methods We searched 92 studies about Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture from 6 Korean web databases, using words 'Jungsongouhyul', 'Jungsongouhyul and pharmacopuncture', 'ouhyulpharmacopuncture' and 'ouhyul and pharmacopuncture' in Korean alphabet. We removed 63 duplicated studies. And we excluded 12 studies by reviewing abstract and the contents of a study. Results We selected 5 case studies and 12 controlled studies, excluding experimental research and study not on humans, not using the Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture for major treatment. Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture was used mostly in whiplash injury and all studies showed that Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture is effective treatment. But we found some lacking parts with study design in most studies. Conclusions We found out that Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture is effective in various diseases. But we need to do more well-designed study to increasing reliability of Jungsongouhyul pharmacopuncture treatment.

Objectives: The purpose of the case study is to report the effects of post traumatic stress disorder from sexual violence treated by an oriental medical treatment. Methods: The patient was treated by acupuncture at Baekhoi, Naegwan, Hapkok, Taeyang, Changmun and moxa at Baekhoi, Sin-Guel, Chungwan, Kwanwon. Results: The oriental medical treatment resulted considerable improvements for the patient. Conclusions: This study shows that the oriental medical treatment can be an effective treatment for sexual violence victims. However, the symptoms may recur, so we need to observe and manage the patients continuously.

Because of advanced control technology, Shop floor control system of various kinds of equipment and machinery need a web based remote monitoring to control process efficiently. This paper presents the development of Operation Control System. Operation Control System(OCS) is based on intelligent web monitoring, so that OCS is improved the working condition for the line of heat treatment process and the product's quality. The developed OCS is consisted of Atmega128(MCU) based on embedded system, running the data logging of the line of heat treatment process. Web monitoring system is based on CS8900 ethernet controller and TCP/IP for remote monitoring responsibility between a server and clients and controlling the progress of entire system. The developed OCS is implemented on the line of heat treatment process and shows the improvement of environment condition, product's quality and efficiency of process line.

Since the diversification, complication of the construction industry, construction conflicts have been increased these days. Expansion of scale of construction has brought conflict treatment cost increase. Thus, needs of the study on construction conflict risk factors and its management is getting important. But the existing studies about construction conflicts and risk factors that need to be cared to decrease construction cost are almost focused on analysis of number of conflict proposed. It means those studies can be helpful when want to know how many conflict have been instituted, however, they do not contain a close examination between types of conflict and cost of conflict treatment. The purpose of this study, therefore, is an extraction of conflict causes based on the conflict treatment cost and the choice of significant risk factors to be managed to prevent conflict and its treatment cost, which enables reducing the conflict treatment colt on control the risk factors.

This case report presents the orthodontic treatment of a 25-year-old patient with skeletal Class II and severe maxillary arch crowding, moderate mandibular arch crowding, anterior crossbite, and a missing lower incisor. He was treated with molar distalization using a modified C-palatal plate and temporary anchorage devices to create sufficient space for retraction. The total treatment duration was 21 months. After treatment, his occlusion and smile esthetics showed significant improvement. The modified C-palatal plate represents a treatment modality that enhances the prospects of non-extraction treatment and reduces the need for extraction.
