  • In Vessel Traffic Service, the management information on marine traffic control is almost transported by VHF. It is so difficult to exchange a lot of the related information necessary for marine traffic control exactly and in real time. Aiming at improved visualized data transporting network, we examine the methods for transporting and displaying the data on marine traffic controls. In this paper, we design the information networks established by broadcasting method and by internet method using home page in order to manage marine traffics in Masan port.

  • This paper compares load behavior of two fixing equipments for transporting unit modules. The suggested fixing equipment shows higher limit load than an existing fixing equipment, which proves that the suggested fixing equipment have higher safety.

  • We present the effect of interlayers of polymer tandem solar cells on their photovoltaic performance. P-type and n-type interlayers are essential for the series-connection of the subcells and enable to form the tandem cell architecture by the solution processing. In this study, we use PEDOT:PSS, nanocrystalline $TiO_2$, and blends of semiconducting polymers and fullerene derivatives as a hole transporting layer, electron transporting layer, and photoactive layers, respectively. We show that photovoltaic performances of polymer tandem solar cells depending on various PEDOT:PSS layers with the different electric conductivity and the various $TiO_2$ layer thickness.

  • For the high-performance Quantum dots-Light Emitting Diodes in the near-infrared and visible spectrum, adequate electro- and hole-transporting layers are required. The operation lifetimes of typical materials used in OLEDs are very limited and degraded especially by the oxygen and humid atmosphere. In this work, NiO was selected as a possible hole-transporting layer replacing the TPD film used in QD-LEDs. About 40-nm-thick NiO films have been deposited by the rf-sputtering method on various technical substrates such as FTO/glass, ITO/glass, and ITO/PEN. For the balance of charge carriers and quenching consideration, the resistivity of the deposited NiO films was investigated controlling the oxygen in the sputtering gas. NiO films were fabricated at room temperature and about 6mTorr using pure Ar, 2.5%-, 5%-, and 10%-mixed $O_2$ in Ar respectively. We also investigated the rf-power dependence on NiO films in the range of 80 ~ 200 Watts. The resistivity of the samples was varied from highly conductive to resistive state. Also discussed are the surface roughness of NiO films to provide the smooth surface for the deposition of QDs.

  • Vehicles transporting hazardous materials can make huge damage to people, properties and environment by traffic accidents. Therefore, transporting hazardous materials is a big issue with the cutting edge technology of communications in these days. However, despite this situation, Korean government gives limited efforts for systematic management, research and investment about hazardous materials. Accordingly, this research suggests the key path finding algorithm about management of real-time schedule and routes for vehicles transporting hazardous materials. Besides, the case study is progressed in transportation networks of Seoul in order to evaluate the reality of algorithm. Specifically, time-space network transformation is performed for time window attributes. In addition, this study proposes the techniques searching for non-dominated paths considering schedule by the multiobjective shortest path algorithm based on dynamic programming in dynamic transportation networks including multiobjective attributes.

A Study on the Development of Simulator for LPG Transporting System (LPG 이송시스템 교육장비(시뮬레이터) 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Simulator is being utilized usefully in industrial education. Especially, it is the best method to use for the higher value-added business or hazardous system to train. Also, it is needed to effect in forward-looking industrial education changing from theoretical education to hands-on training. Therefore, the development of equipment that can be used in both theory and experience class and its application to education help you to maximize the training effect on LPG transportation method when you work in the field. As a result of its applying to the education, the understanding of transportation system of educational equipment came out 4.86 points of 5 points, the utilization on site had 4.47 points/5 points, and the satisfaction has 0.5 points/4.48 points. The LPG transporting system(simulator) is considered effective when it is utilized in the education.

Synthesis of a novel non-conjugated Blue emitting material Copolymer and Fabrication of mono color OLED by doping various Fluorescent Dyes

  • The existing conjugated blue emitting material polymer which has been used for the two-wavelength method white-emission has good stability and low operating voltage as merits, but the imbalanced carrier transport has been indicated as problem area. We have introduced a novel blue emitting material having perylene moiety unit with hole transporting ability and blue emitting property and triazine moiety unit with electron transporting ability into the same host chain. We have synthesized N-[p-(perylen-3-y1)pheny1]methacry1 amide (PPMA) monomer and [N-(2,4-dipheny1-1,3,5-triazine)pheny1 methacry1 amide] (DTPM) monomer having blue light-emitting unit and electron transport unit, respectively by three steps. A novel non-conjugated blue emitting material Poly[N -[p­(perylene-3-y1) pheny1] methacry1 amide-co-N-[P-(4,6-dipheny1-1,3,5-triazine-2-y1]pheny1]methacry1 amide] (PPPMA-co-DTPM) copolymer having electron transporting unit was synthesized by the solution polymerization of PPMA and DTPM monomers with an AIBN initiator and showed high yield of $75{\%}$. It was very soluble in common organic solvents, and the fabrication of the thin film using a spin coating method was very simple. The PPPMA exhibited a good thermal stability.

  • Electroluminescent(EL) devices based on organic materials have been of great interest due to their possible applications for large-area flat-panel displays, where they are attractive because of their capability of multicolor emission, and low operation voltage. In this study, glass substrate/ITO/Eu(TTA)$_3$(Phen)/Al(A), glass substrate/ITO/TPD/Eu(TTA)$_3$(p-hen)/Al(B) and glass substrate/ITO/TPD/Eu(TTA)$_3$(phen)/AlQ$_3$/Al(C) structures were fabricated by vacuum evaporation method. where aromatic diamine(TPD) was used as a hole transporting material, Eu(TTA)$_3$(phen) as an emitting material. and tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)Aluminum(AlQ$_3$) as an electron transporting layer. Electroluminescent(EL) and I-V characteristics of Eu(TTA)$_3$(Phen) with a various thickness were investigated. This structure shows the red EL spectrum, which is almost the same as the PL spectrum of Eu(TTA)$_3$(phen). I-V characteristics of this structure show that turn-on voltage was 9V and current density was 0.01A/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at a dc operation voltage of 9V. Electrical transporting phenomena of these structures was explained using the trapped- charge-limited current model with I-V characteristics.

Photoluminescent and Electroluminescent Characteristics of Thin Films of Terbium Complex with Various Ligand Prepared by Vacuum Evaporation Method (진공 증착법에 의한 다양한 Terbium Complexes 박막의 광학적 및 전기적 특성 연구)

  • Organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) or electroluminescent devices have attracted much attention because of their possible application as large-area light-emitting displays. Their structure was based on employing a multilayer device structure containing an emitting layer and a carrier transporting layer of suitable organic materials. In this study, several Tb complexes such as Tb(ACAC)$_3$(Phen), Tb(ACAC)$_3$(Phen-Cl) and Tb(TPB)$_3$(Phen) were synthesized and the photoluminescence(PL) and electroluminescence (EL) characteristics of their thin films were investigated by fabricating the devices having a structure of anode/HTL/terbium-oomplex/ETL/cathode, where TPD was used as an hole transporting and Alq$_3$ and TAZ-Si were used as an electron transporting materials. It was found that the photoluminescence(PL) and electroluminescence(EL) characteristics of these terbium complexes were dependent upon the ligands coordinated to terbium metal. Details on the explanation of electrical transport phenomena of the structure with I-V characteristics of the OLEDs using the trapped-charge-limited current(TCLC) model will be discussed.
