Water balance has a significant impact on the overall fuel cell performance. Maintenance of proper water management should provide an adequate membrane hydration and avoidance of water flooding in the catalyst layer and gas diffusion layer. Considering the important of advanced water management in PEM fuel cell, this study proposes a simple one dimensional water transportation model of PEM fuel cell for use in a dynamic condition. The model has been created by assumption that the output is the water liquid saturation difference. The liquid saturation change is the total difference between the additional water and the removal water on the system. The water addition is obtained from fuel cell reaction and the electro osmotic drag. The water removal is obtained from capillary transport and evaporation process. The result shows that the capillary water transport of low temperature fuel cell is high because the evaporation rate is low.
The purpose of this study is to analyze 40 certified Education facilities and to find the way to acquire high scores and usefully method. As a result of analyzing the scores of 40 cases, We found the reasons why they had acquired low scores and high scores. Because the part of land use and transport is initial of the projects, this study focus on it and aim to pick out the items requiring improvement for the Education facilities. We expect to be helpful for the next design works through results of this study.

The purpose of the present study is to examine the heat transport limitations in a screen mesh heat pipe for electronic cooling by theoretical analysis. Diameter of pipe was 6mm, and mesh numbers were 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250, and water was investigated as working fluid. According to the change of mesh number, wick layer, inclination and saturation temperature, the maximum heat transport limitations by capillary, entraintment, sonic and boiling were analyzed by a theoretical design method of heat pipe, including capillary pressure, pumping pressure, liquid friction coefficient in wick, vapor friction coefficient, etc. Based on the results, the capillary limitation in a small diameter of heat pipe is largely affected by mesh number and wick layer. Mesh number of 250 is desirable not to be used in pipe diameter of 6 mm, because capillary heat transport limitation decreases by the abrupt increase of liquid friction pressure due to the small liquid flow area. For the heat transport of 15 watt in 6mm diameter pipe, mesh number of 100 and one layer is an optimum wick condition, which thermal resistance is the smallest.
In this study, the heat transport limitations of a two-phase closed thermosyphon were investigated. For the test, a two-phase closed thermosyphon ($L_t/: 600 mm,\;L_e:105mm,\;L_a:75mm,\;L_c:420mm,\;D_o:22.2mm,$ container: copper (inner grooved surface), working fluid: PFC ($C_6F_14$) was fabricated with a reservoir that can change the fill charge ratio. The following was imposed as the factors on the heat transport limitations of a two-phase closed thermosyphon. 1) Fill charge ratio of the working fluid. 2) Tilt angle of the longitudinal axis. From tile experimental data, some results were obtained as follows. When the fill charge ratio was relatively small ($\psi$20%), the heat transport limitation occurred about 100W by dry-out limitation. However over 40%, it shelved nearly constant value (500 W) by flooding limitation. The heat transport limitation according to the tilt angle increased smoothly until the tilt angle was $60^{\circ}$,/TEX>, after then decreased slowly.
An experimental investigation of a Reversible Loop Heat Pipe (RLHP) was conducted to determine the operating limits and performance characteristics as functions of the thermophysical parameters, the heat input, and the cooling intensity. Variations in both temperature and heat transport capacity were measured and analyzed in order to accurately evaluate the transient operating characteristics. In addition, the maximum heat transport as a function of the mean evaporator temperature, the ratio of heat transport to heater input power as a function of the mean evaporator temperature, and the overall thermal resistance as a function of the overall heat transport capacity were examined as well. Results indicated that the cooling intensity played an important role on the operating characteristics and performance limitation. The maximum heat transports corresponding to cooling intensity $72W/^{\circ}C$ and $290W/^{\circ}C$ were 446 W and 924 W, respectively. Also, observation of the startup characteristics indicated that the mean evaporator temperature should be maintained between $40^{\circ}C$ and $60^{\circ}C$, and overall thermal resistance were measured as $0.02^{\circ}C/W$.
This study deals with the characteristic of refrigerant for heat-treatment deformation control of SM45C steel. The control of heat-treatment deformation must need the progress of production parts for a landing gear. Most of the deformation is occurred on unequal cooling. The unequal cooling is occurred by a property of quenching refrigeration. When a heated metal is deposited in the refrigeration, the cooling speed is so slow in early period of cooling because of occurring a steam-curtain. After more cooling, the steam-curtain is destroyed. In this progress, the cooling speed is very fast. The object of this study is to control the deformation of heat-treatment for landing gear by improving the conditions of quenching. The cooling curves and cooling rates of water, oil and polymer solution are obtained and illustrated. From the characteristics of the quenching refrigerant, the effects of heat-treatments on thermal deformation and fatigue strength are also investigated.

A sequence of visually experimental observations was conducted to investigate the flow boiling and two-phase flow in a coiled tube. Different boiling modes and bubble dynamical evolutions were identified for better recognizing the phenomena and understanding the two-phase flow evolution and heat transfer mechanisms. The dissolved gases and remained vapor would serve as foreign nucleation sites, and together with the effect of buoyancy, centrifugal force and liquid flow, these also induce very different flow boiling nucleation, boiling modes, bubble dynamical behavior, and further the boiling heat transfer performance. Bubbly flow, plug flow, slug flow, stratified/wavy flow and annular flow were observed during the boiling process in the coiled tube. Particularly the effects of flow reconstructing and thermal non-equilibrium release in the bends were noted and discussed with the physical understanding. Coupled with the effects of the buoyancy, centrifugal force and inertia or momentum ratio of the two fluids, the flow reconstructing and thermal non-equilibrium release effects have critical importance for flow pattern in the bends and flow evolution in next straight sections.
The growth of bacteria on the surface of the meat was monitored to investigate the relationships between microbiological quality and some environmental factors such as the chilling temperature, alcohol spraying, and transport in slaughter process of pigs. The temperature changes of the surface and inner part of pork carcass were monitored with GreenTrack$\textregistered$ system during the process of chilling and transport Of the 100pigs tested, the prevalence of level on number of standard plate count (SPC) less than $10^4$ CFU/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and Escherichia coli less than $10^2$ CFU/$\textrm{cm}^2$ in pig were 82% and 80%, respectively. Suface bacterial numbers are decreased in the course of chilling process of the carcass. Alcohol spray process before packing meat also could decrease the surface bacterial count. In conclusion, this study could be overemphasized the importance of relationship between microbiological quality and refrigerating temperature in the process of refrigeration and cutting.
Enthalpy transport in a pulse tube was investigated by two-dimensional analysis of mass, momentum and energy equations assuming that the axial temperature gradient in the pulse tube is constant. Time-averaged second-order conservation equations of mass, momentum and energy were used to show the existence of steady mass streaming and enthalpy streaming. Effects of axial temperature gradient, velocity amplitude ratio and heat transfer between the gas and the wall on the steady mass streaming and enthalpy streaming were shown. Enthalpy loss due to the steady mass streaming is zero for basic and orifice pulse tube refrigerators, but it is proportional to the axial temperature gradient and steady mass flow rate through a pulse tube for double inlet pulse tube refrigerators.
