한계손실계수에 의한 한전 예상첨두계통 송전손실 특성 분석 (Analysis on Characteristics of Transmission Loss using Marginal Loss Factors Based on the KEPCO's Expected Peak Load Data of Year 2000)

  • The transmission networks are not perfect conductors and a percentage of the power generated is therefore lost before it reaches the loads. This network loss effects to the cost of suppling power to consumers, and must be considered if the most efficient dispatch and location of generators and loads is to be achieved. In this paper, we propose an approximate calculation of marginal loss factors to analyze characteristics of transmission loss of KEPCO power system. These static marginal loss factors are approximately calculated based on the KEPCO's expected summer peak load data of year 2000.

Harmonic Distortion Contribution for the Transmission Loss Allocation in Deregulated Energy Market: A New Scheme for Industry Consumer

  • The industry has rapidly growth and energy supply technology advanced are become main factor which to contribute of the harmonic losses. This problem is one aspect that may affect the capability of the transmission line and also to the efficiency of electricity. This paper proposes a new scheme to allocate the cost pertaining to transmission loss due to harmonics. The proposed method, called as Generalized Harmonic Distribution Factor, uses the principle of proportional sharing method to allocate the losses among the transmission users especially for industry consumers. The IEEE 14- and 30 bus test system is used to compare the proposed method with existing method. The results showed that the proposed method provided a scheme better in allocating the cost of transmission loss, which could encourage the users to minimize the losses.

철도차량용 알루미늄 압출재의 음향 투과손실 예측에 관한 연구 (A Method of Analysis to Predict Sound Transmission Loss of an Extruded Aluminum Panel for Use on Railway Vehicles)

  • 고속철도 차량의 프레임은 굽힘 강성이 높고 가벼운 알루미늄 압출재를 이용하고 있으나, 그 차음성능은 동일 면밀도의 평판에 비하여 취약하다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석을 통하여 알루미늄 압출재의 음향투과 손실 값을 예측하는 방법을 제시하였다. 압출재를 유한요소로 모델링하고 무반사 방사조건, 시편의 경계 조건, 재질의 감쇠손실계수 등을 사용하여 투과손실을 예측하였으며, 해석결과의 신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 압출재 시편을 대상으로 ASTM E2249-02에 근거한 투과손실을 측정하였다. 제시된 해석방법은 철도차량용 알루미늄 압출재의 차음특성을 설계단계에서 파악하고 대책을 수립하는데 유용하게 활용될 것이다.

손실율을 이용한 전력구내 온도특성 해석 (A Study on the Temperature Characteristics Analysis in Tunnel using Loss Factor)

  • To cope with the ever increasing electric power demands in metropolitan areas, a greater underground cable transmission capacity is required. In general, it must be determined whether the temperature in the tunnel maintains the maximum allowable temperature. In order to improve this point, it is used to the loss factor. But, for economic cooling, it is problem to use such loss factor in this country. In this study, based on the load factor in this country, technique for calculating the loss factor has been presents. The suggested method has been tested in a sample section using the computer and the results have shown the usefullness of the suggested method.

통근형 지하철의 실내소음저감 (Interior Noise Reduction for Subway Railroad Vehicles)

  • In this paper, the intoner noise reduction for subway railroad vehicles was studied by improving transmission loss of carbody panels and side doors, and on-line tests were conducted to examine the exterior noise levels at various running conditions. Also the transmission loss for design candidates of the carbody specimen was measured in two reverberation rooms. From the results of the tests, side door gap is the most dominant factor affecting the Interior noise level of subway railroad cars with a sliding typed side door. The next one is revealed to transmission loss of a floor panel. To improve the transmission loss of the carbody, many activities were conducted such as, treatment of resilient and sound-absorbing materials and reducing the gap of the side door by adopting a brush and rubber, etc. The estimated interior noise level for modified car which is designed with improved carbody panels is lower than original car by about 5㏈.

  • The hermetic rotary compressor is one of the most important components of an air conditioning system since it has a great effect on both the performance and the noise and vibration of the system. Noise and vibration occurs due to gas pulsation during the compression process and to unbalanced dynamic force. In order to reduce noise and vibration, it is necessary to identify their sources and transmission path and effectively control them. Many approaches have been tried in order to identify the noise transmission path of a compressor. However, identification has proven to be difficult since the characteristics of compressor noise are complicated due to the interaction of the compressor parts and gas pulsation. In this study, the statistical energy analysis has been used to trace the energy flow in the compressor and to identify the transmission paths from the noise source to the exterior sound field.

  • The objective of this paper is to perform measurements of power transmission and reflection coefficients in a coupled plate. The coupled plate has been divided into 2 subsystems. The out-of-plane vibration has been only considered with assumption of relatively small in-plane vibration. The coupling loss factors have been measured with consideration of the power balance condition. The power transmission and reflection coefficients has been estimated from the measured values of the coupling loss factors. The measured power transmission and reflection coefficients have been compared with the corresponding theoretical coefficients in a semi-infinite coupled plate.

  • In this paper Statistical Energy Analysis has been considered to predict middle, high frequency air borne interior noise. PIM method is used for verification. Damping loss factor and coupling loss factor have been derived from the response(SPL) of sub systems when the power is applied. The airborne SEA model of vehicle is modeled through AutoSea2. Insulation material's absorption coefficient and transmission loss are acquired from closed form solution and experiment.

  • The Statistical Energy Analysis is based on the power flow and the energy conservation between sub-systems, which enable the prediction of acoustic and structural vibration behavior in mid-high frequency ranges. This paper discusses the identification of SEA coupling loss factor parameters from experimental measurements of small reverberation chamber sound pressure levels and structural accelerations. As structural subsystems, steel plates with and without damping treatment are considered. Calculated CLFs were verified by both transmission loss values for air-borne CLF case and running SEA commercial software As a result, CLFs have shown a good agreement with those computed by software. Acoustical behavior of air-borne noise and structure-borne noise has been examined. which shows reasonable results, too.

다중층 음향 재료의 투과손실 예측과 측정 (Prediction and Measurement of Sound Transmission Loss for Multi-layered Acoustical Materials)

  • In this paper, the predictions and measurements of sound transmission loss(STL) are discussed for various types of acoustical materials and carpets. Random incidence sound transmission losses are measured by the sound intensity method. The in-house software HONUS2005 is used to predict TL and estimate the various physical properties such as the flow resistivity, the structure factor, the porosity, the Possion's ratio, and etc. After this estimation, various multi-layered materials with a steel plate are measured and predicted. In particular, Carpets are assumed to be membranes to predict acoustical performance. To confirm this assumption, double and triple-layered cases are also observed including two different kinds of carpets.
