교량, 토공 접속구간 궤도동적계측 및 해석에 관한 연구 (Experimental and Analysis Study on Transition Area Between Bridge and Earthwork)

  • The transition between bridge and earthwork often causes the problems of maintenance. The damages of the track on the transition area influence running safety of train and serviceability, increase the maintenance cost. Therefore it is very important to evaluate the dynamic responses of transition and take a efficient measure. In order to evaluate the dynamic behavior of track, the field estimations are performed at the transition area of a conventional line between bridge and earthwork. And the track system on the transition area numerically analyzed to evaluate the dynamic behavior of damaged track with void sleeper. The measured values and Analysis results such as wheel contact force, rail stress, displacement acceleration and track irregularity in the transition area show the dynamic forces are severe. So it is recommended that the transition area should be improved the rigidity by reinforcing the rail.

  • It is of great importance to assure the running safety and ride comfort in designing the floating slab track for the mitigation of train-induced vibration. In this paper, for this, analyzed are the system requirements for the running safety and ride comfort, and then, the behavior of train and track at the transition zone between the floating slab track and the conventional concrete slab track according to several main design variables such as spring constant, damping coefficient, spacing and arrangement of isolators and slab length, using the dynamic analysis technique considering the train-track interaction. The results of numerical analysis demonstrate that the discontinuity of the support stiffness at the transition results in a drastic increase of the vertical vibration acceleration of the train body, wheel-rail interaction force, rail bending stress and uplift force. The increase becomes higher with the decrease of the spring constant of isolators and the increase of the isolator spacing, but the damping ratio does not significantly affect the behavior of train and track at the transition. Therefore, to assure the running safety and ride comfort, simultaneously increasing the effectiveness of vibration isolation, it is effective to minimize the relative vertical offset between the floating slab and the conventional track slab by adjusting the spring constant and spacing of isolators at the transition.

철도교량 단부 궤도의 사용성 향상을 위한 횡단궤도시스템 적용에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Applying a Transition Track System to Improve Track Serviceability in Railway Bridge Deck Ends)

  • 콘크리트궤도가 부설된 철도교량 단부의 궤도구성품(레일 및 체결구)에는 교량 단부회전에 의해 상향력 및 압축력과 같은 궤도-교량의 상호작용력이 작용하여 손상 및 성능저하가 유발된다. 이러한 교량의 휨거동에 기인한 단부 궤도의 상호작용에 따른 문제를 해결하고자 본 연구에서는 횡단궤도시스템을 개발하고 그 성능을 입증하였다. 횡단궤도시스템의 구조안정성 검토를 위해 3차원 유한요소해석을 통한 시간이력해석을 실시하고 그 결과를 독일의 성능요구조건 및 관련기준과 비교하였다. 또한, 교량-궤도 상호작용 분석을 위한 시험체를 제작하여 실내시험을 수행하고 횡단궤도시스템의 적용 효과를 평가하였다. 연구결과 횡단궤도시스템의 정, 동적 구조안정성 및 횡단궤도 적용 후 교량 단부 궤도의 상호작용력(레일변위, 레일저부응력 및 체결구 응력)이 크게 저감될 수 있음을 실험적으로 입증하였다.

접속구간 궤도강성변화 기준에 관한 연구 (The criteria for the change ratio of track stiffness along transition area)

  • The transition zone between railway embankment and structures, or different track types is known to be an area in which problems often arise and where extra care needs to be taken with maintenance. Differences in track stiffness have dynamic effects and these increase the force in the track and the extent of deformation. In this study, the criteria for the change ratio of track stiffness along transition area, and proper transition length are presented through train/track interaction analyses. Those are derived on the basis of permissible limitations of train and track performances such as rail stress, uplift force of fastener, reduction of dynamic wheel force, and acceleration of car body. A feasible method of evaluation of track stiffness which is necessary when a designer reviews whether the criteria are satisfied or not is also presented.

종곡선과 완화곡선 경합시 차량주행안전성 및 승차감에 대한 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study on Running Safety and Ride Comfort in Case of Superimposition of Vertical and Transition Curves)

  • 현행 철도건설기준에서 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합은 궤도형식에 관계없이 허용하고 있지 않다. 그러나 이러한 기준은 주로 자갈도상궤도의 유지보수의 어려움 때문에 정립된 것이다. 콘크리트궤도는 자갈도상궤도에 비해 유지보수 및 구조안전성 측면에서 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 콘크리트 궤도의 경우, 열차의 주행안전성 및 승차감 기준을 만족하는 범위내에서 어느 정도의 선로경합은 완화할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합여부에 따라 도상종별 열차의 주행안전성 및 승차감, 그리고 궤도작용력을 비교 분석하였으며, 그 결과 경합된 경우도 주행안전, 승차감 및 궤도작용력 기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 비록 자갈도상궤도에서의 선로경합은 많은 유지보수를 필요로 하기 때문에 적용될 수는 없다 할지라도, 콘크리트궤도에서는 유지보수 및 구조적 장점을 고려할 때 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합이 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The transition between bridge or tunnel and plain track has different rail pressure and distributed stress on formation. This paper shows distribution of rail pressure on transition at which spring stiffness are changed. By this study, it is revealed that the changing into relatively high stiffness causes increased rail pressure visibly and draw up dynamic track force. A medium stiffness structure and reinforced rail could be effective for reducing track force on the transition.

  • It is very important to pay careful attention to construction of bridge/earthwork transition zone for high-speed railway. The transition zone of the railway is the section which roadbed stiffness is suddenly varied. Differences in stiffness have dynamic effects and these increase the forces in the track and the extent of deformation. An abrupt change of stiffness across two adjacent track portions cause irregular settlement of roadbed, track irregularity, lack of girder bending moment and reduction of lateral resistance. Especially on high-speed railway, track irregularity of transition zone cause sincere effect to track stability and train safety. And so continuous maintenance is needed. To verify this effect and to improve transiton zone capacity, In situ test, track irregularity and train acceleration test were performed on high-speed railway bridge/earthwork Transiton Zone.

  • This paper deal with optimal design of reinforced track as a track reinforcing method for transition area of track support stiffness in transition area between bridge and earthwork. When vehicle passes through transition area, dynamic properties between vehicle and track are studied by the analysis of vehicle-train interaction for the each case when reinforced tracks are used or not. furthermore, optimum decision of type and length of track are made based on the performance adapting variable parameters : support stiffness of track for bridge and earthwork, heading direction of vehicle and type and length of track.

  • In 1st Phase Kyeong-Bu High-Speed Line, to lessen the impact in the transition zone between concrete slab track(in tunnel) and ballasted track(on embankment), the ballast bonding method has been adopted. However, in this area, in the beginning of the operation, unsupported sleepers are found, and the track deterioration and damage of concrete sleepers have occurred. In this paper, the status and causes of unsupported sleepers are discussed and several repair measures are proposed.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 철도교량 단부 전환부 궤도의 구조적 거동특성을 평가하는 것이다. 국내 고속철도 교량상 궤도표준단면을 이용하여 전환부 궤도구조를 설계 및 제작하여 피로시험 전, 후에 대한 전환부 궤도시스템의 중립축 및 동특성(고유진동수 및 감쇠비)의 변화를 비롯하여 피로균열 발생경향을 수치해석 결과와 비교, 검토하였다. 연구결과, 국내 고속철도 궤도설계기준을 준용하여 설계한 전환부 궤도시스템에 대한 동특성을 실험적으로 산정하였으며 국내 철도하중 및 충격효과를 고려한 피로하중에 대한 구조적 건전성을 실험 및 해석적으로 입증하였다.
