저면산란 초음파 신호 및 신경회로망을 이용한 균열크기 결정 (Crack Size Determination Through Neural Network Using Back Scattered Ultrasonic Signal)

  • The role of quantitative nondestructive evaluation of defects is becoming more important to assure the reliability and the safety of structure, which can eventually be used for residual life evaluation of structure on the basis of fracture mechanics approach. Although ultrasonic technique is one of the most widely used techniques for application of practical field test among the various nondestructive evaluation technique, there are still some problems to be solved in effective extraction and classification of ultrasonic signal from their noisy ultrasonic waveforms. Therefore, crack size determination through a neural network based on the back-propagation algorithm using back-scattered ultrasonic signals is established in this study. For this purpose, aluminum plate containing vertical or inclined surface breaking crack with different crack length was used to receive the back-scattered ultrasonic signals by pulse echo method. Some features extracted from these signals and sizes of cracks were used to train neural network and the neural network's output of the crack size are compared with the true answer.

  • This study shows the process design and forming analysis of permalloy shielding can that support the automobile multi-display parts to indicate the accurate information of car. This study is particularly important, since the strain and thickness of permalloy shielding can is known to affect the magnetic properties such as coercivity and permeability quite thickness of permalloy shielding can is known to affect the magnetic properties such as coercivity and permeability quite sensitively. The objective functions are strain and thickness deviation. The punch radius, die radius and blank holding force are considered as design parameters. Orthogonal array (OA) table and characteristics are applied to neural network (NN) as train data. After training, the optimal and robust condition of design parameters is selected. This study shows the correlation between the design methodology of NN and the statistical design of experiments (DOE) approach.

여객-화물 복합열차의 화물 배치방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Baggage Allocation Method of Passenger-Baggage Hybrid Train)

  • 본 논문은 제한된 철도 수송능력 환경에서 여객과 화물을 동시에 수송하기 위한 복합화물열차의 화물 배치를 위한 방법 중, 라운드 컨베이어 시스템과 세로형 순환식 시스템. 가로형 순환식 시스템을 각각 P 택배사의 지역간 운송 화물량을 기준으로 부산에서 대구, 대전, 오송을 거쳐 서울에 도착함을 가정하여 각각 도착역별로 상하차 시간을 계산하였다. 그 결과 가로형 순환식 시스템은 화물 적재 가능량도 적었으며 상하차 시간도 434초로 가장 많이 소요되었고 세로형 순환식 시스템이 상차 시간이 다소 많이 소요되었지만, 총 소요시간에서는 408초로 가장 우수한 특성을 보였다. 각각 시스템별로 상하차 시간을 비교함으로 향후 복합화물열차 제작시에 유용한 방법을 제시하고 복합화물열차의 화물 운송 효율을 증진하고자 한다.

Competitive Advantages and Disadvantages of Trans-Siberian Railway Route -Case study of Korea and Japan-

  • TSR (Trans-Siberian Railway) route is losing price competitiveness versus Deep Sea route in the transportation from East Asia to Europe, including Moscow. To further attracting the containers to the TSR route, it will be necessary (1) to keep competitive through rate, linked to fluctuating Deep Sea rate; (2) to strengthen speed advantage; (3) to enforce seamless transportation system, including simplified customs clearance procedures. In transportation to Central Asia from East Asia (Korea and Japan), TSR is competitive versus TCR (Trans-China Railway), depending on destinations. Korea has been the leader in revitalizing the TSR route since 2000. Key contributors were affluent export containers to Russia and Central Asia, port of Busan, efficient maritime transport network to Far East Russia, and Korean forwarders' persistent efforts for activating the market. Korea and Japan have a possibility of cooperation in using the TSR route efficiently, such as organizing a joint block train to a same destination.

  • This study has been performed to consider how to support to be effectively linked hiring of skilled human resources that were discharged through actually related education programs, as demand of they are recently being increased due to the expansion of the logistics market, and effort to train them is being propelled. That is associated with the Busan region, and field of logistics service is 3PL that is seriously considered the area of professional services at the last logistics market. Through the methodology of System dynamics, this study has been modeled about dynamic mechanism considered the growth of logistics marker and relation to employment, and has been estimated about ripple effect within logistics market of major policies related with them.

패션제품 판매원의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션이 고객의 감정과 서비스품질에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Salesperson's Nonverbal Communication on Consumer Emotions and Service Quality in Fashion Shopping)

  • This study is to verify the influence of salesperson's nonverbal communication on consumer emotions, and service quality in fashion shopping. This study sample is limited to Busan and Kyungnam Province's fashion shopping consumers. The responders included 239. Data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, and AMOS. As the results, kinesics, proxemics, paralanguage, and physical appearance are a major influence on positive consumer emotions that influence service quality. Kinesics and proxemics are a major influence on negative consumer emotions; however, paralanguage, and physical appearance are not a major determinant to influence negative consumer emotions; in addition, there is a direct link between negative consumer emotions and service quality. Also, consumer emotions mediated the relationship between nonverbal communication and service quality. Therefore, fashion firms should train employee manners to ensure that nonverbal communication is important in service encounters.

신경망을 이용한 열간단조품의 초기 소재 설계 (Design of Initial Billet using the Artificial Neural Network for a Hot Forged Product)

  • In the paper, we have proposed a new technique to determine the initial billet for the forged products using a function approximation in neural network. A three-layer neural network is used and a back propagation algorithm is employed to train the network. An optimal billet which satisfied the forming limitation, minimum of incomplete filling in the die cavity, load and energy as well as more uniform distribution of effective strain, is determined by applying the ability of function approximation of the neural network. The amount of incomplete filling in the die, load and forming energy as well as effective strain are measured by the rigid-plastic finite element method. This new technique is applied to find the optimal billet size for the axisymmetric rib-web product in hot forging. This would reduce the number of finite element simulation for determining the optimal billet of forging products, further it is usefully adopted to physical modeling for the forging design

  • According to opening Seoul-Busan high speed rail line in 2004, we are studying to offer speedily for the parcel service of high speed rail-combined transport as it does, tender the quality freight services within a one and the same high speed train formation. Therefore, we reviewed for various types of HSR-combined transport and suggested to application methods in Korean high speed rail line. Through these kinds of approaches, we are able to expect the fulfillment of customer needs for high speed rail market segments, the profit maximization of future railway operating companies, and enhancement for cost-effective rail network operation of the mixed traffic on infrastructure cost-reduction in national logistics.

신경망을 이용한 냉간 단조품의 기하학적 형상 및 연성파괴 예측 (The Prediction of Geometrical Configuration and Ductile Fracture Using the Artificial Neural network for a Cold Forged Product)

  • This paper suggests the scheme to simultaneously accomplish prediction of fracture initiation and geomeytical configuration of deformation in metal forming processes using the artificial neural network. A three-layer neural network is used and a back propagation algorithm is adapted to train the network. The Cookcroft-Lathjam criterion is used to estimate whether fracture occurs during the deformation process. The geometrical configuration and the value of ductile fracture are measured by finite element method. The predictions of neural network and numerical results of simple upsetting are compared. The proposed scheme has successfully predicted the geometrical configuration and fracture initiation.

  • After the opening of Kyong-Bu High Speed Railway, tremendous change was occurred in the various realm in Korean Society. But in the Daegu-Busan section, KTX was still running on the conventional line where the railroad was improved to more straightly. For the noise prediction of KTX train which runs on the conventional line, components of noise source were analyzed using SEL(Sound Exposure Level) of meassured data. For the validation of suggested prediction equation, the predicted result was compared to the measured.
