The purpose of this study was to analyze middle school students' consumption lifestyle and develop a program for measuring Ecological Footprint (EF) for them. For this study, 200 male and female middle school students in large cities, medium & small cities were selected to analyze their consumption lifestyle. It was also that the existing programs for measuring EF were studied and basic rules of setting up new EF indicators were established based on the results of survey and literature study. 15 indexes was selected by dividing the life areas into food, housing, traffic, goods and services areas and than the delpi computer programming tools was used to develop program for measuring EF in this study. The program for measuring EF can be used as educational materials for consumers' environment education in the areas of social environment education and school environment education. The followings are suggestions coming out of this study. First, it is required to revise and complement program for measuring EF analyzing the problems that occur when applying it to middle school students actually. Second, some data that used during normalization of EF ate originally from the USA. So it is necessary to change the data to meet the Korean situation. Third, it is necessary to have design work that can invite interests of students with consumers' environmental education materials through cooperation between environmental education experts and computer programmers. Fourth, it is necessary to have practical research with consumers' environmental education adding educational contents into EF measurement program. Fifth, it is necessary to develop a method for distribution an expansion of the program for measuring EF to make it usable in different types of environmental education materials.
With the intensification of urban development in Chinese cities, mixed land use in urban centers extends vertically into 3-D and expands its scale from a single building to commercial clusters. The multi-level pedestrian system in city centers also changed its role from one of traffic isolation to spatial integration, where transit nodes, street sidewalks, squares, building entrances, atriums, and corridors are interconnected, both horizontally and vertically, into a whole spatial system, within which pedestrian flows are guided and shopping facilities are arranged. This paper uses spatial configuration analysis of space syntax to examine the impacts of spatial patterns on movement distribution and the business performance of tenant mix in the multi-level commercial system of the Nanshan Commercial Cultural District in Shenzhen, China. The key objective is to better understand the interactions between the socio-economic variables and spatial design parameters of a shopping complex. The research findings point to the importance of multiplicity between syntactic variables and other spatial variables in influencing the pedestrian flows, business performance and tenant mix in highly complex commercial systems. Particularly noteworthy is the relationship between spatial accessibility measures and the location of escalators, and the ways in which individual commercial buildings are embedded into the overall spatial system. The study suggests that this may lead to the preliminary identification of the spatial qualities of effective vertical extensions of mixed land use in a high-density urban settings.

In this paper, the performance of the DoS information security algorithm is evaluated to provide the multimedia traffic between the nodes using the multicasting services. The essence technology for information security to distribute the multimedia contents is presented. Under the multicasting services, a node participating new group needs a new address and the node compares the collision with the existing nodes, then DoS attack can be occurred between the nodes by a malicious node. Using the NS2 simulator, the number of DoS attacks, the average number of trials to generate new address, and the average time to create address are analyzed. From simulation results, the efficient algorithm with relevant random number design according to the DRM network is needed to provide secure multimedia contents distribution.
The respective delivering vehicle loaded with the own cargo moves into the respective delivery area. At the base, the delivery points D1 and D2, for example, have the same starting point but the destination is different. The average delivering time of the delivery vehicle is mostly more than 8 hours a day. Therefore, the efficiency of delivery is generally low. In this study, the deliveries will be forwarded from a base station to a delivery point where cross docking will be applied to a single vehicle, and will be distributed from the cross docking point through cross docking. If the distribution is implemented, one vehicle will not have to be operated from the base to the cross docking point. In that case, logistics cost will be reasonably saved by the reduction of transportation cost and labor time. If one vehicle only runs from the base to the cross docking point, each vehicle will be operated in two shifts, and the vehicle operation can be efficiently implemented. This research model is based on the assumption that the 3 types of ratios between the traffic volume of the vehicles starting at the base and the vehicles waiting at the cross docking point are set to the first ratio of 30% to 70%, the second ratio of 50% to 50% and the final ratio of 70% to 30%. As a result of the study, The delivery time in the cross docking point is much higher than that in present on the condition that the cargo volume in the D2 area is more than 50%. Likewise, the delivery time is slightly higher on the condition that the cargo volume is less than 50%. Time is reduced in terms of 50% model like AS-IS model.
Distributed problem solving is the cooperative solution of problem by a decentralized and loosely couped collection of knowledge-sources (KS's), located in a number of distinct processor nodes. The contract net protocol has been developed to specify problem-solving communication and control for nodes in a distributed problem solver. Task distribution is affected by a negotiation process, a discussion carried on between nodes with tasks to be executed and nodes that may be able to execute tasks In this paper, we present the coordination method among distributed intrusion detection system and firewall by the contract net protocol. The method enhances the intrusion detection performance and provides the communication methods. To mode IDS and firewall, security models hue been hierarchically constructed based on the DEVS (Discrete Event system Specification) formalism. Each ID agent cooperates through the contract net protocol for detecting intrusions. The IDS which detects the intrusion informs to firewall, so the harmful network traffic is blocked. If an agent detects infusions, the agent transfers attacker's information to a firewall. Using this mechanism attacker's packets detected by In can be prevented from damaging the network.

Bony remodeling pattern of condyle fractures in children are different from in adult for growing of condyle, also might affect treatment and prognosis of the condyle fracture. Subjects of this clinical and radiologic study were 26 temporomandibular joints diagnosed as condyle fracture in 23 patients under 15 years old age. They were treated with conservative method at Dental Hospital of Yonsei University from Jan., 1986 to Oct., 1994. Bony remodeling related with fracture pattern was evaluated. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The ratio of male to female in patients with condyle fracture was 1 : 0.9 and the difference of sex ratio was not noted. Comparing with preschool-age group and school-age group, age frequency was higher in preschool-age group(83%). 2. Fallen down(54%) was the most frequent cause of condyle fractures. Traffic accident and slip down were followed. 3. The most common clinical sign of condyle fractures was tenderness to paipation09 cases). Mouth opening limitation07 cases), swelling(7 cases), malocclusion(3 cases) were next in order. 4. According to sites of condyle fractures, unilateral fractures were in 20 patients and bilateral fractures in 3 patients, therefore total 23 patients-26 cases of condyle fracture were observed. According to fracture distribution, condyle fractures were in 10 patients(44%). Condyle fractures with symphysis fracture(9 patients, 39%), condyle fractures with ascending ramus fracture(2 patients, 9%), condyle fracture with mandibular body fracture(1 patient, 4%), and condyle fractures with mandibular angle fracture(1 patient, 4%) were followed. 5. In displacement pattern of fractured fragment of mandibular condyle, dispiacement(17 cases, 66%) was most common. Dislocation(5 cases, 19%) and deviation (4 cases, 15%) were next in order. 6. During the observation period of fractured condyles, remodeling patterns of fracture sites related with articular fossa were observed with usual condylar shape in 23 cases and with prominently different shape in 3 cases.

Trauma is one of the leading causes of death in children. Abdominal trauma is about 10 % of all pediatric trauma. This study describes the sex and age distribution, injury mechanism, site of intraabdominal injury, management and mortality of children aged 16 years or less who suffered abdominal trauma. The hospital records of 63 patients treated for abdominal injury between March 1997 and February 2007 at the department of surgery, Inje University Pusan Paik Hospital, were analyzed retrospectively. The peak age of incidence was between 2 and 10 years (78%) and this report showed male predominance(2.7:1). The most common mechanism of blunt abdominal trauma was pedestrian traffic accident (49%). The most common injured organ was liver. More than Grade IV injury of liver and spleen comprised of 4(12%) and 5(24%), respectively. Fourteen cases (22%) had multiple organ injuries. Forty nine cases (78%) were managed nonoperatively. Three patients (4.8%) died, who had Grade IV liver injury, Grade IV spleen injury, and liver and spleen injury with combined inferior vena cava injury, respectively. All of the three mortality cases had operative management. In conclusion, the liver or spleen injury which was more than Grade 4 might lead to mortality in spite of operation, although many cases could be improved by nonoperative management.
The subjects, under 18 old, 2,694 children who visited ER during 1998, were surveyed by the Triage and other statitical data. The results were as follows 1. The male to female ratio was 1.7 : 1, and the toddler(1-4 old) was the majority. 2. Triage ; critical 1.3%, acute 14.6%, urgent 29.5%, nonemergent 54.6%. 3. The reasons of visiting ER ; 1) The children had diseases(46.5%), injury (36.9%), TA(5.6%) and toxication(1.0%). 2) In diseases, male to female ratio was 1.5 : 1 and in injury, male to female was 2 : 1. 3) Among the children having in TA, 12-18 old groups was the majority(34.9%). 4. The time of visiting : the 20:00 - 22:00 was the majority(16.9%). 5. By monthly and seasonal distribution ; Jan. (9.7%), Mar. and May(9% respectively, Dec. and July(6.7%) respectively. The children who visted ER in spring and autumn showed higher portion than those of summer and winter. 6. Results ; admission(27.4%), discharge(68.4%), operations(2.8%), and DOA and DAA(0.4%), The mortality of the infancy and toddler groups was 83.3%. The infancy group showed the highest rate of admission. 7. The time of staying in ER ; 1-2 hrs was the major group(23.3%) and the average was 4.6 hours. 8. By clinical departments ; Ped. was 34.4%, PS was 20.8%, Dental Surgery was 10.3% and Dermatology was 0.9%. 9. The types of visting ; the group who visited by themselves was 80%, transfer from the primary and secondary clinic was 17% and OPD was 3.0%. 10. The traffic means . by the own cars and taxi were 87.6%, by hospital ambulance was 6.1% and by 119 ambulance was 4.3%.
In order to attract more transshipment cargoes, Busan Port Authority (BPA) has, since 2003, adopted the volume incentive policy by which more than US$ 10 million annually have been paid back to shipping lines that were called at the port. However, having been a transshipment port for the Northeast region of China, the port of Busan has come under threat from bold Chinese port development projects, notably Shanghai, as northern Chinese regionnl ports place more emphasis on building facilities capable of handling growing trade volumes. Undoubtedly this would lead to a decline in transshipment container traffic moved via Busan. The purpose of this paper is to identify some core factors that have been affecting the increase of transshipment cargoes of Busan and further to recommend BPA an improved incentive scheme with which more T/S cargoes can be attracted into the port of Busan To clarity the reason why T/S cargoes have increased in the port of Busan, several steps are made as follows: The first step is to make a quantitative model for explaining the development of T/S cargoes during the last decade. The second step is to define the dependent and the independent variables for multiple regressions after testing variable significance. For this, data collection and the accuracy of validation have been done by the direct interview with the experienced staffs in shipping companies of both domestic and foreign country. After validating the model with collected data, the final step is to find variables which are explaining the model mostly. In conclusion, 2 variables were clearly identified as core factors that explain well the development of T/S cargoes in the port of Busan: 'Mohring effect' and total cost. It is strongly recommended, by an empirical study, that an incentive scheme be changed to a way which more feeder vessels rather than mother vessels can reduce their direct costs to call in the port of Busan.
Founded on a close relationship between exhibition scenarios and media, this study was conducted 1) to establish exhibition arrangement types by using three analytical indicators, such as arrangement types of exhibition, groupings of similar exhibition media, and exhibition density; and 2) to demonstrate the importance of considering the characteristics of exhibition arrangement types by using viewing behavior codes as a major analytical indicator. The following three types were investigated in this research: First, the Independent type (Type C) was found to be strongly influenced by architectural and spatial forms, especially by low exhibition density and high visual information. Also, compared with the Wall Dominant type, low number of viewing behavior codes and distribution was found even though there were high correlations among viewing behavior codes. This is assumed to be due to low exhibition density. Second, the Wall Dominant type (Type A) was found to be not influenced by architectural and spatial forms. This is because space is planned and restructured centering on the wall type showcases. At the planning stage of exhibition, it is easy to divide or combine space according to the contents and structure of exhibition scenarios. Compared with the Independent type, low correlations were found among viewing behavior codes. This is due to low participation or manipulation exhibitions. However, this implies that more active viewing behaviors can be induced if appropriate exhibition techniques and arrangement methods are used for each exhibition content. Third, the Independent Dominant type (Type B) was found to confuse visitors in selecting routes by displaying too many exhibits at a limited space in a disorderly fashion. It failed to attract visitors to the main exhibition area, where a big space is formed in the center. Visitors were found to view exhibits that are arranged near the major traffic line.
