도로변 건물의 창문과 방음효과에 대한 평가 (A Study on the Sound Proof Efficiency of Windows for Road Traffic Noise)

  • Recently, the traffic noise around residences and schools has become a serious social problem with the increase of the amount of transportation. This study was performed to investigate the sound proof efficiency of windows for traffic noise. The results were as follows 1) The traffic noise in 19 sites among 22 sampling sites was higher value than 65 dB(A) being roadside environment standard level in the daytime when all windows were opened, while the noise in 22 sampling sites was transmitted below standard level when all windows were closed. 2) The transmission loss of sound level at single window and double windows were 10~25 dB(A) and 11~29 dB(A) respectively. 3) The transmission loss of sound level at sampled school with sound proof pannel was 7~8 dB (A), which was lower 2~7 dB(A) than the theoretical value of the influence assessment . 4) The construction cost of double windows was lower 28% even if include the cost of setting up air conditioner for the summer season and the power consuming cost for its operation than that of sound proof pannel for traffic noise. 5) The effect of transmission loss of windows was more influenced by airtight than materials of windows.

미시적 교통류 시뮬레이터기반 통행비용함수의 개발 및 적용 (Developing the travel cost function based on Microscopic Simulator(VISSIM) Data)

  • 일반적으로 도로정책평가 시, 이상적인 도로 교통조건에서 수집한 교통류 자료에 근거하여 BPR식 형태로 개발한 통행비용함수식을 일반화하여 적용한다. 하지만, BPR 형태로 개발된 모형은 장래교통량예측이나 통행행태분석에 있어서 적용이 도로 교통환경을 묘사하는데 적합하지 않은 것으로 보고되고 있다.(Spiess, 1989 ; Singh, 1999) 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 분석대상지의 도로 교통조건에 적합하도록 미시적 교통류시뮬레이터기반(Micro traffic Simulator Based : MSB)으로 생성된 자료로 통행비용함수를 개발, 검증하는 분석방법론을 제시하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이상적인 도로교통조건 이외의 상황에 대한 도로교통정책 평가에 적용이 용이하도록, 단시간에 다량의 교통류 자료생성이 가능한 미시적 교통류시뮬레이터(VISSIM)를 이용하여 분석대상지에 적합한 통행비용함수를 개발하는 방법론을 제시하였다. 둘째, VISSIM을 이용하여 생성한 분석자료를 기반으로 하여 BPR 함수식과 MSB 함수식을 각각 개발하고, 통계값 및 산포도를 이용한 모형들의 비교분석을 통하여 MSB 함수식의 활용가능성을 검증하였다.

  • In the design of telecommunication network, the network configuration using hubbing topology is useful for designing and managing the network efficiently : i. e. all of central offices (COs) are grouped into clusters. Each cluster has one hub consisting of large-scale transmission facilities like digital cross-connect systems and ATMs. In clustering process, the community of interest and geographical factor should be considered. However, there exists a tradeoff between two factors. One is to minimize total link costs for geographical factor and the other is to maximize the total intra-cluster traffics for community of interest. Hence, this can be solved by multiobjective linear programming techniques. In this paper, the problem under considerations is formulated as two p-median subproblems taking into considerations total costs and total intra-traffics, respectively. Then we propose the algorithm to solve the problem based on the concept of cost-traffic tradeoff. The algorithm enables to identify efficient cost-traffic tradeoff pairs. An illustration is also presented.

Design of ATM Networks with Multiple Traffic Classes

  • In this paper, we propose a new heuristic design algorithm for the virtual path (VP)-based ATM network with multiple traffic classes, in which QoS constraints associated with traffic class are taken into account. The minimum bandwidth of VP required to carry given amount of traffic is obtained by utilizing an equivalent bandwidth concept, and the route of each VP is placed so that the network cost is minimized while the QoS requirement is fulfilled To evaluate our design algorithm, we consider two kinds of traffic: voice traffic as low speed service and still picture traffic as high speed service. Through numerical examples, we demonstrate that our design method can achieve an efficient use of network resources, which results in providing a cost-effective VP-based ATM network.

  • It is generally recognized that Video On Demand (VOD) service will become a promising interactive service in B-ISDN. We consider a hierarchical two level network architecture for VOD service. The first level consists of connected Local Video Servers(LVSs) in which a limited number of high vision programs are stored. The second level has one Central Video Server(CVS) containing all the programs served in the network. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the network traffic and to propose the storage policy for LVSs. For this purpose, we present an analysis of program storage amount in each LVS, transmission traffic volume between LVSs, and link traffic volume between CVS and LVSs, according to changing the related factors such as demand, the number of LVSs is also presented on the basis of the tradeoffs among program storage cost, link traffic cost, and transmission cost.

Traffic based Estimation of Optimal Number of Super-peers in Clustered P2P Environments

  • In a super-peer based P2P network, the network is clustered and each cluster is managed by a special peer, which is called a super-peer. A Super-peer has information of all the peers in its cluster. This type of clustered P2P model is known to have efficient information search and less traffic load than unclustered P2P model. In this paper, we compute the message traffic cost incurred by peers' query, join and update actions within a cluster as well as between the clusters. With these values, we estimate the optimal number of super-peers that minimizes the traffic cost for the various size of super-peer based P2P networks.

  • In this study, a simulation model is developed to analyze the effects of routing and scale-economy of transmission facilities on the traffic network topology and investment cost changes in a metropolitan telephone network. Computational experiments showed that the wide deployment of bifurcated routing in a dual-homing configuration reduces significantly the traffic network connectivity and the investment cost. Its enhanced version, when combined with the subscriber network cost model, can be used as a prototype cost proxy model for figuring out the access charges in a multi-operator environment.

이륜자동차 안전검사제도 도입 시 교통사고절감효과 분석 (Analysis of Traffic Accident Reduction Effect When Introducing Motorcycle Safety Inspection)

  • 본 연구는 이륜자동차의 안전검사제도가 도입될 경우 교통사고 절감효과에 관한 분석을 다루고 있다. 이를 위하여 우선, 독일 차량 및 운전자 연방국의 차령별 결함률을 이용하여 국내 차령별 이륜자동차 결함대수를 추정하고, 도로교통공단의 4년간 차량결함에 따른 사고건수 자료를 바탕으로 차량결함으로 인한 교통사고 확률을 산정한 뒤, 검사제도로 인한 차량결함 제거비율을 적용하여 검사제도 도입으로 인한 교통사고 감소건수 및 감소된 교통사고비용을 추정하였다. 배기량별 제도도입을 가정하여 시나리오를 구분하여 분석하였는데, 전체 이륜자동차를 대상으로 안전검사제도를 도입 할 경우 교통사고 642건/연 및 교통사고비용 325억 원/연이 감소되는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 2014년 국내교통사고비용 26조 5,725억 원/연의 약 0.1%에 해당되는 수준으로 이륜자동차 안전검사제도 도입 시 차량적 요인으로 인한 교통사고 및 교통사고비용이 감소되는 기대효과를 제시하였다.

교통혼잡비용 추정방법의 개선방안 연구 (Improving the Estimation Method of Traffic Congestion Costs)

  • 최근 들어 학계와 연구원 등에서 기존의 교통혼잡비용 산정 방식과 내용에 대한 수정 요구가 증대하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교통혼잡비용에 대해 살펴보고, 교통혼잡비용의 개선방안을 도출하였다. 개선방안으로 교통혼잡비용에 사회적 외부비용을 추정에 포함하는 방안, 온실효과비용, 환경오염 비용 등을 교통혼잡비용의 추정에 합산하는 방안, 교통혼잡비용의 산정방법에 비 반복정체의 문제, 혼잡판단 기준속도의 문제, 혼잡시간대의 추정 문제, 통행속도 문제 등에 대한 대안을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 교통혼잡비용 추정 개선 방안이 여러 가지 현실적용에 있어서의 어려움이 있는 한계를 가지고 있지만 지속가능한 발전이라는 시대의 흐름에 맞는 교통혼잡비용의 변화의 기초 자료로 제공하였다는 사실에 의의가 있다.

AHP분석을 통한 도로 교통안전지킴이 로봇 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Road Traffic Safety Moderator Robot using AHP)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to analyze the requirements of the road traffic safety moderator robot when road repairing. The road traffic safety moderator robot is road traffic safety equipment and to conversions mechanical engineering and IT when road repairing. METHODS : The study used AHP based on the survey from road repair related expert that field engineers, design engineers, public officials and professors. The survey used paired comparison. The survey items were safety, convenience and economics. The safety is classified as visibility or efficiency, the convenience is classified as utility or mobility and the economics is classified as initial investment cost or maintenance $ management cost. The survey alternatives were the road traffic safety moderator robot, traffic regulation by human, traffic regulation by mannequin and traffic signs. The software for AHP is Expert Choice 2000. RESULTS : The results of AHP analyze, the weighted value of safety was analyzed with the highest at 0.488 of survey items. The weighted value of convenience was analyzed at 0.295, the weighted value of economics was analyzed at 0.218. The results of the road traffic safety moderator robot, the weight value of efficiency and utility were analyzed with the highest at 0.284 and 0.259 of alternatives. The weighted value of initial investment cost and maintenance & management cost were analyzed with the lowest at 0.203 and 0.211 of alternatives. The consistency test results of each items, null hypothesis is rejected because the CR values were 0.000 respectively. Therefore, the study results are consistency. CONCLUSIONS : The result of this study, overall value of the road traffic safety moderator robot came off second-best of other alternatives. The road traffic safety moderator robot has been received highest praise by the result of the study as good road traffic safety equipment when road repairing because the weighted values of efficiency and utility were analyzed with the highest of survey items. The efficiency mean securing safety and the utility mean practical assistance when road repairing. The results of this study showed that the road traffic safety moderator robot will effective for traffic safety when road repairing. economics and visibility are that supplementation of the road traffic safety moderator robot because the weighted values of economics and visibility were analyzed with the lowest of survey items. The consistency test results are consistency because the CR values were 0.000 respectively.
