This study compares and analyzes the spatial distribution of people in two cities using location information in twitter data. The target cities were selected as Paris, a traditional tourist city, and Dubai, a tourist city that has recently attracted attention. The data was collected over 123 days in 2016 and 125 days in 2018. We compared the spatial distribution of two cities according to the two periods and residence status. In this study, we have found a hot place using a spatial statistical model called dart-shaped space division and estimated the urban area by reflecting the distribution of tweet population. And we visualized it as a CDF (cumulative distribution function) curve so that the distance between all the tweets' occurrence points and the city center point can be compared for different cities.
This study reviews application of data-driven anomaly detection techniques to the aviation domain. Recent advances in deep learning have inspired significant anomaly detection research, and numerous methods have been proposed. However, some of these advances have not yet been explored in aviation systems. After briefly introducing aviation safety issues, data-driven anomaly detection models are introduced. Along with traditional statistical and well-established machine learning models, the state-of-the-art deep learning models for anomaly detection are reviewed. In particular, the pros and cons of hybrid techniques that incorporate an existing model and a deep model are reviewed. The characteristics and applications of deep learning models are described, and the possibility of applying deep learning methods in the aviation field is discussed.

Engineering or humanities data are stored in databases and are often used for search services. While the latest deep-learning technologies, such like BART and BERT, are utilized for data analysis, humanities data still rely on traditional databases. Representative analysis methods include n-gram and lexical statistical extraction. However, when using a database, performance limitation is often imposed on the result calculations. This study presents an experimental process using MariaDB on a PC, which is easily accessible in a laboratory, to analyze the impact of the database on data analysis performance. The findings highlight the fact that the database becomes a bottleneck when analyzing large-scale text data, particularly over hundreds of thousands of records. To address this issue, a method was proposed to provide real-time humanities data analysis web services by leveraging the open source database, with a focus on the Seungjeongwon-Ilgy, one of the largest datasets in the humanities fields.
Architectural researches on the traditional houses of Korea have been studied mainly based on the data collected in the field survey. From explosively incresed real mesurements and drawings in the field, plenty of data have been collected. Those have been the basic data for verifing and developing the theories on the traditional house. But after Korean war the researchers in South-Korea were not able to approach to the field in North Korea, so the new data of North Korea were not added any more. The poverty of real data have caused regional unbalance in the researches. This paper aims at collecting new data of traditional house in North Korea. But still being prohibited for the researchers of South Korea to approach to the field, I had to depend on the memories and experiences of the immigrants from North Korea who are now living in Kyon-Nam and Pusan Province. Through the questionnaire and drawings, they described vivid memory of their old houses. I was able to collect the data of 71 cases, which are significant and valuable as much as those of the real field are. The data include the address and site condition, family structure, economic condition, construction period of each house, The drawings by themselves show the building forms and plans, the plans of each building, and the included spaces. Although the quantity of those data is not enough for statistical analysis, it shows general tendency for analizing regional charateristics, the differnces among economical classes, and the periodical change. It opens the way for verfying the existing theory. Analizing the data, I have some conclusions as followings: a. Most of researchers have classified the dominant housing type of Hamkyong-Do as 'the double fold' type. In this study, all cases of Hamkyongbuk-do also show 'the double fold plan with Chongju-kan'. But in Hamkyongnam-do some cases show 'the double fold plan without Chongju-kan, or projecting the stable into the yard, which seem to be different type from 'the double fold plan with Chongju-kan' b. Existing theories classified the dominant housing type of Pyongahn-do as 'two buildings with pararell arrangement'. This classification is verified with the plentiful cases in this study. Futhermore, I found new tendency, that is, getting higher econnomic condition, they construct annex buildings between the main buildings. Finally their houses show 'scattered ㅁ shape'. The houses included in this two types has narrow and closed inner yard, which is different from the houses of the same shape in the south region of Korea. c. Existing theories classified the dominant housing type of Hwanghae-do as 'ㅁ sape with Daechong' type. I found many cases of 'ㅁ shape', but only two cases show 'Daechong'. 'The doble fold' type was also founded. Unfortunately very few cases were sent from Hwanghae-do, it is not enough for finding general tendency.
This study was designed under the purpose to analyze the Korean Traditional Folk Remedies on food, to submit the basic statistical data, and to utilize them by examining how much they know about the Korean Traditional Folk Remedies and also by examining how frequently they used them. The sample was consisted of 312 housewives living in Daegu, Kyungsan city and Kyungsan-eup, the survey was made by use of questionaires from July 15 to August 1 1989. The results are as follows 1. Analysis of Folk Remedical Contents 1) The method of the Folk Remedies used in this area was mainly food, which can be easily found around their house and easy to use, it was possible to apply scientific principles in some cases. 2) The major popular method was shown to feed boiled barley or brown rice which are known as the Folk Remedy for Diabetes. 3) The ANOVA of variable shows the significant influence on each object which age, religion, the level of education, job, monthly income, and the area except family formation. 2. The Frequency of Folk Remedies and additional analysis 1) The most frequently used Folk Remedy was Arterio-sclerosis(1.44), which is followed by the loss of Eyesight(1.40), Hang over(1.28), Couth(1.27), Cold(1.26) etc. 2) In the analysis of Pearson Correlation between frequencies of Folk Remedies used, and demographic variables such as age(p<.05), the monthly income(p<.01), in that area, total number of response items showed a positive correlation. 3. The source to learn about Folk Remedy. 1) It is acknoledged that they are mostly instructed by their forefathers, friends, neighbors, professional textbooks, mass communications, herb doctors, other medical sources or education at school etc. 2) The ANOVA of Variables shows the big differences between each group by age. Based on the above findings, the following suggestions are made ; Most of Korean Traditional Folk Remedies are recognized scientific and reasonable which are based on the scientific research and herb medicine therefore it should be made good use of for our life in good health additionally. I hereby insist that the importance of our Folk Remedies should be reviewed and focused for maintenance our health.
This study is intended to analyze how emotional reaction based on consumption experience of dining at Korean traditional restaurants affects comsumer's repurchase intention. These restaurants are chosen from lists of high quality Korean traditional restaurants designated by the Restaurant Association in Busan. And then a model for the study is designed based on preceding studies and hypotheses are extracted. A statistical package program, SPSS WIN Version 18.0 is used for frequency analysis, reliability analysis and factorial analysis and regression analysis to verify the hypotheses. As the result of verifying how experience of dining at a Korean traditional restaurant affected arousal among emotional reactions, the symbolism factor and the variety factor were all proved to be meaningful, whereas the amusement factor was proved to be meaningless. As the result of verifying how experience of dining at the restaurant affected dominance among emotional reactions, the symbolism, amusement, and variety factors were all proved to be meaningful. As the result of verifying how emotional reactions affected consumer's repurchasing, the arousal and dominance factors were all proved to be meaningful. Moreover, as the result of verifying how experience of dining at the restaurant affected consumer's repurchasing, the variety and amusement factors were all proved to be meaningful, whereas the symbolism factor was proved to be meaningless.
Sensors, equipment, ICT facilities and their corresponding software have a relatively short lifetime relative to that of constructional structure, so these devices have to be continuously fixed or exchanged during maintenance and management. Furthermore, software or analysis tools should be periodically upgraded according to advances in ICT and analysis technology. Conventional monitoring systems have serious problems in that it is difficult for site engineers to modify or upgrade hardware and analysis algorithms. Moreover, we depend on the original system developer when we want to modify or upgrade inner program structures. In this paper, we propose a novel design for integrated maintenance and management of a monitoring system by applying the mobile cloud concept. The system is intended for use in disaster prevention of constructional structures, including bridges, tunnels, and in traditional buildings in a local heritage village, we analyze the status of these structures over a long term or a short-term period as well as in disaster situations. Data are collected over a mobile cloud and future expectations are analyzed according to probabilistic and statistical techniques. We implement our integrated monitoring system to solve the existing problems mentioned above. The final goal of this study is to design and implement a monitoring system for more than 10,000 structures spread within Korea. Furthermore, we can specifically apply the monitoring system presented here to a bridge made from timber in Asan Oeam Village and a traditional house in Andong Hahoe Village to monitor for possible disasters. The entire system design and implementation can be developed on the LinkSaaS platform and the monitoring services can also be implemented on the platform. We prove that the proposed system has good performance by performing a TTA authentication test, web accommodation test, and operation test using emulated data.
For the life quality improvement of rural elderly family placed in risk of frail, this study was investigated. Health habit, food habit, and dietary management were analyzed between elderly and middle aged family The subjects 1870 collected in 9 provinces 88 cities or guns by sampling with probability proportional to size(PPS). Questionnaire method was used. Survey was conducted by trained interviewers. Statistical analyses were performed using SAS(version 8.1). Chi-square tests and General Linear Models were used. The elderly families' characters were odd pair$(42.0\%)$, with patients$(17.6\%)$ and health examination per 1 or 2 years$(44.0\%)$. The elderly families' health habit: high of no-drink$(55.2\%)$ and low of smoke$(31.3\%)$ situation was better than those of middle aged families'. The states of diets of elderly family: having breakfast$(94.1\%)$ but 1-2 kinds$(17.7\%)$ or 3-4 kinds$(59.4\%)$ of side dishes allowed to guess lower status of food intake balance. Nutritional supplements$(27.5\%)$with tablets of vitamins$(63.5\%)$ were the most frequent states in elderly family. The aspects of dietary habit of elderly family: no instant foods$(72.6\%)$, no snack$(3.08\%)$ and no dine-out$(67.7\%)$ were significantly different with those of middle aged family. Dietary habit score(8.28/12 points) of elderly family was not significantly different with 8.22/12 points of middle aged family. Food purchase place of elderly family was mainly at traditional market$(43.6\%)$, but it was significantly different with super-market$(47.6\%)$ of middle aged family. In elderly family, traditional dish preparation was seldom$(49.8\%)$ except winter kimchi$(91.5\%)$, but significantly higher rate of in middle aged families' traditional dish preparation and winter kimchi$(94.5\%)$. From these results, more of snack, traditional dishes and dine-out were needed to improve quality of life for rural elderly.

The purposes of this study were (1) to analyze price sensitivity, (2) to define the range of acceptable prices for each foreign segment, and (3) to provide a price model for Korean traditional restaurants. From October to November, 2006, a total of 781 foreigners responded to individual surveys. Statistical analyses on the survey data were performed using descriptive statistics and Price Sensitivity Measurement (PSM). Major findings from the study are as follows: First, the ranges of the acceptable prices were $98$\sim$$130 for fine dining/gourmet restaurants, $70$\sim$$90 for theme/ambience restaurants, $40$\sim$$60 for popular/family restaurants, and $18$\sim$$30 for convenience/fast food restaurants. Second, the convenience/fast food restaurants showed the highest price sensitivity. Third, a low stress level and wide range of the acceptable price were observed for the fine dining/gourmet restaurants, suggesting that the price sensitivity of the fine dining/gourmet restaurants was quite low. Finally, the price sensitivity indicated by the Japanese was higher than by the other groups. In consequence, the research findings suggest that the managers of the Korean traditional restaurants should strategically plan prices by understanding different customers' price sensitivity within and between customer segments. Through additional research, marketers can compare perceptions of specific brands, the competition, and variations within a product line.
