글로벌 콘텐츠가 재현하는 AI 윤리와 인간 정체성의 과제: 넷플릭스 다큐 <소셜딜레마>의 서사 분석을 중심으로 (The Challenges of AI Ethics and Human Identity Reproduced by Global Content: Focusing on Narrative Analysis of Netflix Documentary )

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 콘텐츠에 나타난 AI 윤리의 문제적 상황을 진단하고, 인간의 정체성을 강화하기 위한 담론이 무엇인지를 파악하고자 했다. 연구 진행을 위해 넷플릭스(Netflix) 오리지널 콘텐츠 <소셜딜레마>(The Social Dilemma)를 분석대상으로 선정했다. 연구방법은 서사분석을 채택했다. 분석결과 <소셜딜레마>는 전통적인 시사 다큐멘터리 구조를 보였으며, 이야기 전개를 위해 주로 전문가와 통계자료를 활용한 것으로 확인되었다. 미얀마 학살 사건, 가짜뉴스 전파 등 국내외 사례를 열거하며 콘텐츠 핵심 주장을 강화하기도 했다. 인물의 관계에서는 개발자와 미디어 기업, 이용자와 광고주 사이의 이항대립이 명확하게 드러났다. 해결책으로는 기업에 대한 강력한 규제와 소셜미디어의 이용 중단을 주장했다. 하지만, <소셜딜레마>는 AI 기술의 오남용을 지적하는 수준에 머무르며, 인간 고유의 정체성과 사회적 관계를 외면하는 서사를 구성했다. 이러한 결과는 AI 시대를 맞아 인간의 사회성과 관계성, 학습 능력의 중요성을 강조하는 콘텐츠의 필요성을 제기한다.

  • 본고에서는 디지털 정보사회에서 지적재산권을 주장할 수 있는 정당한 근거가 무엇인가를 정보윤리의 시각에서 검토하고, 제한적으로나마 정당화된 재산권을 보호하기 위한 수단으로서 고려될 수 있는 법적, 기술적, 윤리적 통제가 갖는 각각의 한계점과 가능성을 살펴보았다. 전통적인 로크의 재산권이론과 헤겔의 인격화 이론이 디지털 정보사회의 지적재산권을 정당화하기에는 부족함을 주장하였다. 또한 지적재산권에 대한 주장이 산물 중심의 재산권에서 과정 중심의 통제권으로, 저자 중심의 시각에서 저자-수용자간의 조화로운 관계를 강조하는 방향으로 변화함을 지적하였다. 그리고 지적재산권을 보호하기 위해서는 그것을 보호하는 취지와 동기를 고려한 윤리적 통제를 중심으로 삼고, 법적, 기술적 통제를 보조적 수단으로 병행해야 함을 강조하였다.

End of Life Issues in Cancer Cases: Ethical Aspects

  • This article investigates ethical challenges cancer patients face in the end stages of life including doctors' responsibilities, patients' rights, unexpected desires of patients and their relatives, futile treatments, and communication with patients in end stages of life. These patients are taken care of through palliative rather than curative measures. In many cases, patients in the last days of life ask their physician to terminate their illness via euthanasia which has many ethical considerations. Proponents of such mercy killing (euthanasia) believe that if the patient desires, the physician must end the life, while opponents of this issue, consider it as an act of murder incompatible with the spirit of medical sciences. The related arguments presented in this paper and other ethical issues these patients face and possible solutions for dealing with them have been proposed. It should be mentioned that this paper is more human rational and empirical and the views of the legislator are not included, though in many cases human intellectual and empirical comments are compatible with those of the legislator.

과학 연구 윤리 가치관 변화를 위한 초등 과학교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Elementary Science Education Programs for Changing Students' Scientific Research Ethical Views)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop science education programs for changing students' science research ethical views, and to investigate the types and features of their views, and to examine their changes overtime. The subject of this study was one 6th grade class(41 students) at an elementary school located in Seoul. The scientific research ethical education programs developed in the study was applied through 8 lessons over 4 weeks. The results of this study show that 3 types of science research ethical views were appeared in elementary students participated in this study: 'human technology centered views', 'value ecology centered views' and the mixed views. The numbers of students, who changed their views from type I or type II to type III, were significantly increased. Students with type III appeared to actively involve in classroom activities aligned with science research ethical issues. The results imply that intended science ethical education program can affect students' ethical views on science. It is also important to aware that teacher's effective assistance and help contribute to students' meaningful changes on their traditional scientific ethical views. Educational implications on science education are discussed.

말 태반 가수분해 추출물의 Sprague-Dawley Rat를 이용한 단회 경구투여 독성시험 (Study on a Single Oral Dose Toxicity Test of Horse Placenta Hydrolysate Extract in Sprague-Dawley Rats)

  • Objectives : The objective of this study is to analyze the single-dose toxicity of horse placenta hydrolysate extracts. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were chosen for the study. Doses of horse placenta hydrolysate extracts, 2,000 mg/kg, 1,000 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg, were administered to the experimental group, and the same doses of normal saline solution were administered to the control group. This study was conducted under the approval of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee. Results : In all 4 groups, no deaths occurred, and the horse placenta hydrolysate extracts administered by oral was over 2,000 mg/kg. No significant changes in the weight between the control group and the experimental group were observed. To check for abnormalities in organs and tissues, we used microscopy to examine representative histological sections of each specified organ, the results showed no significant differences in any organs or tissues. Conclusions : The above findings suggest that treatment with horse placenta hydrolysate extracts is relatively safe. Further studies on this subject should be conducted to yield more concrete evidence.

  • Recently, social problem of teens becomes one of the important social issues. Adolescence is the intermediate stages of childhood and adulthood. Teens have not find their identity at this time. That reason is why teens and the old generation are disconnect. That arise from the development of industry and the nuclear family, entrance examination-oriented education system. So they are wandering in the popular culture and the cyber-space. Therefore, families, schools and state should have interesting and understanding for teens, and should strive that teens establish a self established identity. Specially, ethics education using traditional culture will help to establish their identity, and that provide self-esteem and pride about korean traditional culture. This is the reason why culture contents that is based on Korean traditional culture have to make for teens. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data that will help in the development Korean traditional cultural contents for teens. In this study, this researchers will search the following matters; first, what is ritual for Coming-of-age, second, various forms of ritual for Coming-of-age and Korean modern ritual in order to grasp the meaning of the ritual for Coming-of-age, third, costume and meaning of costume which has in both Kwan-Ryea as Korean traditional ritual for Coming-of-age and Korean modern ritual. This study will compare Kwan-Ryea with traditional ritual of modern.

  • Modern Chinese Literature, the so-called 'feminist' is a very modern and the traditional criticism and took an important position in the double action. Because a woman's freedom from the bondage of traditional ethics of restoring the social status equal to men but to women does not give, that compared to men and women just the dimension of the problem of isolation is not just. It is dominated by yugajeok worldview by streamlining the whole Chinese society to build a modern society and the country was a critical task. However, multi-cultural life of Lin, Hui-yin and Ling, Shu-hua in the history of the world's attention to the shrine was worried attention to soils, rather than East-West dualism law by taking a mixture of both women in modern Chinese literature and Western literature from the center of efforts to overcome the traditional point hayeotdaneun feminist literature that may be different. She naesewotdeon the banner of feminist literature in the traditional 'anti feudal', 'free personality' silcheondoen under such slogans as well as women's liberation from traditional, male-oriented perspective away from the women's unique experiences and new understanding of the value of the superiority the concept of a woman, and was to create. In particular, the femininity of these women who traditionally associated with women and the unique culture - the creation of a new consciousness, a re-evaluation of traditional feminine skills and talents was to try to.

유가(儒家) 자연법사상의 헌법상 전승 (A Study on the Confucian Natural Legal Ideology Embodied in the Korean Constitution)

  • 이 논문은 유가(儒家)의 자연법사상(自然法思想)이 대한민국의 최고 기본법이자 최고 규범인 헌법(憲法)에 어떠한 내용과 의미로 전승되어 오고있으며, 이러한 유가사상이 오늘날에 있어 어떠한 과제를 우리에게 제시하고 있는 것인지를 살펴보기 위한 글이다. 유가사상 특히 민본(民本), 예치(禮治), 덕치(德治) 및 친친주의(親親主義)로 대표되는 선진유가의 자연법사상이 오늘날에 있어서는 그 영향력이 현저히 감소하였으나, 여전히 우리 민족의 의식 속에 하나의 윤리규범 내지 미풍양속으로서의 위치를 차지하고 있으며, 대한민국 현행 법령에 있어서도 다양한 형태로 전승되어 오고 있어, 실제 규범으로서의 법집행력도 일정 부분 가지고 있다. 즉 대한민국의 최고 기본법인 헌법을 위시하여 민법을 비롯한 민사법령 그리고 형법을 비롯한 형사법령에 유가 법사상을 반영한 입법 규정들이 산재해 있으며, 법원 및 헌법재판소의 판례나 결정 등을 통해 유가사상이 재해석되어 전승되어 오고 있는 것이다. 유가의 법사상은 헌법 명문규정으로는 헌법 전문(前文)과 본문(本文) 제9조 등에 규정된 '전통(傳統)', '전통문화(傳統文化)'의 내포개념으로 전승되어 오는 한편, 헌법재판소의 위헌법률제청사건 및 위헌소원사건 등에 대한 결정을 통하여 재해석되어 전승되고 있다. 헌법재판소의 재해석을 통한 전승은 크게 두 가지로 나누어 볼 수 있는데, 하나는 유가의 사상 내지 윤리와 관련된 결정이며, 다른 하나는 전통문화와 관련된 결정이다. 지난 20여 년 간 헌법재판소의 판례 및 결정문을 면밀히 분석하여 검토하는 작업을 통해, 헌법재판소는 우리 사회가 유교적 전통을 받아들이고 체화(體化)시켜 일정 부분 우리의 고유한 의식으로 남아 있음을 인정하는 일관된 입장을 유지하고 있으며, 특히 가정의 영역에서는 법률보다 전통적 윤리의 역할을 더 강조하는 입장을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 유가사상 내지 도덕관념에 터 잡은 전통문화가 어떠한 기준 하에서 우리의 고유한 전통의식 내지 도덕규범으로서 헌법적 정당성(正當性)을 갖는지 여부에 대한 중요한 기준 내지 척도를 도출해 낼 수 있었다. 헌법재판소는 헌법상 전통문화 내지 윤리로서 정당성을 인정받기 위해서는 단순히 전통문화라는 역사적 사실과 이를 계승하는 것만으로는 부족하며, 이 시대의 사회 경제적 기반에 맞아야 한다는 '시대적합성(時代適合性)'과 오늘날에 있어서도 보편타당한 전통윤리 내지는 도덕관념이어야 한다는 '현재적 보편타당성(現在的 普遍妥當性)'을 양대 기준으로 천명하고 있다. 또한 이러한 '시대적합성'과 '현재적 보편타당성'은 '오늘날의 의미로 재해석되어 포착된 것'이어야 하며, 이를 위한 가장 중요한 척도로서 '헌법이념(憲法理念)과 헌법의 가치질서(價値秩序)' 및 '인류(人類)의 보편가치(普遍價値), 정의(正義)와 인도정신(人道精神)'을 들고 있다. 여기서 우리는 헌법상 정당성을 가지는 전통문화의 주요한 축으로서의 유가사상 내지 유가 자연법사상의 '시대적합성'과 '현재적 보편타당성'을 확보하고 '헌법이념과 헌법의 가치질서' 및 '인류의 보편가치, 정의와 인도정신'이라는 척도를 가지고 유가 사상을 '오늘날의 의미로 재해석하여 포착'하여야 한다는 새로운 과제와 임무를 부여받게 된다. 이는 현재 세계적으로 활발히 논의되고 있는 "새로운 보편윤리(the Universal Ethics)의 모색" 이라는 지성사적 작업과도 연결하여 논의를 진행해볼 수 있다는 점에서 오늘날 우리에게 매우 중요한 시사를 하고 있다. 또한 현재 정치권 등에서 활발히 거론되고 있는 헌법 개정 문제와 관련하여 유가 자연법사상 중 보편적 윤리 내지 가치를 발굴하여 이를 헌법개정안에 반영시켜 나갈 것인지 여부에 대하여도 진지하고도 폭넓은 관심과 연구가 시급히 전개되어야 할 것이라고 생각한다.

도시 기혼남녀의 전통적 효 규범의식과 친척유대간의 관계에 관한 연구 (The Relationship between Urban Married's Nonnative Sense of the Traditional Filial Piety and their Affiliation with Relatives)

  • The purpose of this study was to discuss the relationship between Korean people's normative sense of the traditional filial piety and their affiliation with relatives. For this purpose, the researcher reviewed ethics books during the Chosun dynasty such as Naehoon Women's Ethics), Dongmongsonsup (Children's Cardinal Moral Principles) ,Kyokmongyokyol (Juvenile's Learning) and Gyuenyoso (Instructions for Daughters of Marriageable Age), Based on this review a questionnaire was designed. For the survey,566 returned questionnaires from married people between their 20's and 70's living in Seoul and Wonju Si were sampled The collected data were analyzed using the SAS program for means and SDs of each area in order to examine the overall tendency, and were subject to one-way ANOVA to determine the relationship between their normative sense of the traditional filial piety and their affiliations with relatives depending on their demographic variables, In addition to this correlation analysis, the data underwent regression analysis to determine the significant factors affecting the subjects' sense of filial piety and their affiliation with relatives. The results of this study can be summarized as follows ; First, the subjects were found to have a normal or higher sense of filial piety in overall terms, which suggests that the Korean morality of filial piety may be positive. In particular, the subjects' sense of filial piety was higher for living parents than for dead ones. Namely, they wanted to give more respect, honor and support to their parents than give a cordial funeral or memorial service to deceased parents. Second, older Koreans were more aware of filial piety, and men were more conscious of filial piety than women. Buddhists or atheists tended to be more faithful to their parents. Generally, those with lower academic background and living with larger families had a higher normative sense of filial piety. On the other hand, those in their 60's and 70's were most affiliated with their relatives, while youth and middle-aged people were less affiliated with their relatives. Men were more affiliated with their relatives than women, and first sons or daughters were more affiliated with their relatives. Besides, those living with larger families were more affiliated with their relatives. Third, the subjects' normative sense of filial piety, particularly for deceased parents, was highly correlated with their affiliation with relatives, and such a normative sense of filial piety was most conspicuous in their funeral rites.

  • China, the nation which reigns the society consisted of several ethnic groups, has been interested in universal virtues since its early eras, due to the social demand for their integration. Confucianism, therefore, traditionally has been executing this function as a transcendant world, and at present the Marxism takes its role instead. After its reformation and opening, the market economy was allowed to set in China, which means that the traditional ideology of integration comes to face the crisis occurred by new trend of the individualism which is gradually spreading. The people who make the policies and the intellectual people in China who noticed these phenomena, are trying to make measures to cope with this contradiction. Despite of their trials, they are destined to find nothing but powerlessness in front of the powerful marketing strategy of the commercialism which adroitly adapted to their measures. In this situation, the transcendant world to reach, which these people are appealing again is the totalitarian ideology that persistently has been maintained through history of China. The movie, Hero, is the one of these attempts. This paper offers you the analysis of this cultural agony of contemporary China.
