This paper presents computer graphics applying the traditional Korean house(Hanok) style interior to unit-care space of Welfare Facility and proposes the possibility as interior design and construction materials. In this paper, the proposed computer graphic-based model is a single-story building that provides convenient traffic between rooms. Computer graphic-based model is presented by Auto CAD, 3D program (Sketch-UP v.8), rendering program (Podium v.2) based on the traditional Korean house and related work of unit-care welfare facility. Computer graphic-based model that combined unit-care and the traditional Korean house has the following characteristics. In each room of living space, wallpaper and flooring Korean paper(Hnaji) is considered and windows, door, furniture of traditional pattern were placed. The living room(Daechung) that is representative of the traditional Korean house and the corridor (toenmaru) are the elements to save the image of the traditional Korean house as much as possible. Especially, the corridor (toenmaru) is placed to conveniently use in nursing-care facility and home-care support facility. A public space is placed around the inside court (An-madang), while the living space (unit-care) has a sense of independence by separation. Bathroom and kitchen have a modern design for functionality than aesthetic elements.

Preventing incidents occurred in construction process is important for safe implementation of construction projects. Due to the complexity and magnitude of the project and moreover, poor safe planning and management, construction incidents in Korea have been increasing. Reducing construction incidents effectively, appropriate safety management program in consideration of the incident rate of each facility is to be adapted. This study analyzes incident frequency and severity rate of each facility based on the data of construction sites(about 1,560 thousand cases) recorded by Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency for 3 years from 2007 to 2009, and the incident related data (about 40 thousand cases) of Korea Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service. The results of this study revealed that construction incident rates of 'cold refrigeration storage facilities' are the highest among building types, followed by traditional building religious building, arcade department store and shopping center. In case of other facilities, the incident rate and the rate of intensity of 'pipelining project' are the highest, followed by 'tunneling project'. These results would be used in providing safety programs beneficial for preventing construction incidents.

The purpose of this study is to identify ways of remodeling from the traditional hanok to the modern local governmental facility in 1910s. Analysing architectural drawings in the National Archives of Korea, 58 hanok remodeling cases of 52 facilities were verified like the provincial office, county office, county court from 1907 to 1910s. Using hanok as the local governmental building, exterior walls were all changed to the scaled-wooden wall like one of western-wooden building in 1910s and the western-style entrance was set. Change of the plan caused by remodeling interior walls had an intention of the centralized closed plan. Remodeled semi-outer corridor using the space of the eave became changed to the inner corridor with expansion of space. Expansion of hanok for spatial demand was in three ways. First was the expansion towards the eave space, second was direct extension from hanok, and last was the use of external corridor to the new building. Using the eave space was simple but had limitation of space, it was planed with other expansion ways. The way of direct extension was usually used than the one with the corridor, because it was more economical way.

The existing data transmission technology applied between the non-secure external internet and the secure internal business network has various problems when applied to the building facility management SCADA system control network. Traditional inter-network data transfer technologies involve high complexity and high costs because blacklist-based security techniques are applied to all data. However, whitelist-based security techniques can be applied to data distributed in Building Facility Management SCADA control systems because a small number of structured control data are repeatable and periodic. This simplifies the security technology applied to inter-network data transmission, enabling building facility management SCADA system control network deployment at low cost. In this paper, we proposed building control networks specialized in building facility management SCADA control systems by providing solutions to address and address these problems.
