싸움소를 위한 RFID 기반 정보 관리시스템의 구현 (Implementation of RFID-based Information Management System for Bullfights)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선주파수 신호를 이용하여 자동으로 식별하는 전자태그를 포함하는 RFID 기술 기반 싸움소 정보 관리시스템을 구현하였다. 제안된 시스템은 싸움소의 효율적인 관리를 위한 이력정보 시스템과 훈련정보 시스템, 그리고 소 소유자나 관리자를 위한 인터넷 기반 실시간 정보제공을 위한 시스템으로 구성하였다. 구현을 위해서 먼저 RFID에 기반을 둔싸움소의 사육과 전적의 이력 및 훈련 정보들을 분석 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 필드의 싸움소에 대한 정보를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 RFID 미들웨어 시스템, 관련정보를 통합 관리 및 제공할 수 있는 웹기반 관리시스템을 설계 구현하였다. 이력 관리시스템에서는 하나의 전자태그씩 순차적으로 인식되도록 하였으며, 훈련정보 관리시스템에서는 다수개의 전자태그들을 동시에 인식되도록 하였다.

  • Miniaturization of computing devices, and advances in wireless communication and positioning systems will create a wide and increasing range of database applications such as location-based services, tracking and transportation systems that has to deal with Moving Objects. Various types of queries could be posted to moving objects, including past, present and future queries. The key problem is how to model the location of moving objects and enable Database Management System (DBMS) to predict the future location of a moving object. It is obvious that there is a need for an innovative, generic, conceptually clean and application-independent approach for spatio-temporal handling data. This paper presents behavioral aspect of the spatio-temporal databases for managing and querying moving objects. Our objective is to impelement and extend the Spatial TAU (STAU) system developed by Dr.Pelekis that provides spatio-temporal functionality to an Object-Relational Database Management System to support modeling and querying moving objecs. The results of the impelementation are demonstrated in this paper.

웹마이닝과 상품계층도를 이용한 협업필터링 기반 개인별 상품추천시스템

  • Recommender systems are a personalized information filtering technology to help customers find the products they would like to purchase. Collaborative filtering is known to be the most successful recommendation technology, but its widespread use has exposed some problems such as sparsity and scalability in the e-business environment. In this paper, we propose a recommendation methodology based on Web usage mining and product taxonomy to enhance the recommendation quality and the system performance of original CF-based recommender systems. Web usage mining populates the rating database by tracking customers' shopping behaviors on the Web, so leading to better quality recommendations. The product taxonomy is used to improve the performance of searching for nearest neighbors through dimensionality reduction of the rating database. Several experiments on real e-commerce data show that the proposed methodology provides higher quality recommendations and better performance than original collaborative filtering methodology.

  • This paper outlines opportunities and challenges in the implementation of BPEL based WFMS(WorkFlow Management System) for the MES(Manufacturing Execution Systems) in semiconductor manufacturing. At present, the most MESs in semiconductor wafer fabrication shop have the problems in terms of application software integration, reactivity, and adaptability. When a plant has to produce new product mix, remodel the manufacturing execution process, or replace obsolete equipments, the principal road blocks for responding to new manufacturing environment are the difficulties in porting existing application software to new configurations. In this paper, the issues about WFMS technologies including BPEL standard applied for MES are presented. And then, we introduce the integrated development framework named nanoFlow which is optimized for developing the BPEL based WFMS application for automated manufacturing system. And we describe a WFMS implemented with using nanoFlow framework, review and evaluate the system.

  • Concept about health is rapidly changed into 21C. thinking logic of customer about food is changed from just food to safety food by disposition of consumption about foodsafety. But government, manufacturer, distribution trader and seller which have different recognitions about foodsafety lose trust of customer. Because they did't focus on thinking changed of customer about foodsafety. Our thinking about rapidly changed food safety being intergrated with IT technology is helping to expand and supply into market. In this article, We'll study Traceability System about cattle and pig related to food. this system was developed in livestock market. In this study, we problems from these systems after studying present construction positions of these systems and purpose of this study is investigation of actual use condition. Also purpose of this study abstracts problems which will be developed and researched.

  • A control system for solar thermal power plant is the control system to coordinate the whole system's operation, including management of distributed control systems, process control for optimal operation of total system, monitoring system operating conditions and doing administrative functions. This work, as a progress report, presents the results obtained so far in building a control system for the 1MW solar thermal power plant. To make the control system, we first defined the control system's hierarchy and classified the role of each layer. Then, as the first stage of making control system, we designed and developed the sun tracking control system for heliostat.

  • An ongoing research project is devoted to the design and implementation of a satellite based asset tracking for supporting emergency management in crisis operations. Due to the emergency environment, one has to rely on a low power consumption wireless communication. Therefore, the communication hardware and software must be designed to match requirements, which can only be foreseen at the level of more or less likely scenarios. The latter aspect suggests a deep use of a simulator (instead of a real network of sensors) to cover extreme situations. The former power consumption remark suggests the use of a minimal computer (Raspberry Pi) as data collector.

  • Recently, automobile industry expands from mechatronics area through intelligent information area, and the telematics technology is one of the greatest developing points. The telematics is utilizing the on-board-unit of vehicle's communication system, and it provides necessary information and value-added service to vehicles as well as drivers. Most of the telematics offers the solution of searching a route or generates an optimal path. This paper investigates telematics with the logistics point of view, such as freight location tracking, vehicle emergency information, etc. The telematics is a core technology of automobile industry, and it becomes new business paradigm of IP(information provider). Especially, ETA(estimated arrival time) of freight and distribution tracing information are critical issues in the logistics industry. The successful integration with telematics is introduced in the paper.

인간 행동 분석을 이용한 위험 상황 인식 시스템 구현 (A Dangerous Situation Recognition System Using Human Behavior Analysis)

  • Recently, deep learning-based image recognition systems have been adopted to various surveillance environments, but most of them are still picture-type object recognition methods, which are insufficient for the long term temporal analysis and high-dimensional situation management. Therefore, we propose a method recognizing the specific dangerous situation generated by human in real-time, and utilizing deep learning-based object analysis techniques. The proposed method uses deep learning-based object detection and tracking algorithms in order to recognize the situations such as 'trespassing', 'loitering', and so on. In addition, human's joint pose data are extracted and analyzed for the emergent awareness function such as 'falling down' to notify not only in the security but also in the emergency environmental utilizations.

다중 제어면 고장에 대한 제어면 재분배 고장 대처 기법 (Fault-Tolerant Networked Control Systems Using Control Allocation for Failures in Multiple Control Surfaces)

  • In this paper, the methodology of a CA (Control Allocation) based FTNCS (Fault-Tolerant Networked Control System) is proposed. Control allocation is a control surface management technique by redistributing the redundant control surfaces in overactuated systems. In modern high performance aircrafts, they adopt many redundant control surfaces to provide high performance and to satisfy various tactical requirements. Moreover, redundant control surfaces provide an opportunity to compensate performance degradation due to failures in more than one actuator by re-allocating redundant control surfaces. Simulation results with an F-18 HARV demonstrate that the proposed CA based FTNCS can achieve a fast and accurate tracking performance even in the presence of actuator faults.
