Y-system으로 관찰한 Bell's palsy에 미치는 수기요법의 영향에 관한 임상적 연구 (The Clinical study of Su-Gi therapy's Effects on Bell's palsy by observing of Y-system)

  • Objects : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Su-Gi therapy for Bell's palsy by using Y-system(Yanagihara's unweighted grading system). Methods : We investigated 25 patients with Bell's palsy who had visited in the M, H Korean medicine hospital in Gyeonggi Province from December 27th, 2010 to April 8th, 2015. The Su-Gi therapy was done by 1 times daily. And each patients had been treated more than 25 days. We evaluated the change of them by using Y-system. Results : 1. We investigated 25 patients with Bell's palsy. 80% of the patients were females(20 patients), 20% of the patients were male(5 patients). The average age of patients was 47±15.15. The average period of Adm. treatment was 64% of the patients(16 patients) have left facial palsy, 36% of the patients(9 patients) have right facial palsy. 2. The mean Y-system score before treatment was 17.80±6.2, and the mean score after 25th days treatment was 33.68±4.0. Changes in the mean Y-system Score for each case according to the treatment days was increased significantly. 3. The mean Y-system score after 4th days treatment had increased by an 1.24±2.7 as compared to before treatment, the score after 10th days treatment was 8.7±4.7, the score after 14th days treatment was 11.84±5.8, the score after 20th days treatment is 14.72±6.7, and the score after 25th days treatment was 15.88±6.9. Every score was significantly increased. Conclusions: 1. Su-Gi therapy can be defined that is mainly using the hands to touch or movement of the human body skin, meridians and acupuncture points, muscles, joints and so on. And that is the treatment to communicate and harmonize to the meridians and acupuncture points, and to prevent of diseases, and to keep health. 2. All names of An-Gyo, An-Ma, Jum-Hyul, Chu-Na, massage, and so on should be referred to as Su-Gi therapy. And that individual names are to be classified and separated as the type or method of Su-Gi therapy. 3. The results of the treatment of Hwidam's Su-Gi therapy for Bell's palsy by using Y-system were significant.

STEAM 활동이 초등학생의 과학탐구능력 및 과학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the STEAM Activities on the Elementary Student's Science Process Skills and Science-Related Attitudes)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라의 학생들이 과학을 어려워하고, 과학에 흥미가 없으며, PISA 평가에서도 과학적 소양이 하락하고 있는 현실을 개선하고자 과학교과를 중심으로 한 STEAM 활동이 초등학생들의 과학탐구능력 및 과학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도 소재 초등학교 6학년 실험집단 31명(남자 15, 여자 16), 비교집단 31명(남자 17, 여자 14)의 두 집단을 선정하고, 창의적 설계, 감성적 체험, 내용 통합을 고려하여 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한, 사전-사후 실험설계를 통하여 과학탐구능력(TSPS 검사지)과 과학에 대한 태도(과학과 관련된 정의적 영역 평가지)를 검사하였다. 과학탐구능력의 경우 사전검사에서 실험집단이 16.77, 비교집단이 17.81로 비교집단의 평균 점수가 높았으나, 사후검사에서 실험집단이 20.48, 비교집단이 18.00으로 실험집단의 점수가 더 높았으며, 유의미한 수준에서 실험집단의 과학탐구능력이 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다(p<.05). 과학에 대한 태도의 경우 사전검사에서 실험집단이 3.13, 비교집단이 3.43 이었으나, 사후검사에서 실험집단이 3.50, 비교집단이 3.33으로 실험집단의 점수가 더 높았으며, 유의미한 수준에서 실험집단의 과학에 대한 태도가 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다(p<.001). 또한, STEAM 활동에 대한 학생들의 인식 조사를 통하여 STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단의 학생들이 STEAM을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있다는 설문 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 결론적으로, STEAM 활동이 초등학교 학생들의 과학탐구능력 향상 및 과학에 대한 태도 개선에 효과가 있고, 학생들은 STEAM 활동을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있다고 할 수 있다.

롤투롤시스템을 이용하여 PET 필름위에 제조된 SiO2-ITO 박막의 색도(b*), 면저항과 투과도 연구 (Chromaticity(b*), Sheet Resistance and Transmittance of SiO2-ITO Thin Films Deposited on PET Film by Using Roll-to-Roll Sputter System)

  • This paper has relatively high technical standard and experimental skill. The fabrication of TCO film with high transparency, low resistance and low chromaticity require exact control of several competing factors. This paper has resolved these problems reasonably well, thus recommended for publication. Indium tin oxide(ITO) thin films were by D.C. magnetron roll-to-roll sputter system utilizing ITO and $SiO_2$ targets of ITO and $SiO_2$. In this experiment, the effect of D.C. power, winding speed, and oxygen flow rate on electrical and optical properties of ITO thin films were investigated from the view point of sheet resistance, transmittance, and chromaticity($b^*$). The deposition of $SiO_2$ was performed with RF power of 400W, Ar gas of 50 sccm and the deposition of ITO, DC power of 600W, Ar gas of 50 sccm, $O^2$ gas of 0.2 sccm, and winding speed of 0.56m/min. High quality ITO thin films without $SiO_2$ layer had chromaticity of 2.87, sheet resistivity of 400 ohm/square, and transmittance of 88% and $SiO_2$-doped ITO Thin film with chromaticity of 2.01, sheet resistivity of 709 ohm/square, and transmittance of more than 90% were obtained. As a result, $SiO_2$ was coated on PET before deposition of ITO, their chromaticity($b^*$) and transmittance were better than previous results of ITO films. These results show that coating of $SiO_2$ induced arising chromaticity($b^*$) and transmittance. If the thickness of $SiO_2$ is controlled, sheet resistance value of ITO film will be expected to be better for touch screen. A four point probe and spectrophotometer are used to investigate the properties of ITO thin films.

정상인 힘 추적 능력 분석 (Analysis on Force Tracking Capabilities of Healthy Adults)

  • A reduction of motor performance due to brain disorders can be screened by evaluating force tracking capabilities (FTCs). Existing studies have examined FTCs mainly using simple sinusoidal waves, of which repeated profiles have a critical limitation due to a learning effect in force tracking. The present study examined the effects of personal factors (age and gender) and sinusoidal wave factors (central force and complexity) on FTCs of healthy adults using composite sinusoidal wave profiles (CSWPs). FTCs were measured using Finger $Touch^{TM}$ for 30 seconds and quantified in terms of time within the target range (TWR, accuracy measure) and relative RMSE (RRMSE, variability measure). A total of 90 healthy adults in 20s to 70s with the equal gender ratio participated in the experiment consisting of combinations of 2 central force levels (6 N and 10 N) and 2 complexity levels (approximate entropy, ApEn = 0.03 and 0.06) of CSWPs. Significantly decreased FTCs (lower TWR and higher RRMSE) were found in aged adults, females, the low central force, and the high complexity. The detailed FTC decrements include a 43% reduced TWR and a 85% increased RRMSE of older adults in 70s as compared to those in 20s, a 17% reduced TWR and a 17% increased RRMSE of female as compared to those of male, a 30% reduced TWR and a 108% increased RRMSE at central force = 6N when compared to those at central force = 10N, and a 19% reduced TWR and a 30% increased RRMSE at ApEn = 0.06 as compared to those at ApEn = 0.03. The characteristics of FTCs for CSWPs can be of use in establishing an assessment protocol of motor performance for screening brain disorders.

The Exposure Status and Biomarkers of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Shipyard Workers

  • Because shipyard workers are involved with various manufacturing process in shipyard industry, and they are exposed to many kinds of hazardous materials. Especially, painting workers were exposed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). This study was conducted to assess the exposure status of PAH based on job-exposure matrix. We investigated the effect of genetic polymorphism of xenobiotic metabolism enzymes involved in PAH metabolism on levels of urinary metabolite. A total of 93 shipbuilding workers were recruited in this study. Questionnaire variables were age, sex, use of personal protective equipment, smoking, drinking, and work duration. The urinary metabolite was collected in the afternoon and corrected by urinary creatinine concentration. The genotypes of CYP1A1, CYP2E1, GSTM1, GSTT1 and UGT1A6 were investigated by using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) methods with DNA extracted from venous blood. Urinary 1-OHP levels were significantly higher in direct exposured group (spray and touch-up) than indirect exposed group. Urinary 1-OHP, concentration of the high exposure with wild type of UGT1A6 was significantlyhigher than that of the high exposure with other UGT1A6 genotype. In multiple regression analysis of urinary 1-OHP, the regression coefficient of job grade was statistically significant (p<0.05) and UGT1A6 was not significant but a trend (p<0.1). The grade of exposure affected urinary PAH concentration was statistically significant. But genetic polymorphism of xenobiotics metabolism enzymes was not statistically significant. Further investigation of genetic polymorphism with large sample size is needed.

  • In his discussion of some desirable tuning points in comparative literary studies, Henry H. H. Remark has emphasized the importance of literary approach to other forms of art. Understanding the significance of such a method of comparative literature, the present study focusses on three contemporary Korean poets who have transferred Mark Chagall′s paintings into their poetry: Youngtae Kim, Chunsoo Kim, and Sunghun Lee. They are usually evaluated as surrealist/modernist in our literary circles. In transforming Chagall′s paintings into his poems, Youngtae Kim has incorporated a variety of surrealist mosaic techniques such as montage and collage. The resultant peculiarity of his poetry makes it hard to lay bare the correspondence or similarities between his poetic world and the world of Chagall′s artistry. It is nonetheless possible to see how Kim, as a poet and painter, had interpreted Chagall′s world with a bird′s-eye view of it. Chunsoo Kim′s "Snow Falling on the Village of Chagall" relates specially to one of Chagall′s paintings, "I and My Village." The present study has taken notice of this correlation in sorting out some basic elements of poetic transfiguration. One of the techniques employed in the poem under discussion is that of juxtaposing the Russian village of Chagall and the Korean village the poet visualizes, with the effect of putting two national traditions in contrast. A reading of the poem reveals that it is not so much the result of a detailed analysis of the painting as a revival of its lingering impression as a whole. In Sunghun Lee′s poetry, surrealist techniques are again a hallmark. But his method of transferring the images of the paintings into his poems falls somewhere between those of Youngtae Kim′s and Chunsoo Kim′s: it is akin to the ′bird′s-eye method′ of the former and shares the impressionistic touch with the latter, but at the same time Lee is analytical by disposition and opts for concrete descriptions. ′Love,′ ′farm,′ and ′time′ are the keywords that are brought under discussion in the present study. There is a growing demand in the current international comparative literary studies for broadening the area of comparative literature. This study hopes to be a small contribution to endorsing the importance of comparative approach to fine arts.

폐쇄형 식물공장내 태양광 파이버를 이용한 상추 재배효과 (Effects of Lettuce Cultivation Using Optical Fiber in Closed Plant Factory)

  • 본 연구는 태양광 기반으로 인공광 병렬 광공급 시스템을 개발하고 상추 재배효과를 구명하기 위하여 수행하였다. 태양광 기반으로 인공광원을 공급하는 장치는 광원 공급부, 전원공급부, 시스템 계측 및 제어부로 구성하였다. 광원공급부는 태양광 전송장치(광파이버)와 LED 램프(인공광)로 구성하였고, 태양광 전송장치는 광 전송률이 우수한 석영재질의 광섬유(Optical fiber)로 제작되었으며, 인공광은 LED 중 White 램프를 사용하였다. 전원 공급부는 누전 차단기, SMPS, LED 제어기 및 릴레이로 구성하였다. 시스템계측 및 제어부는 터치스크린과 지그비(ZigBee) 통신모듈, 광량센서로 구성하였다. 구성한 장치의 성능시험 결과 광량센서로 측정된 강도가 200μmol·m-2·s-1 이하가 되면 자동적으로 LED 램프가 작동되어 보광하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 본 장치를 활용하여 상추를 재배한 결과, 엽장, 뿌리길이, 엽록소 함량 및 지하부 생체중이 LED 처리보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서본 장치는 화석연료 고갈 등으로 전기 사용에 제한이 올때 폐쇄형 식물공장 같은 시설에서 작물을 재배할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램이 예비 과학교사의 융합인재 핵심역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of STEAM Program using Arduino on Preservice Science Teachers' STEAM Core Competencies)

  • 본 연구는 예비 과학교사들을 대상으로 아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램을 적용하여 융합인재 핵심 역량에 어떠한 변화가 있는지 살펴보았다. 아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램은 STEAM과 아두이노, 그리고 SW 교육에 대한 이론적 배경의 학습, 상황 제시, 창의적 설계, 감성적 체험, 그리고 평가 단계로 구성되며, 각 단계에서 아두이노를 활용할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 예비 과학교사들은 '미세먼지'를 주제로 아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램을 경험하였다. 예비교사들은 상황제시 단계에서 미세먼지란 무엇인지, 그리고 미세먼지의 심각성에 대해 학습한 후 미세먼지 측정기의 원리에 대해 살펴보았다. 창의적 설계 단계에서는 공기청정기를 제작하기 위해 설계도를 고안하였으며, 이때 아두이노를 활용하여 미세먼지 측정기 제작을 위한 방안을 구상할 수 있도록 하였다. 다음으로 감성적 체험 단계에서는 공기 청정기를 제작하고, 아두이노를 활용하여 미세먼지 측정기를 제작하도록 하였다. 마지막 평가 단계에서는 제작한 공기청정기를 작동하여 미세먼지 측정기를 활용하여 미세먼지 농도를 측정하여 평가할 수 있도록 하였다. 예비교사들은 아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램 경험 후 의사소통 역량, 문제 해결 역량, 정보수집 역량, 논리분석적 사고 역량, 창의적 역량이 향상되었다. 또한, 예비교사들은 프로그램 경험 후 예비교사들은 아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 수업의 학교 현장에서의 활용 가능성에 대해 과학적 탐구능력 함양, 협동심과 소통능력 향상, 문제해결력과 창의적 사고력 활용을 언급하였다. 또한 이들은 STEAM 프로그램에 아두이노를 접목하여 활용함으로써 소프트웨어적 지식과 능력을 기를 수 있을 것이라고 하였다.

IEC 60364-4-44의 국내 도입을 위한 실증시험장 구성 (Configuration of Test Field for Introduction of IEC 60364-4-44 to Domestic System)

  • This paper presents the final configuration of test field and test items for the application of IEC 60364-4-44 in Korea. IEC 60364-4-44 provides rules for the protection against the effects of conducted and radiated disturbances on electrical installations. Especially this standard deals with the protection of low voltage facility against the ground fault in the high voltage side of power distribution system. Many countries define the regulations on the use of electrical facilities based on their own power system and technical references which are considered to be suitable for them. The background of circuit of IEC 60364-4-44 is based on the ungrounded system as most of European countries. However, domestic electric power distribution system is based on multi-grounding system different from European system. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate or prove the effect of the IEC 60364-4-44 for introducing and applying it to the domestic grounding system as a national standard. The authors with KEA(Korea Electric Association) carried out a project on the application of IEC 60364-4-44 to Korean electrical installations of buildings sponsored by Korean ministry of commerce, industry and energy for three years(2004.4.1$\sim$2007.3.31). The test field is established in K.E.R.I.(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute), which is the purpose of evaluating the formula to calculate touch voltage and stress voltage in the IEC standards. This paper presents some considerations and final configuration of test field to evaluate and introduce the IEC 60364-4-44 applicable to domestic rule for the protection against ground fault.

홈 트레이닝 앱 사용이 언택트 시대의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Using Home Training App on Quality of Life in the Untact Era)

  • 코로나-19의 전염을 피하기 위해 전세계적으로 실외 활동이 줄어지고 집에서 생활하는 시간이 길어지고 있다. 그 결과 신체 활동이 저하되면서 지루함과 불안감 및 면역저하를 호소하는 사람들이 늘고 있다. 실내 생활이 장기화하면서 집에서 할 수 있는 다양한 방식의 홈 트레이닝이 활성화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 언택트 시대에 생긴 코로나 블루(지루함 및 사회적 불안감)가 홈 트레이닝 앱의 사용을 통해 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 중국 설문조사 전문 사이트를 사용하여 중국인을 대상으로 설문지를 수집하였으며, 최종적으로 383개의 적정 자료를 SPSS24.0와 AMOS 24.0를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 홈 트레이닝을 실제 사용한 경험이 삶의 질에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 언택트 시대에 대한 사용자가 지각하는 사회적 불안감이 높을수록 홈 트레이닝 앱에 대한 상호작용성과 운동만족도가 높은것으로 나타났다. 홈 트레이닝 앱은 소비자의 지루하다는 심리를 해소하는 결과를 넘어서 보다 긍정적인 효과인 운동만족 및 삶의 질을 높일 수 있기에, 다양한 디지털 서비스의 통로로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
