양형 튜블러 샤프트 요크 적용 가변 슬라이딩 중간축 모듈의 토크 변경에 따른 응력 분포 특성 (The Effect of Torque Variation on the Stress Distribution Characteristics in A-IMS Module with both Side Tubular Shaft Yoke)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of torque variation on stress distributions in A-IMS module with both side tubular shaft yoke by numerically. In order to achieve this, the torque value was increased from 10Nm to 40Nm, and the results of this work were confirmed in terms of Von-mises Stress and the displacement characteristics. As the torque in module assembly was increased, the stress in tubular shaft york and splined shaft york was increased linearly. The indentation due to the steel ball was occurred in over $40N{\cdot}m$ torque which is over the yield strength condition. The largest displacement occurred in the tubular shaft yoke 1, however, it does not exceed the yield strength and is supposed to be restored due to the elasticity. Therefore, it was concluded that there is no problem for the manufacturing of A-IMS with both side tubular shaft yoke.

  • This paper describes the numerical analysis of effect of geometric variation on the straight-bladed vertical axis wind turbine. Geometry variation is performed with pockets on the blades. The results presented in this numerical analysis show the general flow pattern of near the bladed, and azimuth angle variation on stating torque value. It is shown that the pockets makes torque higher about 80%.

  • 본 논문은 IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 고성능 운전을 위해 비선형 제어를 기반으로 하는 적응 백스텝핑 제어기를 제안한다. 먼저 각속도의 추종성능을 향상시키기 위해서 비선형 백스텝핑 제어기를 설계한다. 파라메타 변동의 영향을 고려하지 않고 설계된 제어기는 고성능 운전이 어렵다. 부하토크의 변동에 대해 실시간 적응할 수 있는 파라메타 추정기를 설계에 포함하여 고성능 운전이 가능하게 한다. 또한 전동기의 효율적인 전력소비를 위하여 최대토크를 얻기 위한 최소전류의 운전을 할 수 있도록 제어기를 설계하였다. 제안된 제어기로 2마력급의 IPMSM에 적용하여 각속도 레퍼런스에 대한 추종성능과 부하토크 변동에 대한 추정, 그리고 MTPA(Maximum Torque per Ampere) 운전을 시험하여 일정토크 운전영역에서 안정화된 강건한 제어기임을 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In 3 phase induction motor control system, the speed control using the load torque observer becomes robust against disturbances by means of a feed-forward control of the estimated load torque component. In case of variation of inertia moment, the estimated load torque has error because the observer uses the nominal inertia to estimate the load torque. And so, it is difficult to obtain good speed control characteristics. This paper has two study target strategy. First, we executes feed-forward control with the load torque observer when motor inertia has nominal value and compare it with conventional PI con¬trol. The second strategy estimates inertia moment error using the load torque observer when inertia moment change. The proposed two strategy is confirmed through the computer simulations and the experimental implementations by TMS320C31 microprocessor.

역방향 토크시 무단변속기 동력전달 특성과 제어로직 (CVT Power Transmitting Characteristics and Control Logics for Negative Torque)

  • In this paper, the power transmitting mechanism for negative torque of the metal V-belt (MVB) CVT were investigated by theoretically analyzing variation of band tension, block compression forces for each of the primary and secondary pulleys. An experimental study was performed to investigate the speed ratio - thrust characteristics for negative torque. The experimental results are in good acoordance with the theoretical results. CVT line pressure control logic was suggested for negative torque based the speed radio - negative torque - thrust characteristics and the thrust ratio curves. The results of this study can be used as basic design materials for developing the CVT control system for negative torque.

  • The torque of SRM is developed by phase currents and inductance variation. The inductance of torque generation region is nonlinearly varied according to phase current. By this nonlinear characteristics, torque ripple can be generated on the condition of constant current. Otherwise, phase current should be controlled instantaneously in accordance with inductance to reduce torque ripple. In this paper, the control system with neural network that can reduce torque ripple is suggested. In this control system, instantaneous inductance and optimal current waveform for smallest torque ripple is obtained by neural network. And this required optimal current waveform is regulated by voltage control.

구동토크의 고주파 변동 성분이 존재하는 회전원판의 횡진동 거동에 대한 실험 검증 (Experimental Verification for Transverse Vibration Behavior of a Spinning Disk with Torque Variation)

  • This paper intends to identify experimentally the relationship between transverse vibration behavior of a spinning disk and high-frequency fluctuation in the driving torque. A testrig has been developed using a CD-ROM disk, a driving motor with torque-varying capability and a power transmission belt and a laser vibrometer was employed to measure the transverse vibration displacements of the disk for a certain range of the spinning speed. The results show that the spinning speed and the magnitude and frequency of the torque fluctuation affect the stability of the disk. In other word, the torque fluctuation causes the instability of the disk at several ranges of the spinning speed below the critical speed and its effects become larger as the disk spins faster or the magnitude of torque fluctuation becomes bigger. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with analytical estimation.

A New Direct Torque Control Scheme of an Induction Motor Using Duty Ratio Modulation

  • The direct torque control (DTC) scheme features a simple structure thanks to stator flux-oriented control. It has the advantage of robustness against motor parameters variation since only the stator resistance is involved in the control scheme. On the other hand, the disadvantage of DTC is large torque ripple. To reduce the torque ripple, many studies on DTC-space vector modulation (DTC-SVM) schemes, which modulate the duty ratio with a fixed switching cycle, have been proposed. However, there is the difficulty in obtaining the duty ratio for DTC-SVM. Hence, this paper proposes a new duty ratio selection and stator flux calculation methods for reducing torque ripple. Simulations and experiments were carried out to determine the validity of the proposed method. The proposed scheme has simplified the duty ratio command and achieved the same control performance as the conventional duty ratio modulation method without using the information of motor parameters.

  • In this paper, the magnetic circuit characteristics and the current/torque analysis of a Spoke Type permanent magnet motor have been researched, compared with the SPM Type motor. In the magnetic circuit analysis, the characteristic of air-gap flux density has been analyzed according to the variation of the number of pole and the ratio of magnet height to arc length using finite element method and circuit equations. Moreover, the electromagnetic and the reluctance torque have been analyzed by the current profile, which is obtained from the variation of turn-on angle, and these informative data has been utilized for the overall characteristics of the Spoke Type BLDC motor.

  • Microstep characteristics largely depends on the variation of friction force induced by the geometric accuracy of ballscrew, guide rail and the control characteristics of servo unit. In this paper, for improving the microstep characteristics of hydrostatic table with ballscrew, microstep resolution according to the control mode of servo amplifier and response characteristic by the variation of integral gain are tested and compared. Relationship between micro motion behavior of hydrostatic table and the output torque is also tested for acquiring the effective variables on control characteristics. From the results. it is confirmed that the torque control mode has a advantage in microstep resolution, and more stable than velocity control mode in low feed rate, and by the increase of integral gain in the elastic motion realm, response characteristics can be improved.
