  • In this paper, we define a new Lucas-Padoovan sequence using the Padovan sequence, and a new topological interconnection network is constructed using it. Coding nonnegative integers using subsequences of the Lucas-Padovan sequence, and using this to construct a new Lucas-Padovan cubes to deal with topological properties.

  • In this paper, we propose a new interconnection network, hierarchical odd network HON($C_d,C_d$), which used the odd network as basic modules. We investigate various topological properties of HON($C_d,C_d$), including connectivity, routing algorithm, diameter and broadcasting. We show that HON($C_d,C_d$) outperforms the three networks, i.e. the odd network, HCN(m,m), and HFN(m,m).

  • In this paper, we derive analytical closed results for the first (a, b)-KA index, the Sombor index, the modified Sombor index, the first reduced (a, b)-KA index, the reduced Sombor index, the reduced modified Sombor index, the second reduced (a, b)-KA index and the mean Sombor index mSOα for the OTIS biswapped networks by considering basis graphs as path, wheel graph, complete bipartite graph and r-regular graphs. Network theory plays a significant role in electronic and electrical engineering, such as signal processing, networking, communication theory, and so on. A topological index (TI) is a real number associated with graph networks that correlates chemical networks with a variety of physical and chemical properties as well as chemical reactivity. The Optical Transpose Interconnection System (OTIS) network has recently received increased interest due to its potential uses in parallel and distributed systems.

  • In this paper, we analyze topological properties and embedding of Folded Hyper-Star network to further improve the network cost of Hypercube, a major interconnection network. Folded Hyper-Star network has a recursive expansion and maximal fault tolerance. The result of embedding is that Folded Hypercube $FQ_n$ and $n{\times}n$ Torus can be embedded into Folded Hyper-Star FHS(2n,n) with dilation 2. Also, we show Folded Hyper-Star FHS(2n,n) can be embedded into Folded Hypercube $FQ_{2n-1}$ with dilation 1.

  • In this paper, we propose a new class of MIN(Multistage Interconnection Network) called Combine MIN which combines static network topology and apimic network topology. Combine U provides multiple paths at a hardware cost lower than that of MIN with unique path property. Combine MIN can be constructed suitable for localized communication by providing the shortcut path and multiple paths inside the processor-memory cluster which has frequent data communications. According to the results of analysis and simulation for performance evaluation, Combine MIN shows higher performance than MINs of the same network size in the highly localized communication Therefore, Combine MIN can be used as an attractive interconnection network for parallel applications with a localized communication pattern in shared-memory multiprocessor systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a new interconnection network topology, hierarchical folded hyper-star network HFH($C_n,\;C_n$), which is based on folded hyper-star network. Our results show that the proposed hierarchical folded hyper-star network performs very competitively in comparison to folded hyper-star network and hierarchical network HCN(m,m), HFN(m,m) have been previously proposed, when diameter ${\times}$ degree is used as a network cost measure. We also investigate various topological properties of HFH($C_n,\;C_n$) including connectivity, routing algorithm, diameter, broadcasting.

  • Recently A Hyper-Star Graph HS(m, k) has been introduced as a new interconnection network of new topology for parallel processing. Hyper-Star Graph has properties of hypercube and star graph, further improve the network cost of a hypercube with the same number of nodes. In this paper, we show that Hyper-Star Graph HS(m, k) is subgraph of hypercube. And we also show that regular graph, Hyper-Star Graph HS(2n, n) is node-symmetric by introduced mapping algorithm. In addition, we introduce an efficient one-to-all broadcasting scheme - takes 2n-1 times - in Hyper-Star Graph HS(2n, n) based on a spanning tree with minimum height.

  • The Pancake graph is node symmetric and useful interconnection network in the field of data sorting algorithm. The Half Pancake graph is a new interconnection network that reduces the degree of the Pancake graph by approximately half and improves the network cost of the Pancake graph. In this paper, we analyze topological properties of the Half Pancake graph $HP_n$. Fist, we prove that $HP_n$ has maximally fault tolerance and recursive scalability. In addition, we show that in $HP_n$, there are isomorphic graphs of low-dimensional $HP_n$. Also, we propose that the Bubblesort $B_n$ can be embedded into Half Pancake $HP_n$ with dilation 5, expansion 1. These results mean that various algorithms designed for the Pancake graph and the Bubble sort graph can be executed on $HP_n$ efficiently.

  • recently, a new hypercube-like interconnection network, the Z-cube, was proposed. The Z-cube retains most good topological properties, however, its node degree is 3/4 of hypercube's one. Considering hardware implementations, the Z-cube is a good alternative to the hypercube. In this paper, we obtained the diameter, fault diameter and the average distance between two nodes to evaluate the communication performance of the Z-cube. The recursive structure, the shortest path between two nodes I Z-cube and recurrence relation on the average distance were deduced, and node disjoint path was introduced. Although it is generally expected that the communication performance in an interconnection network with reduced node degree falls as much as that, this paper shows that the Z-cube's diameter is the same as the hypercube's one and the average distance between two nodes in Z-cube is about 1.125 times the average distance between two nodes in the hypercube and the fault diameter of Z-cube ranges approximately from 1.4times to 1.7times the fault diameter of the hypercube.
