As global energy crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic have emerged as social issues, there is a growing demand for companies to move away from profit-centric business models and embrace sustainable management that balances environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. ESG activities of companies vary across industries, and industry-specific weights are applied in ESG evaluations. Therefore, it is important to develop strategic management approaches that reflect the characteristics of each industry and the importance of each ESG factor. Additionally, with the stance of strengthened focus on ESG disclosures, specific guidelines are needed to identify and report on sustainable management activities of domestic companies. To understand corporate sustainability strategies, analyzing ESG reports and news articles by industry can help identify strategic characteristics in specific industries. However, each company has its own unique strategies and report structures, making it difficult to grasp detailed trends or action items. In our study, we analyzed ESG reports (2019-2021) and news articles (2019-2022) of six companies in the 'Finance,' 'Manufacturing,' and 'IT' sectors to examine the sustainability strategies of leading domestic ESG companies. Text mining techniques such as keyword frequency analysis and topic modeling were applied to identify industry-specific, ESG element-specific management strategies and issues. The analysis revealed that in the 'Finance' sector, customer-centric management strategies and efforts to promote an inclusive culture within and outside the company were prominent. Strategies addressing climate change, such as carbon neutrality and expanding green finance, were also emphasized. In the 'Manufacturing' sector, the focus was on creating sustainable communities through occupational health and safety issues, sustainable supply chain management, low-carbon technology development, and eco-friendly investments to achieve carbon neutrality. In the 'IT' sector, there was a tendency to focus on technological innovation and digital responsibility to enhance social value through technology. Furthermore, the key issues identified in the ESG factors were as follows: under the 'Environmental' element, issues such as greenhouse gas and carbon emission management, industry-specific eco-friendly activities, and green partnerships were identified. Under the 'Social' element, key issues included social contribution activities through stakeholder engagement, supporting the growth and coexistence of members and partner companies, and enhancing customer value through stable service provision. Under the 'Governance' element, key issues were identified as strengthening board independence through the appointment of outside directors, risk management and communication for sustainable growth, and establishing transparent governance structures. The exploration of the relationship between ESG disclosures in reports and ESG issues in news articles revealed that the sustainability strategies disclosed in reports were aligned with the issues related to ESG disclosed in news articles. However, there was a tendency to strengthen ESG activities for prevention and improvement after negative media coverage that could have a negative impact on corporate image. Additionally, environmental issues were mentioned more frequently in news articles compared to ESG reports, with environmental-related keywords being emphasized in the 'Finance' sector in the reports. Thus, ESG reports and news articles shared some similarities in content due to the sharing of information sources. However, the impact of media coverage influenced the emphasis on specific sustainability strategies, and the extent of mentioning environmental issues varied across documents. Based on our study, the following contributions were derived. From a practical perspective, companies need to consider their characteristics and establish sustainability strategies that align with their capabilities and situations. From an academic perspective, unlike previous studies on ESG strategies, we present a subdivided methodology through analysis considering the industry-specific characteristics of companies.

In order to expand the qualitative aspects of public facility, this study used SNS data to derive user-oriented preference factors for public facilities and then were quantified in terms of supply side and demand side. To derive preference factor, LDA, one of topic modeling, was used and attraction index was calculated for each facility. In addition we analyzed spatial accessibility to measure the degree of service experience of users by using 2SFCA model. The study area covered public libraries of Seoul, Korea. As a result of study, five topics were extracted as preference factors for the public library: Circumstance, Scale of facility, Cultural program, Parenting, Books and materials. In particular topic of circumstance and parenting were newly derived preference factors unknown in previous studies. As a result of calculating attraction index for each library, the index of Songpa Library, Jungdok Library, and Namsan Library was high. Songpa library has received good evaluation in parenting factor, and Jungdok & Namsan library in circumstance factor. The accessibility of each region seems to better in center of Seoul where public libraries are crowded, but shrinking toward the outskirts. We expect that the proposed method will contribute to user-oriented public facility evaluation and policy decision making.

The purpose of this study is to derive and propose agenda to improve the quality of minority services provided by regional cental libraries at the present time when information gap is deepening. First, text mining and topic modeling were conducted on 144 studies in the field of library and information science that dealt with minorities, and the discussions surrounding minorities in the domestic library world were examined in detail. Next, the current status of services for minorities in Regional central libraries were examined in detail, and tasks requiring discussion were sought in planning and operation of services for minorities in Regional central libraries. To this end, interviews were conducted with practitioners, in charge of services for minorities at Regional central libraries. Specifically, 1) awareness of minorities by practitioners, 2) current status of minority services, and 3) responsibility and role of Regional central libraries for planning and operating minority services and necessary support were analyzed. Based on the analysis results, the following tasks were derived. 1) Recategorization of minority groups, 2) Establishment of reference resource, 3) Reinforcement of education, and 4) Cooperation support between regional representative libraries and local public libraries were derived and suggested.

As the transaction volume of the C2C second-hand market is growing, the number of frauds, which intend to earn unfair gains by sending products different from specified ones or not sending them to buyers, is also increasing. This study explores the model that can identify frauds in the online C2C second-hand market by examining the postings for transactions. For this goal, this study collected 145,536 field data from actual C2C second-hand market. Then, the model is built with the characteristics from postings such as the topic and the linguistic characteristics of the product description, and the characteristics of products, postings, sellers, and transactions. The constructed model is then trained by the machine learning algorithm XGBoost. The final analysis results show that fraudulent postings have less information, which is also less specific, fewer nouns and images, a higher ratio of the number and white space, and a shorter length than genuine postings do. Also, while the genuine postings are focused on the product information for nouns, delivery information for verbs, and actions for adjectives, the fraudulent postings did not show those characteristics. This study shows that the various features can be extracted from postings written in C2C second-hand transactions and be used to construct an effective model for frauds. The proposed model can be also considered and applied for the other C2C platforms. Overall, the model proposed in this study can be expected to have positive effects on suppressing and preventing fraudulent behavior in online C2C markets.

This study analyzed the changes in social media reactions of data subjects to major personal data breach incidents in South Korea from January 2014 to October 2022. We collected a total of 1,317 posts written on Naver Blogs within a week immediately following each incident. Applying the LDA topic modeling technique to these posts, five main topics were identified: personal data breaches, hacking, information technology, etc. Analyzing the temporal changes in topic distribution, we found that immediately after a data breach incident, the proportion of topics directly mentioning the incident was the highest. However, as time passed, the proportion of mentions related indirectly to the personal data breach increased. This suggests that the attention of data subjects shifts from the specific incident to related topics over time, and interest in personal data protection also decreases. The findings of this study imply a future need for research on the changes in privacy awareness of data subjects following personal data breach incidents.

The purpose of this study is to shed light on the meaning and value of interest (in Korean 'Jae-mi') in science education through literature analysis. Literature analyses were conducted on literature related to interest in various fields such as Korean language, psychology, philosophy, and education. Specifically, this study discussed the meaning of interest, the characteristics of the context of experiencing interest, the educational value of interest in science education, and the direction of science education to realize the value of interest. First, it was found that interest is an experience of emotional activation that can be felt through interaction with a specific object, and it is an emotional experience caused by the complex combination of various psychological factors, which is oriented sense, relationship, self, and object. Second, to understand the context of experience of interest, we conducted a topic modeling analysis with 1173 research articles related to interest. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the context of interest is closely related with playfulness. And we addressed that this kind of playfulness is also found in science. Third, the educational values of interest in science education were discussed. In science education, fun is not only an instrumental value to induce science learning behavior, it is also one of the universal experiences that learners feel lively in science teaching-learning, and driving force of individual students' emotional development related to science. The students' active attitude to feel interest lead to creative thinking and action. Finally, we argued that the interest that should be aimed in science education should be active interest and experienced at trial and error, not passive interest induced by external stimuli. And science education culture should be encouraged to respect those who enjoy science. In particular, this study discussed the importance of each student's unique interest experience based on the philosophy of philosopher Deleuze (1976).

In this study, text mining analysis was performed on online big data for recognition and assessment of urban brand I Seoul U. To this end, TEXTOM, a processing program for data acquisition and analysis was used, and the 'I SEOUL U' keyword was selected as an analysis keyword. Keyword analysis shows the keywords associated with I Seoul U to be as follows: First, as a business and marketing term, keywords include pop-up store, gallery, co-branding, (festival, etc.), commodities, private companies and online. Second, as an event-related term, keywords include Han River, tree-planting day, tree planting, Hongdae, Christmas, Mapo, Jung-gu, Sejong University, and festival. Third, as a promotional term, keywords include robotics engineer Dr. Dennis Hong, Government, Art and Korea. In the N Gram analysis, as the city brand of Seoul, I Seoul U, in the public interest, was found to contribute to the commercial activities of private companies. In connection-oriented analysis, business and marketing, events, and promotions have been derived as categories. In matrix analysis, it was found that the products of the pop-up store are mainly developed, and products in the form of co-branding were being developed. In the topic modeling, a total of 10 topics were extracted and needs for commercial utilization and information for event festivals were mostly found.

Purpose: This year 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Society of Nursing Science (KSNS). This study was aimed to explore development of caring and describe the 50 years of history of KSNS within the sociocultural context of Korea regarding academic footsteps, meanings, and implications for the future. Methods: This study used a historical research methodology using a literature review and bibliometric analysis. Relevant literature was reviewed and the published abstracts in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing (JKAN) were analyzed using VOSviewer. Results: Birth control and family planning in the 1970s was the main research topic. In the 1980s, the development of nursing concepts, theories, and philosophies was the mission of KSNS to extend the disciplinary boundary. In the 1990s, the progress of KSNS to become one of the woman-dominant healthcare professionals was the mission in the given period. Expanding the frontiers of KSNS to the extent of global standards was the undertaking of the nursing scholars in the 2000s. Lastly, in the 2010s, the quality and quantity improvement of KSNS and JKAN is expected to make our future even prosperous. The map visualization of the 50 years of research accumulation showed the comparable opposition of quantitative vs. qualitative research methodologies, equation modeling, and instrument development. Conclusion: These clusters of research demonstrates the efforts to make nursing evidence by Korean nursing scholars for the last five decades. The growth in the slope of KSNS and outcomes of JKAN are to carry on to an unimaginable extent in the future.

A seamless analysis of complex geometry is one of greatly interesting topic. However, there are still gaps between the industrial applications and fundamental academic studies owing to time consuming modeling process. To resolve this problem, an auto mesh generation program based on grid-based approach has been developed for IT-product in the present study. At first, base mesh and skin mesh are generated using the information of entities which extracted from IGES file. Secondly the provisional core mesh with rugged boundary geometry is constructed by superimposing the skin mesh as well as the base mesh generated from the CAD model. Finally, the positions of boundary nodes are adjusted to make a qualified mesh by adapting node modification and smoothing techniques. Also, for the sake of verification of mesh quality, the hexahedral auto mesh constructed by the program is compared with the corresponding tetrahedral free mesh and hexahedral mapped mesh through static finite element analyses. Thereby, it is anticipated that the grid-based approach can be used as a promising pre-processor for integrity evaluation of various IT-products.

For the past 50 years, innovation field has gone through an evolution. The range of research topics on innovation has expanded and diversified, along with a quantitative increase. In a multi-disciplinary field like innovation, to explore new topics and understand research trends, it is necessary to possess a comprehensive understanding regarding the current status of, and trends in, the research. In this study, the research trend in innovation studies from 2000 to 2015 was analyzed in a holistic perspective. For this, a novel technique, text mining was used. The result shows that innovation studies has focused on the traditional and emerging topics. Also, the differentiations has appeared in some of the traditional topics. This study provides not only an understanding of research dynamics, but also an opportunity to gain insights into the evolution of a new paradigm from an academic perspective.
