Top Down 선기둥의 지지력 산정방법에 관한 연구 (Study on Load Carrying Capacity of Top Down Prefounded Columns)

  • As underground construction is a large component of the cost of construction and a term of works in Top-Down construction, it is important to reduce the term of works in underground construction. The purpose of this study is to analyse buckling stress and load of prefounded columns as the process of excavation is changed, and propose a suitable process of excavation to increase the speed of works. When several floors are excavated, the valid buckling length of profounded column is increase and allowable buckling stress is decreased. The result shows that all columns are safe in buckling down to B3th story whether 2 stories or 3 stories are excavated straightly. However, several columns are not safe from B4th story when 2 or 3 stories are excavated straightly. With these results, a process can be designed that first B3 stories are excavated straightly, and then excavate B4th story putting concrete on B1st and B2nd story.

Top Down 공사의 선기둥 수직도 계측 (Measurement of Prefounded Column Erection During Top Down Construction)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the straightness of prefounded columns during underground construction stages. There are several causes of an error of prefounded column: (1) columns connected by welding or bolting, (2) by placement of concrete and aggregates around columns, (3) movement during construction, and (4) load applied during construction. The error of column straightness is different for each column, and the tilting of columns is shown in one or two directions between floors. The additional loads caused by the error of straightness may give damage to buildings. This paper presents the measurement results of column straightness, and thus providing a basis for further analysis.

  • In Top-Down construction for underground structures, the placement of slab as a horizontal supporting member against lateral earth pressure is an important process in determining construction time and cost. Usually, a reinforced concrete perimeter girder distributes concentrated lateral loads from earth retaining structures such as Cast-in-place (CIP) piles. By combining the function of the R/C perimeter girder and horizontal slabs, the Opened Slab Method is efficient for reducing construction time by elimination of time-consuming formwork for traditional perimeter girders. The structural performance of the method is also discussed in this paper.

  • This paper proposes a process to calculate the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) of underground vertical extension methods through considering the characteristics of used construction and demolished materials. The underground vertical extension methods analyzed in this paper were the bottom-up, normal top-down, and top-down methods with multi-post downward (MPD). In order to check the applicability of the proposed process, 24 illustrative examples were generated. The amount of C&D waste of the illustrative examples were calculated and compared. As the results, the top-down method with MPD was the most efficient method to reduce the amount of C&D waste.

  • For the construction of Top-Down structures, it is crucial to have a solid connection between prefounded columns and slabs. This paper presents a new construction method for the connection when using a circular Concrete Filled Tube (CFT) as a prefounded column as an alternative to currently using wide flange type columns. The development of shear studded jackets along with a shear band suitable for the circular shape of the column has been made. The details and mechanism of the connection is explained together with the results of experiments which verified the structural integrity of the connection.

  • Recently, structural damage and defect has occurred in the H-beam backfill installation part of Top-Down construction method. In order to secure structural safety and usability in the adjacent section of the backfilling method, It turns out that it is necessary to analyze by dividing into various cases. The H-beam backfill installation section is divided into the case of adding a vertical plate inside the slab, adding a shear stud, adding a reinforcing bar, changing the thickness of the pressure plate, and filling the H-beam backfill with mortar. Ansys modeling was performed and an appropriate solution was suggested by analysis.

  • 패널식 옹벽은 지보재를 통한 선지보 개념으로 프리캐스트 패널과 체결하여 원지반 강도를 최대한 보호하며 보강하는 공법이다. 최근 건설공사에서 대규모 깎기비탈면의 형성에 따른 토공량 증가와 환경 훼손을 최소화하고 용지제한에 따른 토지의 효율적인 이용을 위해 패널식 옹벽의 적용이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 원지반 부착식 패널옹벽은 자연암반 질감을 갖는 프리캐스트 콘크리트 패널을 사용하여 경관성을 향상시키고 완전한 Top-Down 시공법을 구현하도록 개발된 공법으로 수직절취와 패널의 원지반 직접부착이 가능해 비탈면 이완을 최소화하고 터파기 및 되메우기 공종을 배제하여 시공성을 개선하였다. 본 연구는 현장시험시공을 수행하여 수직절취 및 Top-Down에 대한 시공성을 확인하고, 대형재하시험과 하중단계별 계측결과를 분석하여 원지반 부착식 패널옹벽의 거동특성을 분석하였다.

  • 최근 건축구조물이 대형화됨에 따라 현장타설말뚝을 이용한 Top-Down공법이 공기단축 및 경제성 등의 이유로 자주 채택되고 있다. Top-Down 기초로 시공되는 현장타설말뚝의 경우 설계하중이 크다는 이유로 인해 품질확인용 재하시험을 생략하는 경우가 대부분이며, 대규모 설계하중을 검증하기 위한 전통적인 재하시험 방법 또한 적용하기 곤란한 경우가 많다. Top-Down 공법에 있어 건축구조물의 대형화에 의한 현장타설말뚝의 사용하중이 증대됨에 따라 현장타설말뚝에 대한 품질확인은 점차 중요시되고 있으며, 이에 대한 대안으로서 축소모형말뚝을 이용한 시험방법의 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 대구경 현장타설말뚝의 지지력 측정시 전통적인 재하시험 방법의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 축소모형말뚝을 이용하는 방안을 제시하였으며 특히, 시험결과의 해석을 위해 암반에 근입된 현장타설말뚝의 치수효과에 관한 분석 방법을 제안하고 평가해 보았다.
